Perfect Mistake

Football game

A few weeks have past since my meeting with Leo’s parents and mine. Nothing special has happened since then it’s been the same. Leo has been having away games and I’ve been studying for exams.

“ Hey Noa can you believe we are 18 weeks pregnant.” Kate said

“ Honestly no I’m just excited to find out the s*x of the babies tomorrow.”

“ me too. What do you want?”

“ Either two girls or a boy and a girl. Leo says as long as their healthy he does not care and I agree with him. How about you?”

“ It honestly doesn’t matter. All the matters is our kids will grow up to be best friends.”

“ I completely agree.”

“Girls the game starts in two hours and we are supposed to get there an hour before so get ready.” Lily yells

Today is my first time going to Leo’s football game. I’m excited yet nervous. The only people who know Leo is the father of my child is the football team and they don’t really care.

My outfit for the football game is Leo’s jersey black leggings and my black sparkly UGGs. Kate is wearing the same thing as me except she is wearing Tysons jersey and her light brown UGGs.

“ I’m almost ready I just need to clean my glasses.” I yell

When I’m done cleaning my glasses I head downstairs and the girls are waiting for me in the foyer.

“ who’s car are we taking?”

“ Noa’s. She has the most room.”Alex says

My car is a dark blue Mercedes G-Class. When we make it to the stadium we have an hour before the game starts but Leo told me to get there earlier.

We get out the car and there is absolutely nowhere to park and we arrived early. People are out tailgating and drinking beers. The girls and I head to the gate and Leo said to give my name so I did and we head in. We are sitting on the first row above where our team is sitting.

We have been there for a good minute when I see the team rush out on to the field and start practicing . Leo’s number is twelve so I’ve been looking for his minder but I can’t fond him.

Then I spot him talking to the coach about something. Other people are starting to come into the stadium so I decide not to tell his name. If he is allowed to come over he will so I just turn to the girls and we start talking.

“ Hey Noa” I hear Leo yell

I look to see Leo standing in front of the stands. I walk to wear he is at without coming off the stands and I feel eyes are on me.

“ Hey Leo what’s up?”

“ nothing just wanting to do our handshake before the game starts.”

Leo decided we need a handshake. This handshake not only included me but our unborn babies. At the end of the handshake he gives a little fist pound to my stomach. When we are done doing our handshake I wish him luck and head back to sit with the girls.

During halftime Alex and I head towards to confession to get us some snacks. After we get some snacks and drinks a pair of girls walk up to me.

“ Are you Leo Bradford’s girlfriend?” One of the girls asked

“ Yes.” I said and walked away

“ That was just weird.” Alex said

I nodded my head and we went back to our seats. By the end of the game we win by seven more points.

I texted Leo that the girls and I are headed back home and I will see him later.

When we get in I’m exhausted. I know I have an early doctors appointment tomorrow so I decided to go to sleep after I ate dinner.

Halfway through dinner the boys walk in the house. I kiss Leo and I tell him I’m headed to bed.

When I wake up Leo’s arms are wrapped around me.

“ Leo wake up.”

“ sweetheart what time is it?”

“ it’s 7:30am but our doctors appointment is at nine.”

Me and Leo hop in the shower and get ready together. I’m wearing black sweatsuit with a white shirt. My hair is in a messy bun and I’m wearing white Nikes.

Alex and Lily are both going to our doctors appointment today since we will be finding out the gender. The doctor will hand Lily the gender of Kate’s baby in an envelope and Alex will get my envelope. Tomorrow were are having our gender reveal party. Lily and Alex are in charge of it.. I’m really excited for everything.

When we walk into the doctors office we give our names and wait for our names to be called. Once we are in the room doctor Hill comes inn and tells us about how everything is going. She squid my blood pressure was a little high and that it’s was probably occurred because of stress.

“Okay ladies last time we started with Noa so Kate your first.”

During the ultrasound doctor Hill is talking to Tyson and Kate and asking them what their preference is for the s*x of their baby is. They both squad they don’t care. When doctor Hill was done with their ultrasound she gave Lily the envelope and then I switched places with Kate. Doctor Hill did the sander thing with me as she did with Kate.

“ baby B is being a little shy. Tap your left side.”

I did that and I guess baby B moved a little which allowed doctor Hill to get the s*x of the baby. When she was done she handed the envelope to Alex and we headed back home.
