I take a look on the full length mirror in the passage. I must say I look hot also considering the fact that I am meeting with that pest he must see me popping and also the gym is doing wonders to my already appealing body. I call Trevor to inform him about the time I think I'll be around UJ. Shame poor thing he is scared of facing my dad but it has to be done. If someone could ask me how I feel about him having a kid honestly I am a happy aunt despite his mistake. Like I always say I love kids.

I take my bags to the car it's 7:30 so I still got plenty of time. I also want to get a biltong hamper for my first love. He loves it. I can eat breakfast b I am lazy to do dishes afterwards and I can't leave them cause I'll be gone till Monday, I am going to drive from home to work. My phone rings as I am about to sit down. What does Travis want now. Rolling my eyes

"Mr Patton" I answer smiling

"You are bored so early" He says chuckling. And I giggle

"Hi babe how are you this morning" I ask dramatically

"Hi my love I am good and how are you" He answers

"I am good. How did the doctor's appointment go yesterday?" I ask. He was there for check up for his leg.

"It went well and are you ready to go?" He asks

"Yes I am just to first pass through the mall before hitting the road" I say

"Okay can we catch breakfast? It's on me" He says. I tell him I can't cause I still have to meet up with Dan and have to fetch Trevor at res.

"Ow okay. Safe travels then." He says. His voice changed. I say my goodbyes and hang up.

The way Travis and I spent weekends together the past few months I am pretty sure I am going to feel the gap tomorrow, maybe that's why he also wanted to do breakfast. I decide to just leave now to avoid traffic. On my way I get a call from Azania.

"B i t c h." I answer and she laughs

"Yes hoe how are you" She says.

"I am good. What's up this morning I can smell s*x over the phone" I answer . She laughs so loud

"b***h you did not. Atleast I am getting a the real one unlike the plastic you are feeding your coochie" she answer. I laugh

"b***h please it's doing the same work" I say. It's been tough. She laughs

"Is it warm? Does it cuddle you afterwards?" She asks.

"I dont care about that. I can't stand a man in my bed either way so" I answer

"You have serious issues wena. Why haven't you try finding some Mark replacement" she asks.

"b***h you crazy. I feel like Travis is closing the channels for me cause we normally hang together at the clubs or bar and another thing I never get chance to galavant at the mall" I answer

"Then he needs to lay it down to you. He can't be doing that. You need service wena my love" she says.

"No and after that how am I going to look at him.. I think that's my worst nightmare otherwise I would have jumped on him. Had he been on a different department." I answer

"Ow damn girl so you have been undressing the poor guy. You nasty b***h for how long?" She asks. I laugh Azania is crazy and she knows a lot about me

"A couple of months. He's just irresistible" I tell and she giggles

" problems. So how are you going to pass that stage cause it needs to be attended to before it pass" She asks

"I also don't know my Friend But it will pass it's just a phase" I answer.

"Mhm if you say so but I still say dance on him and forget about it. I am sure he can do the same" She says. I laugh. Azania thinks this is just a kiss

"Dude I am scared of attachment after that" I answer

"Yeah you can say that again. You remember that guy who kept on calling and be like 'so where am I supposed to find someone who will ride me like you did Litha'" she says. I've seen it all

"Don't even remind me about him. Even Mark was getting too attached. And this pest I am going to see he was obsessed of my coochie" I say. She laughs.

We continue talking about everything and she hang up. I continue with my drive and music. Ten minutes later I get to the mall. I do a bit of shopping, I get my dad biltong and things that my nieces and nephews love. As soon as I am done I puts the trolley to my car and put everything inside. I call Dan to tell him we meeting at Mugg n Bean. I go there and wait for him

"Hi mam are you ready for me to take your order?' The waiter asks...

"Hi. May I please have bottomless hot chocolate." I say and he walks away. I browse through my phone and the waiter gets back with the hot chocolate. "Thank you"

I see Dan walking in and looking around. He finally sees me and walks to the table. I am not standing up for hugs, that's one thing for sure. He greets and sit down. You can just tell he was expecting me to ok stand up and hug him.

"You good?" He asks. He looks nervous

"I am good. And how are you" I ask sipping my hot chocolate

"I am trying" He says and the waiter comes to take his order and I just add breakfast.

"How have you been and how has life been treating you?" He asks.

"I've been doing great hey and life's been awesome. And your side?" I ask.

"I can't complain. I am living and breathing." He says. Too much pity party

"Owh I see and how's your wife. Any kids?" I ask

"They're good. I have 2 kids, 4 and 2 years." He says

"I thought you'll say 8 and 10" I say and he chuckles

"And that would mean I way cheated on you" he says

"It's not like you didn't" I say with a smile

"Come on I didn't by the way can we not talk about the past" he says. Our order arrives and I ask for a refill of my drink

"Owh okay but people normally move on after apologies given" I say. He has never said it to me or call the past years

"Hence I am here today. I am sorry Talitha. I should have been a man and told you what was going on at that time. I am sorry I broke you the way you were, trust me it was not my intention. I fumble pretty bad" He says. It's genuine

"I forgave you a long time ago just that at some point I wanted to hear you say it. I mean all this years I asked myself if I was not worthy of love" I say and he cuts me before I continue

"You are worthy of all the love Talitha. I am sorry I was a jerk tat made it impossible for you to believe that. I want to fix things Talitha" He says and pulls my hand into his and looks me deep into the windows of my soul

"Look Talitha I know what I did is beyond forgiveness but may you please find it in you to forgive me." Dan says brushing my hand. I'm so weak right now I can't even pull my hand back

"Trust me Dan I have forgiven you and I hold nothing against you. I wish you well like everyone in this world." I say he keeps on brushing my hand which does a number on me

"The real reason I am here Litha is for us to fix things. I know it's not going to be something than we can work around in just a day but I'm patient and I'll wait for you" He says. I manage to pull my hand

"Dan we can'...." I say and he cuts me off

"Yes we can cupcake. Please just give me this one last chance and I'll make it worth it. I miss us. I miss you the most. You still driving me crazy Litha. I can't even focus at times. You are the reason I let go of my wife because I couldn't keep on lying to her and say I am in love with her while my heart is somewhere with you" He says. I swallow hard. Did he divorce??

"It doesn't change the fact that you left me for her Dan meaning she was worth our relationship. And don't tell me you had no choice I loved you. What reason did I give for you to cheat on me with her?" I say. I feel like I'm getting emotional

"I'm sorry. I know there were times we would fight about her" He says. Atleast he remembers

"Look I can't promise you a relationship we can just be acquaintances or just strangers" I say. I honestly can't do that to myself

Travis just came out of a meeting with a client at Melrose Arc. His phone rings

" what do you have for me" He answers his call

"It's not looking good man" Rio says as he is looking at Talitha hand in hand with Dan

"What do you mean it's not good?" He asks

"They were holding hands and talking. What did you say she is to you again" Rio asks.

"She's my sister" Travis says clenching his jaws

"I know you are lying to me. Just get your girl if she is or leave her if she's cheating on you but this spying game is not the one. If you love her tell her man or this fool is going to win her over and you'll regret. He looks like he knows her soft buttons and they are working. Get your line straight Patton" Rio says.

"Fish up everything you can see man. I'll call you later" Travis says

"Okay man. I'll brief you later" Rio says before hanging up

"Dammit Talitha" Travis says as he gets in the car and throws everything in the car.

He decides to check up on his mother since she's travelling to Joburg. Ariana decided to change her mind about going to her grandmother's place for holidays so the gran is coming this side. The perks of being the only grandchild

"My queen" Travis says as her mother answers

"My baby I just got to the airport" she states

"Okay. I will fetch you when you get to the airport then." Travis says

I ask Travis to take a train to my work cause I have something to do. After our conversation with Dan I decided to sit at Mugg n Bean and order breakfast for my boss. I am taking it to the office. Dan agreed for us to be acquaintances. I can't give him a relationship that he ruined at first.

My take away arrives and I drive to work. I find Melody walking to her car with Brian. I just greet with a smile and walk in. I greet Lala the new receptionist.

I just let myself in the office and Ooops!! I should have knocked. I find Travis seating on the table with Primrose between his legs. They were just looking into each other.

"Sorry" I say turning to leave but Travis moves Primrose to the side and walks to me

"Shouldn't you be home?" He asks looking at me from head to toe. I am that today even my make up is on point

"I brought you breakfast since you asked for one" I say.

"Oh thank you" He says. He is not even acknowledging Primrose

"Okay bye then" I say walking to put the breakfast on top of the table and walk always.

From today onwards you learn to knock Talitha. The voice. Yeah right I know I learnt. I wait for Trevor in my office. There's really nothing I am doing just sitting and waiting for his call.
