Tara sat next to her lawyer, ignoring her husband who sat in the witness stand with his usual smirk as he answered his lawyers questions "Mr. Harrison, how would you describe your s*x life?" Travis glanced at Tara, who refused to met his eyes and chuckled "Active" Tara forced back the laugh that threatened, 'Yeah with any willing female but me' she thought. "Is the court to understand that you are invoking the fertility clause of your marriage contract?" his lawyer pressed. Travis nodded, "In two and a half years, Tara hasn't conceived. I've been to the doctor and I have been assured that I have no issues with my own fertility so the problem is obviously her." Travis responded while watching his wife, wanting to see her reaction. "Your honor I present the report from medical examination Mr. Harrison mentioned as evidence A-1" His lawyer passed a copy to Tara's lawyer and the bailiff. "I have no further questions for Me. Harrison and the plaintiff rest your Honor." The judge nodded and looked to Tara's lawyer" Do you have any questions for Mr. Harrison.?" Tara's lawyer stood, "Not at this time your honor, but we would like to reserve the right to recall Mr. Harrison in the future if the need arrises." "Very well Mr. Harrison you may step down now." The judge turned back to Tara's lawyer" You may proceed." "Thank you your Honor. We would like to call Dr. Emily Mills to the stand." After the middle age woman swore to tell the truth Tara's lawyer asked for her profession and area of practice. "I am an OBGYN and fertility specialist." "And did you, at the request of the defendant perform a fertility exam on Mrs. Tara Harrison?" "I did." "When and where did this exam take place?" "Four days ago in the OBGYN ward at University Hospital." "And did you find any barriers to Mrs. Harrison's ability to concieve?" "Only one" the doctor replied vaguely. "I knew it!" Travis leaned across the table yelling at Tara. "Order!" the judge banged his gavel. "Mr. Harrison I will remind you that this is a court, you will contain yourself or be removed." The judge looked to the doctor on the witness stand,"Please explain your findings Doctor." The doctor sent a glare towards Travis before responding." The only barrier to Mrs. Harrison being able to concieve is exactly that. A barrier.Mrs. Harrison's hymen, is intact." "To clarify, Dr. Mills you are saying that Mrs. Harrison has never had s****l intercourse?" "Exactly, Mrs. Harrison is definitely a virgin. The position of her hymen is very shallow, so would be easily ruptured if she had engaged in any sort of s****l activity." "Your honor we present the report from Dr. Mills as evidence.
