CRITICAL MISSION : CAPTURE THE VILLAINESS' HEART CHAPTER 29 Mission 29 : Protect the Princess "WHAT ARE you doing here?" asked the commander in an unbelievable tone to the girl who just appeared from the bush. Even the captain, her self, made a jaw drop upon seeing the girl. Of course, the high ranked officials knows the face of the princess. Except for him, who just accidentally saw her face. Well, it is not that that accidentally. It was basically ignorance. It was his first days arriving to Enchantria back then. HE COULD NOT STILL believe himself to be in a fantasy world. Never in his life witness thing he saw recently. Dio, who was full of cuts a while ago, came out the huge door clean and looks like didn't went on a war. "Your turn," he said as he tapped his shoulder. He went inside with a soldier inside that room. Inside were white and golds. It was like stepping on a holy place. He was asked to sit in front of a satin curtained corner, with his back facing that. The soldier stood by the door, facing the other way and were meters away. He could hear some small pieces of metals clanging on each other. A hand tapped his back. That made him look behind. There he saw a pale looking face of an angel. Yes. Like what Habeck told him, she is really pretty. Is it normal to have such beauties in where he is? But he could see the pain behind that face. She is enduring something. She looks ill. "Turn your back. I'll heal you," she whispered like a harmony of a harp. He held her hand that was about to touch him again. "No," he shook his head. "Is this why you were sick?" he asked out of nowhere. Her eyes widened. "If healing me will make your state worse, then I'll better endure this on my own. You don't have to sacrifice your health." Just as he said those words, the soldier went near them and dragged him away from the princess. He pressed him down the cold floor with the sharp end of the sword on his throat. "What happened here? " Rojjan came in and echoed his voice inside. "He saw the princess' face," the soldier said. "I just saw her face. What's wrong with that? A beauty like that shouldn't be hiding," he defended but stopped when the sword moved closer to his neck. "Take him to the dungeon, " Rojjan ordered his men. WELL, LUCK IS STILL on his side. He wasn't killed that instant. He made a sin that he did expect and was spare. "Princess. What are you doing here?" he asked again. Stood in front of them was the princess of the kingdom. The prize to be whoever killed the dragon. She was still pale yet beautiful. She looks fragile and needs someone to protect her. "I was worried. I can't see you in the palace for days, so I followed you," she said. "But - - " "Then I got lost," she said innocent ly. " But then, I did not gave up. I keep on walking with Riel until I got here. But then, it looks like you don't want to be found out so I hid here for a while. But then, you notice me," she said and laughed awkwardly. They were about to say something when the princess slowly bent her knees and collapse. The Commander hurriedly went to her and catched her. Good thing she was still a little conscious. "For how long did you stayed there?" the commander asked. "Maybe, since yesterday?" she said in a very weak voice. "Yesterday?! " the Commander's voice were getting higher as a sign of anger. "You know you can't leave the palace." "I know. I am sorry, " she said and closed her her eyes. The Commander felt her pulse and it was still good. "Get a small cloth and get some water by the river," Rojjan ordered the captain. The commander carried the princes and and laid her down on the grassy area under a big tree where there is enough shade. Why does he feel there is a deep connection from the commander and the princess. From the way it looks, the commander cares for the princess like how he cares for the kingdom. He treasures her like a sentimental jewel. Do they have an affair? Are they lovers? What is their relation? The Captain hurriedly went back with a pail of water and pieces of clothes. And she also have a cup with a fresh water in it. Slowly, Rojjan poured the cup of water to the princess' dry lips. He did not pour it all, of course. The princess, half awake drank a few drips of water. "Clean her up, please. " The Commander stood up. "Let ' s go, " he asked Grey. He, too, stood up. "Pardon for my callous hands that will be washing your delicate precious skin, your highness, " whispered the Captain. He heard that before they left. So the captain will be washing her. That is why they need to move away. They moved the cooking materials more further, where they can not take any glace at the two woman. They were not talking. Well, the exact thing is, he is not talking to the commander. He can see the anger in his every little move. It was a mixture of anger, problem and worry. Why did the princess left the castle anyway? Who will cure the wounded soldiers in case the dragon appears and create a havoc again? "Be ready. Late in the afternoon, we'll leave. The palace might have found out the princess is missing. They will send several men to look for her, " Rojjan said. "But this is too far away. It is impossible to track us down. " "Do not under estimate those men. I trained them. They were not trackers if not for the skills I thought them. If they found out the princess went here and they saw us, they might report it to the king and suspect us right away. Because we are training behind the kingdom's back." "But we were doing this for the kingdom," he said. "Ye s. We are. But remember what will happen to you if if they find out your identity. Not all people in this kingdom will be on your side. It is just a luck that you got the Captain's . That is why I am also trusting you." "Okay, " he answer ed and sighed. "But is it okay that I haven't mastered manipulating my powers yet?" "We don't have any choice. As long as you know already that you have the powers within you. Just always remember the things I thought you, " he said. He nodded. This man is really a commander. A very good commander that have the nice heart. They were almost done preparing their food when the captain came. "The princess is now okay. She's awake too. But it seems that she is still weak, " Amber said. The commander brought food to the princess. The princess looks okay now. "You should have stayed at the castle," Rojjan said. " It is not safe outside the palace." "And am I safe inside the castle? " the princess answered back with a question. "I know that you know I am not safe even at the palace. No one is safe." "But, Patricia! Why is your head so hard? I told you, curing out soldiers would make big changes. There is no need to give more effort. " Rojjan looks like he is running out of patience. "How could the Commander reprimand the princess? " he hissed. "How dare he talked like that to her. " He was about to walked and meddle with their arguments. But the captain held his hand to stopped him from doing what he was thinking. "Let them, " she whispered. But the princess was too fragile. She was also obviously weak by heart. He has the feeling that he needs to protect her. Not because he cares. But he felt pity. He doesn't care if they were lovers. The commander is not treating her right. "I don't care. He can't talk to her like that," he said. "Let him. He has every right to do that, " the captain said. " The princess is his sister. They are siblings, " she said. "What? " his jaw almost dropped at what she just heard. The commander isn't just some high rank official. He is a prince? He has a royal blood.
