“Is it that I'm not understanding what you're saying, or is it really what I'm thinking?” I asked again.
“Yes, like I was saying, someone had done this test before. I'm not supposed to be telling you this, but since we're at this point now, I really don't have a choice but to explain it to you.”
“Okay?” I said impatiently.
“So, the thing is, in this hospital, we have a place where we keep records of things like this, especially DNA results. So, I was going through the records, and I saw a file saved with my mom's name. I clicked on it, and it was a DNA test result,” he said.
“So, how sure are you that I'm the second person? Or if my sample was used at all?” I asked, still surprised.
“Here,” he said, turning the laptop towards me, and I saw my name written next to a sample
