"Up ya get boy, wake up." He was just opening his eyes when a bucket of freezing cold water was dumped on him. coughing and sputtering he rolled away gasping for air.
"f**k you!" another bucket of water hit him right in the face and he leaned against the bars wiping his eyes with his hands. "What do you want?"
Jason stood in the open door if his cell with a smirk on his face. "It's time to choose." Tyr was behind him working on starting a fire, grunts came from the man as he struggled to get the fire to be self sufficient. There was also a wonderful smell coming from nearby, and he spotted a plate full of scrambled eggs and sausage sitting beside the Tyr on the log.
"you've been with us a while now Thorin." he looked up startled as the man used his name for the first time. "and you've not exactly made your transition an easy one hmm."
He snorted, "oh yes this is all my fault, right." Jason hummed in response and walked over to the fire sitting down beside Tyr who had apparently gotten the fire going enough to his liking. The door to his cage was open, he wracked his brain for a moment, they were clearly expecting him to run, why else would they have left it open. Or they just enjoyed tormenting him, both were pretty good possibilities, perhaps they thought he was too broken to try anything.
"The wheels are turning boy, while you think of all the ways you can escape come eat and get warm." Jason held out the plate of food to him, Thorin got to his feet and hesitantly stepped out of the cage. He felt a rush of excitement as he did, he wanted so desperately to run, to just try his luck, see how far he could get. The logical part of him knew that both men where werewolves and they would catch him in. amatter if seconds, he would no doubt be punished, and he wasn't all that fond of that outcome.
The survival part of his brain urged him to rush forward and take the food, he stood there, in the doorway of his prison completely defeated by being given a choice to leave. He had been accustomed to it, to knowing what the day held, even if it was endless hours of boredom and torment with his own thoughts and memories. At least he knew what was going to happen, but now, he had no clue what Jason's game was, clearly they were toying with him.
"Is it drugged?" He asked, interrupting the long silence.
A smile tugged at the man's lips, "With Wolfsbane, yes." he set the plate back on the log, "But I don't really see you having any other option, a kids gotta eat, and this is the only food your getting."
Thorin thought about that statement, it didn't sit well with him...yes a kid did have to eat, but not this kid, he decided. He stepped out of his cage fully and stared at Jason, "No thanks."
The man chuckled and after a moment threw the food in the fire, "Suit yourself."
Thorin made his way over to the fire and sat down as far away from the two men as possible, "Gotta change those bandages kiddo."
"Or you could just let me have access to my wolf and be done with it."
Jason laughed and nodded, "We could, but we are not going to so heres another choice, willingly, or with sedation."
"Why do you even care?" he shot back
"Because whether you believe it or not, your well-being is a priority of mine."
"Sure it is." he snapped, and stared at the fire once more.
Jason stood up after a while and clapped his hands together, "Well here's the deal, you need to shower, gotta keep that wound clean." Jason held out a towel, Thorin snorted and took it from him. Despite his wounded pride, a shower sounded good to him, he was filthy, covered in mud from head to toe and he could feel it caked on his back as well. Tyr stood up and motioned for him to follow, they walked across to the long cabin and around to the side where a single shower nozzle hung...out in the open.
A sigh escaped his lips as he turned to look at Tyr, "Seriously?" The man sat down on a stool and opened up a book, from all appearances began reading, leaving him to strip and take a shower right in the open for everyone to see. He knew that there wasn't really anyone around to see him, and he told himself that, repeatedly, but he still couldn't bring himself to strip down, so he decided to just rinse off with his shorts on. He turned the nozzle and waited for it to get warm, which of course it didn't. Why would there be hot water for an outside shower...of course not. He thought bitterly, gritting his teeth he forced himself under the stream of water and had to keep himself from yelling as the frigid water slapped him of his warmth. He washed quickly, scrubbing himself and rinsing his hair until he was satisfied, he was about to turn off the water when he realized his bandages where still on, soaking wet and nasty from mud and blood. Groaning he stepped out of the stream and began taking them off as best he could. He hissed in pain as he pulled at the gauze as best he could but it wouldn't come off.
Tyr was still reading his book, not paying any attention, he pulled gently at first, then when that proved insufficient he yanked the bandage and let out a yell as it came off a long with some of the sutures on his back. Tyr got up and set his book down before turning to Thorin, He motioned for him to come. He needed help, and he really didn't want to have Tyr help, so he tried again to jerk it off m, suddenly the man was right in front of him, he grabbed Thorin's wrist and held it. " Do not yank it off you stupid boy." His gruff tone sounded fed up. he moved Thorin back under the water despite his protests and began peeling the dressing back gently. Small tugs at his back as the man worked to remove the bandages that had pressed into his wound from his time in the mud and rain.
Finally after what seemed like an eternity it can off, Tyr told him let the water run over it, but it was too painful to do for long, so after a minute he just ended up holding a cursing Thorin in a neck lock under the spray until he was satisfied it was clean. Thorin shut off the water and glared at Tyr, but the man promptly ignored him, instead he just threw him a towel and motioned for him to follow. His teeth chattered as he followed Tyr back to the fire, Wrapping the towel around his shoulders he sat as close as he could without burning himself. Jason strolled across the clearing from the cabin with a box of medical supplies, which he handed to Tyr.
"Look can I just have a freaken minute." He hissed as Tyr came over to him and sat behind him.
"No."
"Can you at least numb it like you did last time?"
"No."
Jason sat across the fire from him and smirked, "I can give you another sedative though if you'd like."
Thorin hocked a wad of spit at Jason, it fell short into the fire, but his message had been clear. Jason's smiled fell and in an instant he was in front of him, Thorin was suddenly on his stomach in the dirt with Jason's boot on his neck, and Tyr who had been behind him was gone, sitting next to the fire again.
Jason's eyes where glowing a deep shades of yellowish orange, almost bordering on red, and his wolf was right there on the surface, Thorin could feel the aura rolling off of him. It hit him suddenly that Jason was an alpha, he could feel the waves of power coming from the man. The position he was in currently was to force him to submit, he had felt a ghost of Fen some time ago, but now his presence was stronger and suddenly he also was on the surface. "Cannot win, too weak."
Fen surfaced as best he could, and a small whine escaped them, When they had disrespected Thorin's father, they had known that he would not kill them, they were after all his offspring, heir to the pack. But looking up at Jason who seemed to be struggling with his wolf and alpha nature, Fen was not sure, and neither was Thorin...They had made a deadly mistake.
After a moment Jason's eyes dulled back to their original brown and he leaned knelt down, replacing his foot, with his knee. Fen let out a low submissive whine and pushed forward more, taking control of the situation that Thorin had royally f****d up.
"A submissive alpha wolf, what a disgrace." Jason snorted in disgust,
Fen growled lowly, it rumbled in his chest, and Jason's eyes were ablaze again.
"I told you, you had a choose to make earlier, choose now." He growled.
Thorin could feel Fen becoming more and more awake by the second, Submission hadn't worked, and so he was rearing his head ready to protect them. He could feel himself shaking, not from fear however, but from rage.
"Can't, Fen's awake now." He felt multiple sets of hands on him as he was jerked to his feet.
"You almost had a bed for the night kiddo." Jason hissed in his ear, he was shoved to his knees and felt something close around his neck. This only served to make Fen panic even more, rage courses through their body and Thorin felt Fen take complete control, shoving him into the back of his own mind. Thorin could only watch as his face become long and his mouth closed around sharp canines. They could see that both men had stepped away and were watching him as he struggled and pulled against the chain around his neck. The humiliation if being collared and chained to a post in the ground only served to enrage Fen more. He took to gnawing at the chain and continuously slamming into the end of the chain in an attempt to get it to break.
After what felt like an eternity they where left panting, with bloodied saliva dripping from their mouth. Fen stood with his muzzle drawn back in a snarl, challenging the men who stood only several feet out of reach. Tyr watched him with a face void of expression but Jason looked angry.
"You are an impressive beast hu lad?" Thorin was confused, it seemed they were speaking directly to Fen, not him.
"They are, this doesn't concern you Thorin" Fen growled and pushed him to the back of his mind and dropped a mental block.
"You came to protect that boy, I know what happened." Jason nodded to Tyr, "He told me, but I will tell you now, you are not wanted here, I'll do what I have to do to protect that boy in there." Jason got to his feet, "Think on that for a while lad."
