“Get out of my way,” Dan screamed. “f*****g move.”
Reporters and television cameras were blocking the entrance and jostling for position as Dan and Sebastian arrived at the hospital. They were met by a police liaison officer who took them directly to a private room where they waited for news on Georgiana’s condition.
Dan had spoken to the surgeon on the telephone before they had taken her into the operating theatre, but they still didn’t know the true extent of the damage, or even if she would survive. He had described her injuries as life-threatening.
