The next two weeks the witches helped me practice, adding a member every day to the fold. The different kinds of magic from them helped as well to adjust. Since the magic I would be defending from would be completely different. Today Derek calls the pack together to explain to them what is going on. We are waiting on the porch for everyone to gather. “Hello everyone. I have called you here today to address a serious matter with you. We are under attack, When I was taken a couple of weeks ago I killed 6 witches. Their coven will come and retaliate against their members. We have been warned by our witch friends that their coven exists of over 150 members. That means 150 dark witches will be knocking on our door soon. The witches and I have come to an understanding to stop them together. The witches have been trying for decades to get rid of this specific coven, they hope with our help they will finally succeed. They have been training your Luna to block the magic out. That is what you have been seeing when they were out front. Now, when the battle happens she will need to protect every single one of you. I need your cooperation in helping her in training. I am asking you to be here every day at 10 A.M. to assist her in training. The patrols will keep going like usual. Keep a check on your schedule closely, I have increased the patrols as of today” he tells the crowd. “Yes, Alpha” everyone agrees. The warriors go inside and take a look at their schedule. The rest stays and waits for me to give them orders on what to do and how to help. Derek kisses me on my forehead. “Good luck” he whispers and walks inside. “Thanks” I call after him. “All right, what we are going to do is that the witches who are here, are going to attack us with their magic. I am going to block that magic, or at least try to. When I miss and they hit you it will hurt but will not kill you. If you are hurt badly let me know so I can heal you.” I tell them and everyone agrees, the witches start immediately and everyone scatters and I chuckle. I focus on blocking out the magic. The warriors come outside and half of them run off for their patrols the other half stay. Brad tells them how it works and they nod and join the fray. A lot of people are hit and I growl, I step closer into the group and that seems to work better, I focus on a lot of separate bubbles. I have thought of making one big area but that was a lot more exhausting turned out later. Soon I am tiring and magic is getting through and I fall to a knee. “GET UP. THIS IS YOUR PACK YOU DON’T HAVE TIME TO BE TIRED. THEY WILL GO AFTER YOU AND YOUR PACK. YOU WILL LOSE PEOPLE” Elizabeth yells at me and that angers me. I get up and an idea pops up in my head and I smirk. She smiles, instead of around all the people I imagine the shield around the group of witches. Their faces fall, they wave their hands and then their heads snap to me, and smiles break out. “DAMN, why didn’t we think of that sooner!” Elizabeth screeches and hugs me tightly. I chuckle “No, idea. Good thing you pissed me off” I say and chuckle, she joins and so does everyone else. “Anyone who needs some healing Joo Joo?” I ask. Two women step forward and lift their shirt “ouch” I say and they nod. I put my hands on them and heal them. “Thank you,” they tell me and walk away with a wave. “That is less tiring isn’t it,” she asks me after looking me over “It is,” I say and nod. “All right, you are all dismissed. Rest, be here tomorrow” she says and I nod at them to do as she says. “Tomorrow we will try something new. Rest, you are going to need it” she says and smiles. I nod “all right. See you tomorrow” I say and wave while walking inside. The rest of the day I spend on the living room couch, dozing off now and then. Suddenly I feel like I am flying and I open my eyes only to see that Derek is carrying me. I crawl into him while he carries me to our room. “Sleep” he whispers and I do.

The next morning I wake up well-rested and I smile. Derek is still sleeping and I get an idea. I slowly pull the blankets down and make his underwear disappear ‘God, that is so handy’ Acalia says to me ‘it is’ I say and grin back at her. He chuckles and throws me on my back “Had a good sleep huh?” he asks and I nod. He kisses my neck and slowly lowers down on my body. He reaches my core not long after and eats me out vigorously. Pack members were getting hurt and I was getting tired. I even fell on my knees, Elizabeth scolded me badly making me angry and then this idea popped up in my head. Why protect the members if I can just neutralize them? And I did” I say smirking, he laughs “Why didn’t you think of that before?” he asks “no idea, I am kinda bummed out about that as well,” I say and smile. He chuckles, the rest of the morning we snuggle close and just talk about strategies and what he has done to protect us and all of that. When the time hits 9.30 we take a shower together and get dressed. I walk outside and see a huge group of people, I think about 50 standing together and talking “There she is” Elizabeth beams. Pack members start arriving as well “Hey, what is this?” she asks. “Well, since the attack is soon anyway. We decided to move the coven here temporarily, this will be your training today, all of us” she says grinning and I swallow “All right, going to throw me into the deep huh” I say and she chuckles “It has worked so far” she says and I sigh shaking my head. The pack members have arrived, this time some warriors are looking lost. I walk over to them “You weren’t here yesterday?” I ask them “no, we had patrol yesterday,” one of them says and I nod “Basically, the witches are attacking us, you can dodge and all. I will try to block their magic” I explain and they nod “All right” the guy answers me and I make my way back to the middle. “Ready?” Elizabeth asks and I arch an eyebrow “Since when do you care?” I ask her and she shrugs. And then the attacks start, I imagine a numbing wall towards the magic and then wrapping around them. They mumble amongst themselves and the magic disappears, Elizabeth claps her hands. And all the witches look at me with stunned faces. “Good job,” she says excitedly and I smile at her. “do you think you need to practice that or do you have it under control?” she asks “it’s fairly easy,” I tell her and she nods “All right, then I am going to prepare accommodations for our covens,” she says and I nod “Thank you, everyone. You are dismissed” I tell them “No, they’re not,” Derek says from the porch. I frown and make my way over to him. “Hi,” he says and smiles. “I saw what happened yesterday, you were taken by surprise and you shattered and panicked. I want everyone to train with the warriors who are free today, Train them in the basics of how to hold formation and to attack. Learn them defense moves so they can protect themselves. I do not expect you to fight, but the situation might arise that you have no choice. I want you to have at least a chance to defend yourselves” Derek explains and they nod. “Yes, Alpha” the warriors reply and get to it immediately “you know, I never learned how to fight,” I say to Derek “Go ahead,” he says and smiles. “Brad, help your Luna out,” Derek says and then walks in. “So, what do you need help with this time?” he asks “I never learned how to fight,” I tell him and he smirks “oh, I get to beat up our Luna,” he says at me with a big smile. The rest of the day is spent Brad beating the crap out of me, yelling at me, steering me, and complimenting me. At the end of the day, I am dead tired and crawl up the stairs. Arms wrap around me and I am lifted “Tired?” he asks and I nod laying my head on Derek’s shoulder “How come you are always here when I need you” I say smiling “The perks of being an alpha and your mate” he says chuckling. He lays me down in bed, my body is tired but myself not yet. He crawls in and I snuggle into him. “I am happy you got your spirit back. When Elizabeth told us I was scared there for a bit how you would get up again. but she whipped you good” he says and I hear the smile in his voice “yeah, and I have something to fight for,” I tell him “do tell,” he says. I look up at him “well, you, Brad, Chad, Uncle Johnny, Arun, Julia, And our future child” I say and smile at him. His smile grows big “Future child huh?” he asks and I nod “I want it to be safe for him or her. Yes, I was scared at first. But then I realized I need to fight for the people I love. To make it safe for them” I tell him and he nods “I’m glad you realized that” he says and kisses the tip of my nose, I chuckle “Me too” I say and yawn. “Sleep love. Brad wore you out” he whispers and I nod, closing my eyes, I fall asleep quickly.
