Confession

I heard a knock on my door. I immediately stood up and checked who it was and it was Skylia. She looks different her body is covered with an aura of light her voice also changed it is much more soothing
She hugged me tight
"Ramon you gotta help me!" She said crying
Then a demon came out of Skylia's room. It looked at us with raging eyes. It took me a while to notice that the demon is also Vermilion. He slowly approaches us
I hide Skylia at my back and I stand my ground. Vermilion then charged straight at me and suddenly I woke up. I was breathing and I am sweating
"It was just a dream" I said as I pull my hair
I looked at the time and it was already six in the evening. I went to the bathroom and freshened up. I look at the mirror
"That was weird. I just saw Skylia glowing and Vermilion as a demon. I don't know why I had a dream like that" I said to my reflection
After I freshen up I prepared dinner. While cooking I checked my Instaglam account and I have a friend requests. I checked it out and I don't even know these people I haven't seen them either
After I'm done cooking a grabbed a tray and bring the food to the terrace. I have my dinner there as I wait for Skylia to show up. Hours passed and still no sign of her. I am getting sleepy so I decided to head back to my bedroom
As soon as I lie down I immediately fall asleep
"Get away from her" Vermilion said as he charges straight at me
I shoved Skylia inside my room and immediately closed the door. Vermilion came crashing at me so I slammed to the wall and fall to the floor
Vermilion holds me in the collar and lifts me up
"You puny mountain man you better go back to where you came from if you know what's best for you" he said in a demonic voice
Skylia opens the door and hugs Vermilion
"That's enough Vermilion I will marry you okay just spare him his life" Skylia said crying
Vermilion slams me to the ground then grabs hold of Skylia. They started walking away
"Skylia no!" I shouted
Then slowly my eyesight started to fade
"Big brother wake up you're going to be late" my alarm clock wailing and it keeps on going
"Skylia!" I shouted
Then tears started flowing out my eyes. I shut my alarm off and immediately went to the bathroom
"Everything is okay, it's only a dream. Skylia won't marry that tug. She said that she don't want a relationship now I am sure off it" I said to my reflection
I wipe my tears away and rinse my face. I finally went back to my senses. I start preparing for our lunch and later on take a bath and went on my way
I entered the building and as always the twins are there. They immediately hugged me the moment I approach them
"Have you heard the news Ramon?"
"Skylia is engaged" Darryl Lyn informed me
"Say what! No I haven't heard about that" I shouted
"Haven't you opened your Instaglam account? It's going viral" Cherry Lyn said
I immediately opened my account and I showed the post. They aren't kidding everything they said is true. I was completely devastated. I ran outside and grabbed my bike. I started pedaling and I don't care where I am heading.
Then a car crashed right through me.
"Beep beep beep" a sound produced by a machine
I slowly regained my consciousness. I slightly opened my eyes and I saw a needle attached to my hands and I have these tube in my mouth
"Where am I" I said but I am too weak to move
Then someone stood up and immediately approached me
"You're finally awake" a soothing voice said
My eyesight is getting clearer and I saw a lovely woman in front of me
"Who are you and what I am doing here" I asked
"You are riding your bike recklessly so we ran you over"
"But don't worry now isn't your time you still have a long way to go"
"Don't worry about the bill we are going to pay for it"
I remember that face I saw her in a photo once but I don't know which one
"How long was I out?" I asked
"Three days" she said
I tried getting up but she pinned me back down
"You're not fully recovered yet. I suggest that you rest for a little more longer" she said
Suddenly my rage fades I don't know why but this lady knows how to calm me down
"Can I go now I still have to find Skylia and tell her something" I begged
"Tell me what?" A voice said as she enters my room
I immediately looked at the doorway and it was really her. I started crying. Skylia then sat right besides me
"Now I am here, what is it you want to tell me?" She asked
"I better get going" the lady said as she walk towards the door
"Thanks Ma" Skylia said
"What that's Skylia's mother so that means she's Celestina no wonder her face looks familiar" a thought in my mind
Celestina then exits the room
"Skylia I thought that you don't want a romantic relationship. What's with you getting engaged all of a sudden?" I asked
"Yeah I don't want a romantic relationship especially getting married I am too young for that" she said like it was nothing
"So why are you engaged I was shock the moment I saw that post" I said
"I too was shock" she said
"... ... you seriously don't know you're getting married? Are you joking?" I really didn't get it
"I was just informed the moment I called my relatives even Mom know nothing about it"
"Now I am stuck in an arranged marriage" she said like she doesn't worry at all
"Aren't you worried?" I asked
"Nope, as long as you're there I don't need to worry"
"You're going to help me right?" She asked
"Of course anything for you" I said
"Even stop my wedding?" She asked
I was silenced and begun thinking
"Am I really going to stop her wedding?"
"What will happen to me and my family after?"
"Will I even walk out of that mess alive?" Questions running inside my mind
"You don't need to worry, the moment I saw you I know you're going to be my savior."
"I know it's tough for you because you think that you're not gonna make it out alive or what will happen to your family after but Ramon I am asking for the last time will you help me. If you don't want to it's okay I will honor your decision" she said with teary eyes
"How in the world does these people now what I am thinking" I shouted in my mind
I held her hand and look into her eyes
"You know Skylia even if you don't ask me that question I will still stop your wedding"
"I know it sounds foolish but if you truly love someone you will do whatever it takes just to be with her"
"You know Skylia the moment I saw you get out of your car I know you are the one I am searching."
"The way you smile truly brightens up my day."
"Your hair as blue as the sky makes me want to see what lies tomorrow"
"Your eyes that sparkle like the stars in the night soothes me to sleep"
"Skylia I love you and I don't want you to get married unless that guy is me" I confessed to her
She pulled me close then we kissed.
I never kissed a woman's lips before so this is what it feels like. It's soft and warm. Every time we kiss I feel this current flowing inside me and suddenly I feel hot. I hold her waist and pulled her close
Then the door started creaking and looked like some was entering. We immediately stopped and started to look at the doorway.
"Are you two finished talking?" Sounded like Celestina
"Yes Mom you can come in now" Skylia said
"So how did it go?" Celestina asked with a huge smile on her face
Skylia and I we're clueless
Then Celestina made a hand gesture as if two people were kissing. Skylia and I look at the opposite side then we blushed
"Tell me Ramon is my daughter a good kisser?" Celestina asked
I didn't answer but my mind is shouting "hell yeah"
"Skylia can you leave me and Ramon for awhile we need to discuss something" Celestina said
Skylia immediately went outside
"Ramon I know you have a kind heart because Skylia told me great things about you. The moment she entered my room you were the first thing that came out of her mouth.
"Skylia loves you Ramon so please cherish that. So I am asking you a huge favor to love her back. I know that I am being too selfish but as a mother I only want best for my daughter"
"I want her to marry the man she loves" Celestina said as she looks me in the eyes
"We will be going know" Celestina said
