We landed on the rocky ground with a thud, and a groan of pain escaped my lips as my vision tried to adjust to what was around me.
The sky was pink, the clouds were purple, the stars were shining too.
My knees were resting on the soft, flower-covered grass. In front of me stretched a valley that seemed to have no end, I could see a river flowing, the blue water clear, so much so that it seemed unnatural. In the distance there was also a forest and the whole thing seemed uninhabited.
"Welcome home, my queen," said the god behind me.
I turned my head to look at him, my tears still dried up on my cheeks and I found myself running a hand over them to remove the last remnants.
"Where are we?" I asked hoarsely.
