They passed by the river one more time, making sure to get enough to drink again and as they went on, Auris suggested that they gather fruits on their way back. For all their delays and trials they managed to make it back quickly enough, only one other group had returned, they were seated a little ways away from the Captain, laughs and jokes passed around. It was evident from their attitude that they had had nothing but good news to give to the Captain.
