Sym’s P.O.V.
“My name is Levi, I’m a druid. I sensed a great power diminishing and came to help.” Levi replied.
“A druid… look, you may have been able to trick her highness due to her lack of knowledge but everyone here knows druids have gone into extinction without guardian Kianda’s energy source to fuel them. So take my warning and leave now!”
“You are right, but not about everything.” Levi replied.
“And what’s that?”
“Though Kianda was the main source of power for druids making them loyal to her, she wasn’t the only source of power.” Levi replied
“Lies!”
“I have no reason to lie. My powers have always come from an equally powerful source, but much older.” Levi said
“Queen Kianda created your kind; there is no other source let alone an older one. You need to leave now or I’ll have your he-.”
“Sym wait, Mica would be dead right now if it weren’t for Levi, so we can’t just throw him out.” Tyde interrupted.
Tyde told us about what happened on their search for the spear of Osirin, and how Mica was her mate, but she had to break their bond to save him but something went wrong with the ritual, although their bond was severed he was still slipping back to the realm of the dead. Out of frustration and our absence she met Levi who was searching for Mica without knowing who or where he was.
Madam Ara and I arrived when Mica started showing signs of recovery now we’re all catching up. Not long after Mica was wide awake but had no recollection of dying or anything that followed. According to Levi it’s a side effect of the herb he used and explained it was the only thing that was strong enough to bring him back from such an ordeal.
Tyde’s P.O.V.
Usually my intuition has leaded me down the correct path but for some strange reason I feel conflicted about my decision. Although Levi revived Mica from the botched ritual I performed in an attempt to save his life, I’m getting an odd sensation I need to keep close watch on him, which of course is a red flag for me.
When Levi asked me to gather the items he said he needed for Mica, he was obviously lying because when I came back with them Mica was already treated, and I’m not sure how I feel about it. Could he have asked me to get them to spear me the details of how he revived him or was it for some unscrupulous reason?
I was about to ask him about it when I saw Mica react, then Levi instantly elevated him. Before I was able to celebrate the fact that Mica could possibly live, I heard Sym’s voice fuming with anger.
“Who the hell are you?”
Now that Mica is awake I feel so relieved, I’m not sure how I feel about him not remembering the ordeal he’s been through, but for now I’m just happy he is OK. Levi came in the nick of time and for that I am grateful, but Sym’s reaction has me wondering if it’s all too good to be true. Madam Ara seems a bit too unopinionated as well which hasn’t happened since I’ve met her.
After Sym ordered Levi to leave I felt the need to intervene. Though his methods leave room for questions, Levi hasn’t actually given me a valid reason to not trust him and if it weren’t for him Mica would be dead right now. I have to give him a chance to prove himself.
“Sym wait, Mica would be dead right now if it wasn’t for Levi, so we can’t just throw him out.” I interrupted.
“Your highness there hasn’t been a wondering druid around for over a century. How can we know for sure he isn’t one of Leviathans’ minions who have been lurking around waiting for an opportunity to disguise himself as a Good Samaritan?” Sym questioned.
“Your concerns are just Sym, however, we can’t disregard the good he’s done, especially without solid proof. For now, if it makes you comfortable, you can keep an eye on him until he leaves.” I suggested.
“When exactly are you planning on leaving “druid”? Sym asked
“I’ll stay for as long as Mica needs my help.” Levi replied
“He’s awake now so you can leave now, and we’ll handle things from here.” Sym hissed back
“Sym that’s enough!”
“My apologies you highness.” Sym said
Not long after Coralia walked into the room completely oblivious to what has transpired.
“Madam Ara, Coralia could we speak in private?”

“What’s wrong Tyde?” Coralia asked
“I need both your help, I can’t put my finger on it but something isn’t right. Could you check my family archive and see what you can find on Goshen and also find out what other sources could fuel a druid’s powers other than my mother.”
“OK, of course. But Tyde you aren’t the childish girl who went on the quest. Did something happen that you haven’t told us about and who or what is Goshen?” Coralia asked
“Now I can’t say, but I promise as soon as I have enough information I’ll explain everything. But please help me with this while I tend to Mica, I can’t leave him alone.”
“We understand, go tend to Mica and keep Sym from killing Levi while we gather the information you need.” Madam Ara advised before directing Coralia out of the room and started to fill her in on the events that happened in her absence.

Levi’s P.O.V.
Great this is just my luck; I’ve taken care of one parasite only to encounter another. However, I’ve already started this game, so I have to finish it and I know my reward will be sweet in the end. I can already taste it.

“My lady what has you alone yet again?”
“Levi you startled me.” Tyde replied
“My apologies my lady, it was not my intention.”
“That’s fine, I was just looking at my Kingdom and thinking of how little I know about myself and my people. I’m thinking about how much everyone has suffered for the past century and what I can do to fix things.” She replied
“You are burdened by the weight that all rulers have to carry. Your forefathers all had guidance from the people before them, yet you are here among the greatest. You must be doing something right.”
“You flatter me Levi, however I haven’t even started my journey and already I am faced with the possibility of losing people I’ve grown to care about. I lost my mate the same day I found out he was my mate and I fear for his life. I also have to face the fact that the council doesn’t want me to rule and I might just prove them right if things don’t turn around.” She replied
“You will do great thing my lady, I can feel it. And if it makes you feel better I will stay offer any help I can.”
“You don’t have to do that for me. There are more people out there that need your help. I would feel guilty if I kept you from saving them.” Tyde replied
“Trust me Mica needs me now and until he is fully recovered I am bound to him. So you are stuck with me for a while depending on his recovery speed.”
“In that case you are welcomed to stay and if I need you help with anything I’ll let you know.” Tyde replied.
