1 Alpha 2 Mates

Chapter 13

Noah's POV

I was standing in front Rickman with my pack fighters surrounding me and his fighters surrounding him. He out numbered us. For every one of my men he had two of his. He just finished giving me an ultimatum. Either I hand my pack over willingly or I fight him to the death.

My wolf is already finding it hard to stay in but we both no he's in no position to fight. When fighting another wolf who's the same strength as you, you can't rely on your power, you have to rely on your strategy and skill. With my wolfs thoughts going haywire he wont be up for it.

I stare at him with a blank expression. "You come to my pack demanding I surrender. You have one of the biggest packs Rickman. Our alliance has been strong for centuries, you've had plenty of other times you could have taken over, why now? Why the sudden interest? It has to be more than my wolf being disoriented."

Amber who was behind her mate stepped forward "Simple. Because I want more people to own, more money to have, and more power to rule."

"Amber hush. You're getting what you asked as a birthday present so let me do the talking now" Rickman ordered.

This was all for a birthday present!? Was she not satisfied with her life so she wants to take ours to make hers a little more interesting? If she gets this she'll only want more. Bigger and better than the last.

I smell both Lily and Heather before I see them and my wolf panics. On the outside I have to remain cool while I feel like my insides are jumping.

My head snaps towards them. My heat rises and my lips curl.

"What the hell are you two doing here" I all but growl. 

They enter the small circle looking tense.

"Were here for you" Lily said, it was clear she was trying to hold back her nerves.

"Oh Heather, I believe you made me a promise" Amber laughed.

I keep my eyes focused on them "Go home."

"No." Heather said firmly.

"You can't be here it's dangerous. I don't want you guys seeing any of this" I say almost pleadingly. I look at Cal who looks at Jim and who in turn nods his head and starts walking to escort them back to the house.

"Jim get your hands off of us. Were not going anywhere."

I turn to order them back to the house but before I open my mouth Rickman speaks.

"I guess you've made your decision. It's a real shame that it has come to this but, all good things come to an end." he says before transforming into his wolf and attacks me.

Jim's POV

Noah and Rickman began fighting, I don't know how long Noah will be able to keep up but the second Cal and I think he's in trouble we'll step in. Alpha's don't like when other's join in on the fight but were not going to watch Noah get killed.

Heather and Lily were watching with worried eyes as Rickman grabbed a hold of Noah with his teeth and threw him. If this doesn't end well I don't want them to see this.

"Let's go Noah can't be distracted right now" I said pulling on their arm.

"I'm not leaving him here" Heather said fiercely.

"I'm not going either" Lily said pulling her arm out of my grip.

I rub my hand down my face "If everyone starts fighting I want both of you out of here as fast as you can. I also don't want you two  jumping in this fight to help Noah got it?"

Heather death glared me "You don't get to order me around I'm still your luna." I shake my head in frustration.

"You're going to be a dead luna if you don't listen" I say to her but she doesn't listen, she's to focused on the fight.

I turn to Lily but before I can say anything she raises her hand and a look of annoyance passes her face "Jim leave me alone."

"But-"

She turns and looks at me with wide angry eyes and mouth slightly open from her sharp wolf teeth.  Her and Heather has the same bone chilling death glares, only difference is that I know Heather will follow through with an attack.

I raise my hands backing away as she turns back to the fight. I hear a howl and look over to see Noah on top of Rickman biting into the back of his neck, trying to get to the front. They were both breathing heavy and were bloody.

We all watch as Noah turns Rickman onto his back so that his neck was exposed. We all watch as Noah bites down on his neck and begins to rip. What we didn't watch was when Amber turned into her wolf and charged Noah. We all transitioned into our wolves and began fighting to protect our people. It was chaotic.

Amber tackled Noah beside Rickman and Cal ripped her off before she could do anything. It was all a flash, an out of body experience. Noah quickly stood up looking around frantically and Rickman, who was practically half dead, finished his job. With the strength he had he bit his jaw down on Noah's front leg, causing Noah to hunch over just a bit, but that gave Rickman enough distance to reach up and rip out Noah's throat. Just as Noah hit the ground his eyes connected with Heather and then they dimmed as he went still.

No. No No No No No.

Everyone stopped fighting as they felt the power shift. The power our pack felt was first emptiness at the loss of our alpha and the loss of a powerful leader. Then we felt a different surge of power as a new alpha took over. The alpha who killed our alpha. I looked around as everyone began fighting their wolves to bow down to the new leader. Even I was having a hard time keeping my wolf in check. I will never bow to this alpha. Cal howls first and the rest of us howl to honor the loss of a pack member, friend, and alpha. After a few minutes we all quite down. 

Everyone turned their heads at the sound of a loud shriek. Lily was screaming at the top of her lungs, her hands clawing at her face and eyes wide with tears cascading down rapidly. I look for Heather and find her on her knees. 

Tears are falling but she's silent. Her lips are trembling but she's silent. Her eyes are flashing between her wolfs eyes and her regular eyes, amber and blue. I see rage and despair.

Their both in their clothes so I know they weren't involved in any fighting. I know that's about to change.

Heather crawls over to Noah's body and lays beside his limp wolf. Rickman tries to stand but stumbles back to the ground. Amber rushes over and whispers "Thank you for the birthday gift darling."

Cal, still in wolf form rushes over and starts mauling Amber's face.

"Cover him!" I order the fighters. Everyone is fighting again.

I look at Heather and Lily to get them to safety, that's what Noah would have wanted, but Heather runs over to Rickman in fast speed while Rickman was going to protect his mate. She wraps her arm around his neck and uses the other hand to shove her fingers in the bite wound that Noah had started. She held him in place firmly and her wild frantic eyes looked over to Lily.

"Lilian! Let us finish what Noah started!"

Lily stopped screaming and her eyes held Heather's for a fraction of a second. She charged over to Heather. Lily changed into her wolf and Heather half changed. She had hair sprouting from everywhere and her eyes were amber as she extended her teeth. They looked at each other and seemed to have some understanding before Heather sunk her teeth in one side of Rickmans neck and Lily sunk her teeth in the other side.

They both pulled back and ripped out chunks; they looked feral.

Everyone stopped again as they felt the power shift.

Lily and Heather both had the alpha status.
