Chapter 3

Yann’s POV

That’s already has been 2 days when Kate lost her conscious and I didn’t leave her side since then. Her dogs are lying next to her bed and only going out to the garden to do their business and running back to the room. They don’t want to go close to Brandon like they know who he is, so my mum takes care of them.

Kate’s a lighter color dog which is a b***h, she’s got a name tag that says that her name is Hachiko. Keep her nose close to Kate’s hand.

-‘how is she, any progress?’–my mum put her head in and come closer to Kate’s bed.

–‘ she is still the same mum’–I answered and put my head down.

–‘ she will be alright, you will see’–mum said–‘ Moon Goddess couldn’t give you weak mate, she gives you smart and strong human mate’-mum said with her warm smile.

Another day passed and Kate’s fever dropped that only means one thing, she gains her wolf. Her wolf will not appear till the next full moon when Kate will start getting some werewolf abilities. She will better hear, have a better sense of smell and better vision, and her wolf will be able to communicate with her. That also means that I got time till the next full moon to explain to Kate what will happen to her and also to tell her that the second full moon from today she will shift for the first time.

I was so tired that I couldn’t sleep for the last few days. I had been worried, did Kate will make it. Brandon come yesterday, but one of his looks on me was enough for him to backward and leave Kate’s room. I still couldn’t speak to him, as I still wasn’t sure if Kate will survive.

-‘Kate it’s me again, please love wake up, I need to see your smile, need hear your soft voice, please love wake up’-I whisper in her ear.

The doctor comes in to check on Kate. -‘Morning doc.’- I whisper with my head down and my eyes on Kate’s hand.

-‘morning Yann’- he replies with his cheerful smile.

-‘doc why she is not awake yet?' -I asked.-‘is she still in danger?’

-‘ no Yann she is much better and to be honest with you that was a very quick transformation, probably because of your blood’- the doc said to me. Few people wake up very quickly after their temperature drops others need more time. I am sure that by the end of today she will awake’- the doc assures me.

-‘thanks doc for everything' - I said with a faint smile

After the doc left I start staring at my mate. In my eyes she was perfect with her naturally full pink lips, her not-so-perfect nose, her full and big breasts (she only had her bra and panties on) doc asked to take her other clothes off when I brought her in. I move her blanket, a little down, and saw her stomach with a large and old scar. She must have had some surgery (note to myself... check her medical history-and yes I could do that without any problems). I didn’t want to push my luck as my self-control was on the edge and my stupid wolf Hades never helped say-‘mate with her and mark her now so she will be ours forever. '

‘ Hades, she is still unconscious! We will do that when the proper time will come. ’ - I keep telling him that

-‘wake up my mate, wake up. Do not ask me to wait for you any longer' - that were the last words which I remember I said to her before I closed my eyes and drift to sleep just lay next to her.

Kate’s POV

-‘what’s going on? Where am I? Did I die?- I tried to open my eyes, but they felt too heavy. I couldn’t move my right hand and I felt something heavy lying on my stomach. I also felt something cold and wet touching my left hand. I couldn’t remember anything after our walk at the riverside and forest. I tried harder and opened my left eye, but the bright light was making my vision blurry, so with a loud moan, I closed them again. Something or someone has moved next to me and the weight which I felt on my stomach decreased a little. ‘come on, you can do that. Open your dam eyes and check what’s going on!'- I shouted for myself in my mind.

And very slowly, my body started to respond to my commands. I manage to open my eyes. On my stomach was a hand, a big male one. On my left, I saw Hachiko’s wet nose and a little further Oscar’s big head. I had been so happy and I tried to call them, but my throat was dry as the Sahara desert. I felt body next to mine, but I couldn’t turn my head to my right, but sparks and safeness were going from my back through my spine and then I heard a loud groan and something move. All warmth which I felt when I wake up was disappearing. I was disappointed, but still curious who the hell laying with me in bed, not even in my bed and not in my room. That was a nice room with magnolia color walls. One of the walls had a French window which probably takes you outside. Another wall had a door probably to the bathroom. I lay on the king-size bed with white linen.

-‘Hello my love, you awake I am so happy’- someone speaks,

-‘who the hell is it and why called me his love? My husband died.’ That voice was deep and warm, was unfamiliar, but also I felt that I know them for all my life. -‘wait what the hell am I thinking. Who the hell is it and where the hell I am, but first things first.’

-‘water’- I spoke but that couldn’t be my voice this one was very husky like belonged to an old witch or old man who smokes 40 cigarettes a day,

-‘here my love drink. Your doctor’s on his way’- that voice speaks to me again.

Oh, water hm taste wonderful. I gulp all glass at once and tried to speak again.

-‘where am I? What’s happened?’- I wanted to ask something else, but the doors burst open and I saw a man in the white coat - ‘that must be my doctor’

-‘good morning Kate. How are you feeling? - he asked me with his big smile and started to check my vitals. -‘how do you know my name? Where am I and what’s happened?’- I asked.

-‘well Kate you had an accident’- doc started, but I cut him off

-‘accident, what accident in the f*****g forest!?’ - ' What squirrels pelted me with nuts?’- I tried to remember, but that was only a blank space in my mind. My dogs come closer to me like they felt my anxiety. I cuddle their heads and focused on the doc.

-‘no Kate, not squirrels something much bigger. The wolf's bite your leg’- doc told me and I quickly looked down, but that was no mark on my leg. They even looked better than normal.

-‘doc which leg? As there is no sign of them?’

-‘oh yes, that is another thing which I want to discuss with you, Kate. That wasn’t an ordinary wolf, it was a werewolf’

‘-like the one from the stories? Yeah right’- I started to laugh very hard-‘ doc with all respect, I don’t believe with such a thing, so you need to find a better excuse for me being here'

-‘Kate it’s all true’–doc looked at me and then at that mysterious person behind me

I just turn to check that person out and first what I saw was the most mesmerizing amber eyes which I have ever seen. I stared at them with my mouth open. Then I looked down for his perfect strong jawline, kissable lips, and his Greek God body. I know him but from where. Oh yes, I spoke with him before. He worked next to my office, I think, as an engineer. He stared at me too with little parted lips, which formed a big smile.

-‘do you like what you see?’-he asked. I shook my head and back, focusing on the doc.

-‘Kate there are more things which you need to know, but Yann will tell you them when the time will come' - doc said -‘I am glad that you better’

-‘ok doc stop this crap. When I can go home? You see, I got a lot of plans and places to visit.’ - I said to him and looked into his eyes

-‘I am not sure yet. Rest how much you can I come back later’- doc almost runs away from my room like he has been running for his life.

I turn around -‘Yann, right? Maybe you can tell me what the hell happened? As I want to go home'

-‘I will tell you everything, but you need to eat first. Do you need anything?’-he asked.

-‘yeah shower as I stink like a skunk’-I reply with a shadow of a small smile.

-‘do you need help?’. I looked at him like he grows two heads and I raised my eyebrows

-’ are you willing to help me?’- I asked a little confused

-‘oh no you're not ready for that. I was thinking about my mum’-he said with a smirk on his face.

-‘it’s ok I manage’- I reply.

-‘ok then. Someone will bring you some clean clothes as yours wasn’t good anymore and I will bring you some food’ - and he left.

Clothes no good and then I looked down. I only wear my bra and panties. OMG, nice move Kate.

Yann’s POV

I don’t know what she likes to eat I will give her what I like. She was looking so great and had not lost her composure when I mention helping her with the shower.

-‘Mum, can you leave some clean clothes for Kate on my bed? She is awake and take shower. I will grab some food for us and will be heading back. Can you also take care of Kate’s dogs?’ - I asked again through our mind-link.

- ‘on my way son’ -‘ she replies the same way

-‘Kate I brought you some..’-OMG!!! -Kate was standing next to a bed wrapped only with a towel. Easy Yann, do not freak her out, leave a tray on the table and leave the room. And that’s what I’ve done. I had been inhaling air very deep outside the door. Control yourself or you will lose her. You already love her now she needs time to fall for you. I run to the kitchen and grab orange juice.

- ' Yann acting very strange.' - Kate was thinking.' I can see that he is young, but not that young to not see a woman wrapped with a towel'. She was thinking when putting her clothes on. They were very simple, just some nice and soft lingerie, a white t-shirt and black jeans. Just when she finished put clothes on she could hear a light door knock.

-‘ come in’- she said

-‘Sorry I forgot orange juice-‘ I said when coming back into the room. She looked at the tray which already had two glasses with juice I follow Kate's sight, but did not say anything.

We eat in silence I brought us pancakes, and some whipped cream, some fruits, also bacon, toasts, and scrambled eggs. 'That was all which I liked how he knew?' - Kate asked herself. After we finished I took the tray away and said to Kate -‘ask for anything, I will truly answer all your questions, Kate’.
