Staring Blankly
It's a typical day for me, waking up late staring blankly at the window and afterward doing my daily routine, which is sipping coffee. My day would not be complete if I did not sip a coffee. Yes, I am addicted to it at least. Anyways, I have had a stressful week and I am yet to have a stressful weekend ahead. I don't know if I am going to survive, but I have to do what I am going to do or else I am out.
Honestly, I have plans to go somewhere. I jot down the places that I want to go but I haven't decided yet because I'm short financially. I have to prioritize the bills first or else my head will blow. I go everywhere else and relax for a day or two afterward, thinking of what to do about the bills hanging and waiting to be paid off.
I have this kind of headache, a sort of if I overthink a thing, which obviously gives me a bad day. My head will turn upside down and I don't want it to happen because I have already experienced it before. God knows how I hated it. Every time I think of my past downside, I vomit. I recall everything, just like a snap of a finger.
I'm likely a home buddy person but sometimes I break it and get out of my shell. I'm the kind of adventurous person. I easily get bored with something. I don't like to go or follow a traditional way. It makes me stupid. I'd rather do the things that I want and love most. In that way, I will feel satisfied and productive.
I love to write. I don't know if writing is my passion, nevertheless, I wrote something, something that I felt inside. Well, it's one of the reasons also that I need to go overseas, find my passion, and know if writing is what I want or if it's just that I like the idea of it.
One of my bucket list countries that I want to go to is the United Kingdom. Ever since I was a child I have always wanted to visit the country and to know the country historically. No doubt, the United Kingdom is rich in history, from fashion to expressing literature, politics, and theater, and creating profound books that are carved into our hearts.
Shakespeare is one of them. No doubt he is a well-known poetic person and at the same time known to be romantically involved with a young woman whom he loved most.
I am hooked up to their castles, the medieval way of clothes, and women transforming into fashionable ladies. Their beauty regimen is also a top must. I have heard women before have a strict diet and beauty regimen to follow in order for them to look young and tasteful to men.
I have great respect for the first woman who became a queen, and I want to know why she became one and what makes her the ideal queen. Watching movies that focus on history is not enough for me, because it leaves me hanging. I had a lot of questions that needed research.
How I wish I could visit the country one of these days. I still need to settle everything before I fly over there. I have a hectic schedule this week. I have to draft a proposal and make my team win.
Working in an advertising company is a lot of work, especially if you are a team leader. You need to do what you need to do because your subordinates expect you to be excellent at your craft. Ideally, they tend to idolize you and be inspired because you don't want to fail. For you, failing is not part of your agenda. We do everything to reach that expectation of the higher-ups. But I expected you to be there standing and fighting to win.
I love my team though, but I need to overhaul and have a vacation leave. And maybe when I do, I might venture into something new that tickles my intellectuality and do something beyond.
Sometimes when I am alone, I usually think about what life is ahead. I always imagine myself in a scene where everyone is happy, happy go lucky, doing their own thing that makes them happy too.
Anyways, reality check, life is not like that. I do know that one. I know for sure that everyone needs to experience hardship to know its weakness and strength. Some made it out, some may not. I may say I am one of the luckiest people to get out of that fence, but sometimes I felt depressed.
Life is life, right? Whatever we do and for whom we do, it reflects what kind of person we are. Though most don't understand what we've been through, what's important is that we know how to deal with it.
The drama subdued and I am back to reality, I need to finish my draft before I go to work. My team is working day and night searching and thinking for the best strategic method to get the huge client that we target. Hopefully, before the month's end, we can start to make a new advertisement. A new product that will be out on the market. I am keen to win and go beyond my abilities because it challenges me a lot.
