CHAPTER 111 When Georgiana came round she found she was back in the cellar, bound and gagged. She couldn’t move, her leg was agony and her face was stinging from the recent battering. Her hands were sticky with blood and searing with pain. She turned her head to the side and saw Wyatt sitting in the corner. “And here we are,” he smirked. “You, me, a gun and nothing to live for.” Georgiana gulped. Terror ripped through her veins. She knew he was more than capable of shooting her, if it came to it. “It won’t be long now,” Wyatt said. He had a distant look in his eyes. She closed her eyes again and tried desperately to compose herself. Suddenly she heard the unmistakable sound of a helicopter in the distance, and the screaming of sirens drawing ever closer.
