HER 18TH BIRTHDAY

IN KELLY’S HOUSE,

Kelly was still on the bed when she remembered what a strange man gave to her. The things that happened in the garage never left her memory especially that man that appeared all of a sudden immediately Alex drove out.

A man was standing there smiling at her and the man was wearing a blue leather jacket and he was also pleasing to the eyes. When Kelly saw him, he started talking to her. " was there anything wrong with this place Why do good looking men keep popping out of no where? Kelly didn’t dare to move closer to him, all she should do was to look around to be sure that they were no CCTV camera. She sighted one but it wasn’t facing her. She was so relieved that the camera didn’t video what had happened early because it would be embarrassing if anyone should see that she was called unattractive. They would believe because at that point, she was a mess. Seeing that she was free from the camera, she then decided to pay attention to the man standing close to her.

" you were so outrageous when talking to him Kelly, you didn’t fear offering your self to that scary stranger but now you are afraid of even walking close to me”

She mumbled, shaking her head, as though she was now convinced that she was crazy.

The man took a step forward towards Kelly but then Kelly took a step backward.

" you don’t need to be scared, i am not here to hurt you”

Kelly you are such a fool, why don’t you beat him up”? She said within her self.

“Why are you standing like a statue?” He asked. " anyway, i have something to give you”

Those words rang continuously in her ears as she realizes that the blue leather jacket man actually gave her something . She rushed to one of her purse where she had kept it and then brought it out. She gazed at it countless times but couldn’t do it. She contemplated if she was doing the right thing, but then, she kept it back inside her purse and went straight to freshen up. She wouldn’t be going to school for now because they had announced that there will be no school because of the strike.

Kelly knew that it was her birthday but did not do anything about it, she was just so angry at her self and wished she could change what was going to happen in the future.

Minutes later, she finished bathing, when she left the bathroom, she realized that her phone had been ringing. when she checked, it was her best friend calling. She knew that she was calling to wish her a happy birthday as usual and also asked her if she saw the birthday message.

Kelly dressed up and went to the dinning to have breakfast when she saw everyone singing a happy birthday song to her. She was so happy and was so surprised because Mercy was already in her house too with a birthday present

KELLY: oh my God, i am so happy, thank you so much.

They all hugged her and then ate the delicious meal prepared by Kelly’s grand mother.

MERCY: grandma, grandpa, i will be taking Kelly out today and she will be spending a night at my place.

Her grandparents did not refuse because they knew that Kelly would love to go and at least she could enjoy life before she is gone. They accepted and after the meal, the two girls left.

Meanwhile Isaac and his men were still on the way, they haven’t gotten to their destination yet but the good part of it was that, they were getting close.

They kept on moving and stopping only when they want to rest a little, that was why their journey wasn’t that far like they thought.

Mushard who was in the dungeon of country OV became their prisoner, the king never believed all that he had told him so that’s why he made Mushard to be his prisoner.

At some point, Isaac separated from them and went to accomplish his own mission while Mush took charge immediately he left.

The queen and her followers also continued their journey only at night and during the day, They would find a place, an opened place to rest and with the help of their queen casting different kind of spells but at some point, her strength started failing her.

WITCH 1: (crying)what do we tell Felicia? We were together but now we can’t find her.

WITCH 3: (crying) i think someone must have taking her. Maybe the bad witches have taking her.

WITCH 4:(crying) they must have used their hearing ability to over hear our discussions about this mission.

WITCH 5: (crying) now we have no choice but to go back to country OW.

It was hard to see the wizard cry but in this case, it was beyond them.

Those days, a wizard was seen and called a witch not until scientist told them that they were to be called wizard not witch.

In country OW, the hand of the queen was never calm, instead she was worried about her queen. She wished that she could do something to keep her safe but her wish wasn’t enough. At some points, she began to feel strange. At that point, she became more scared that something bad must have happened to the queen.

Kelly and Mercy enjoyed their day, Mercy made sure that Kelly never regretted coming with her. She made Kelly dress up like a princess but Kelly never agreed to put on some makeup.

Mercy took her to a pleasure park where Kelly played different kind of games and she did so many other activities.

Meanwhile, as Kelly were having fun, her mind never left what Mr blue leather jacket gave her. She decided not to call him because she felt that she doesn’t care about the stranger that called her unattractive. She just moved on but she never threw away the number of Mr blue leather jacket. She kept the number safe even as years passes by.
