24th of January, 2014 West Blaire High, 08:02 She walked down the hallway unnoticed as usual. She had her textbooks squeezed tightly upon her breasts as she headed towards her locker. Her blonde, curly hair had been covered by an over worn beanie and her sparkly blue eyes were hidden behind her glasses. She had braces to fix her teeth, she was chubby and way too pale. She was "fresh meat" for the jocks and the cheerleaders. She moved towards her locker, but before she could even think of putting in her locker combination, Julie was shoved hard against her locker, her books kissing the floor. The sound of their laughters kicked her in the gut and soon, the "ooh" and "aaaww" chimed in. She knelt down to pick her books, but as she went down, she couldn"t get back up. She was tired. Julie was tired of it all, but what was she to do? nothing. It wasn"t the bullying alone that took a toll on her, things were not fine at home too. She as sick of the constant embarrassment in school, sick of having an abusive father, an alcoholic as a mother, sick of having a s*x addict as a sister, and she was definitely sick of having to clean up her family"s mess. Things were bad, really bad, and Julie did not need the constant bullying in her life. What she needed was a confidant, someone to talk to and someone that would listen. So, she stayed down. She couldn"t stand up and she couldn"t stop the tears from falling. She could never stop them from falling, because she wasn"t strong enough. She couldn"t stop her dad from abusing her and her sister both sexually and physically, She wasn"t strong enough. She couldn"t stop her mom from turning to drugs and alcohol, because she wasn"t strong enough. As bad as she wanted it, she couldn"t stop breathing. Or could she? Was she strong enough? She stood up.
