"Where did you hide her? I know she's here!" Axel kept on insisting, looking for a crack in the walls or just a sight of Ezra anywhere around him. But instead he found the faces of some more confused men and Pedro as well.
"You must be insane. You look decent or else I'd have taken you for a mental patient. You don't seem okay," Pedro said, looking really concerned. Axel just stared at him, at a loss for words. The other men just laughed at his distress.
"I have to find her. I don't even know what you did to her, if she's even alive. Tell me where she is and I'll give you everything you need. Money? Shares? My property? Take it all.. just.. let her go," he said, drooping his head. It felt incredibly heavy and dizzy. He didn't know if he could go on any longer than that.
