Chapter 1
Third Person's POV
The concept of a soulmate is far too absurd for Andrew's taste. It's like interacting with your soulmate via your mind. He refuses to believe that telepathy can allow him to communicate with his soulmate.
He has attempted to communicate with him but has received no response. It appears that his very own soulmate isn't quite ready to speak with him yet. That perplexed him greatly. All of his friends were able to communicate with their own soulmates. He was frustrated by his inability to communicate with his soulmate.
That is why he persuaded himself that he didn't have one. What a fool he is. He shared a birthmark with his other half, a little arrow birthmark near his heart.
"Andrew, oh my gosh. My soulmate is such a sweetheart." Collin said, he's one of his friends, arrived at his flat, where he lived with Ezekiel, and wept about how sweet his soulmate was.
"I'm in the kitchen right now. But Collin, what did he say this time? " He stated that with a smile on his face, but the other didn't hear the sarcasm in his tone. While approaching Collin, he pulled a bottle of water from their refrigerator and drank the liquid.
"He isn't a photographer, but he sees myself and him together." Collin muttered this while giggling like a lunatic. Andrew, on the other hand, spit the water from his mouth into into his face.
"DUDE, YOU'RE TERRIBLY AWFUL!" Collin's face was flushed with surprise and disgust. Andrew's face lit up with delight. "Your misery seemed to be my enjoyment," he smirked. Minho let out giggles that he restrained from skipping into his own lips as Collin walked out of the flat with a frown on his face.
He doesn't want to acknowledge it, but he's relieved that his friends have already met their soul mate. He grinned bitterly at himself, knowing full well that he had no idea who his own soulmate was. He couldn't even talk to him, despite his repeated attempts over the course of two years. He's already losing hope of finding his own, but he's still clinging on to the idea that he shares the same birthmark as his soulmate. He also hopes that he will be able to respond to the messages he has conveyed through his mind shortly.
He had been in the living room later that evening, waiting for his flat mate while watching KDrama. His flat mate was deafeningly quiet, speaking only when he was asked. He was irritated by this because he thought the other was attractive. He had prepared a meal and will invite him to join him for dinner. He refused to admit that while waiting for his soulmate, he had developed a crush on his flat mate.
He recalls his flat mate’s flushed pink cheeks when he spoke to him after exiting the restroom with water droplets in his hair. He recalls his flat mate stuttering when he asked him to join him for breakfast early in the morning. When he heard the front door open, he was still daydreaming.
He focused his gaze on the door and observed Ezekiel enter the house with his head hung low. For reasons he didn't understand, his shoulder trembled violently. When he saw him crying and falling to his knees, he hurriedly walked towards the door. He had no idea what to do. He'd never seen his flat mate weep before.
He noticed that his breathing had become heavy. It wasn't quite right, he appeared to be breathing fast. He was at a loss for what to do, so he worriedly asked Ezekiel, "Do you mind if I touch you, Ezekiel? The pace of your breathing is abnormally fast." Ezekiel was unable to speak. He just gently nodded his as a result of not talking.
Andrew hurriedly carried the boy onto the couch, slumping his and Ezekiel's bodies together. "Ezekiel, please pay attention to how I breathe, okay?" He said it gently, and when Ezekiel nodded, he showed him how.
"Is it good if I count from 1 to 5? After then, hold your breath and gently exhale." He claimed that when he observed Ezekiel doing it properly, he urged him to keep doing it until his breath returned to normal.
He noticed Ezekiel's tiredness and muttered to him, "Thank you, Andrew." The boy had already entered dreamland at this point. He smiled as he held the adorable boy in his arms. Andrew is adamant about not putting Ezekiel to sleep on his own bed. He wants to keep the adorable boy safe. Exhaustion was hovering softly in his body, and he was slowly falling to sleep, dinner had already forgotten.
