THIRD POV. Thunder rolled over Moonveil territory like a warning of what was to come as Alpha Gareth stood outside the pack house, Laura beside him, their eyes fixed on the dark line of trees. It wasn’t just the sound now. Something was moving in there. Not the easy, gliding motion of a wolf. Not even the erratic skitter of a rogue. This was heavier. Bigger.
