Ryans pov: Reaching the church where our alpha and others have their meetings at, I swing open the big wooden oak doors, all eyes turn toward me, Owen jumping first, "Beta Ryan what the hell is going on, we are in a meeting." Owen gestures around the table, "You, me outside now." is all I could mustered out, Owen looks at me confused, "Ryan, we will discuss what ever it is that is upsetting you when I'm done here." Owen says, I lose it, "THE ONLY THING UPSETTING ME IS YOU, YOU SORRY PIECE OF SHIT." I yell so loudly. "What the f**k is your problem?" Owen says back angirly. "Ryan son, let's go outside, as present Beta of this pack and your father let's step outside before you regret something." my father coming toward me. "Don't touch me." I say angirly at my father, Owen who is mad now, bangs his hands on the table, staring at me, "This meeting is over, meet back here at 12 sharp tomorrow." Owen says. "I don't think so, Mr. Pierce I'm only here for a few more days I want to get this marriage contract signed and sealed, time is running out." Alpha Land says as he leaving from his chair, "OUT NOW," I screamed, Land looks between Owen and I with a questionly look, then walks out of the church doors, "Remember" Land looking at Owen with darkness, "everything goes, as well as members if so." looking from Owen to me, Huffing loudly trying keep Ceaser down, "I want this," I say to him. "Ok Ryan whatever it is, that I have done, let's talk about it, but I will not have you come in here, and interrupt my meeting. I cut off the mindlink, growling once more, Owen's face went stiff and meeting my eyes once again, I'm looking at Ajax's, "YOU DO NOT SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT EVER AGAIN!! Owen yells at me, picking up a broke piece of chair leg, he swings it hard at me, I quickly leap Owen runs full speed at me and I go flying into the oak doors, breaking them open with my back, I feel myself hitting every step on the way down when I finally smacked the ground hard, I lay there for a second, trying not to black out, I hear both Owens and my father's voices begging for us to stop, pack members forming around cause they feel the stress coming from the king and Beta, "Get up, you want a fight, let's fight pretty boy" I hear Owen taunting me as he walking closer to me. "please son, remember who y'all are, remember yall are bonded for-ever, y'all are brothers." Mr Pierce husky voice, as active King I obey y'all to stop now." Owen yells loudly, I turned into my human self, jumping up I get a running start and tackle Owen to the ground, I punch him hard in the face, he spits blood out and smirks at me, he uses his strength and throws me off him, he turns and kicks me straight in the stomach, I double over in thats when I felt his knee hitting my face so hard I fall backwards, rookie mistake, he jumps on and punches me over and over, again, "STOP NOW!" I barely hear a women's voice, I could feel nothing, I wasn't even sure if he was still hitting me, I open my eyes the best I could, I could barley see anything everything was blurry, I felt electricity shoot up my arm, I hear that sweet voice, "Please my king, please y'all have to stop fighting, if you kill him, she dies to." Layla.. then darkness took over.

Owens pov: After I left the hospital, seeing Layla laying there lifeless my head racing with anger, "Ajax, I'm so confused?" I say to myself, I was headed to that stupid meeting that Alpha Land so desperately wanted, my father following me, "Owen wait son," he says a little out of breath. I stop walking and waited till he caught up, he looks at me and huffs slowly, "Owen listen," "Save it pops, I'm not in the mood for a letchure, they don't need me in there, I'm going to this meeting and then go from there ok." I say with attitude, "Boy, you may be next King Alpha, but you don't talk to your father with that tone., now Land's meeting is about the marriage contract, you marry Lauren, then our 2 packs will join each other, Lauren will be your Luna Queen, Ryan and Mindi, your royal beta's, along with Lands guard for Lauren, y'all will wed and mark each other, and Lauren will be crown Luna, understood, also son word is around that there's a women here under your care, Land only knows that she came in with Ryan and you, as far as I know no-one suspects anything between y'all, just don't be surprise if he brings it up." My dad says sadly. "She has to go when she wakes up, I have to reject her" I whisper, "No son" my father quickly says, "our pack will stay safer this way, I can't be with her at all times dad, she will need protection 24/7, once this pack and all the neighboring packs would find out who she was, danger from everywhere would come here, putting pups and elders in harm's way, I can't do that to my pack, not for one girl." "Enough talking", after Ryan makes it clear he's mad that im going to reject Layla, I get why he is but he gonna learn his place as well, Ajax refused to fight with Ceaser so I had to fight my human self, hearing Ryan scream and yell at me, I lost all emotions, all my senses, I got angry and everything went black thinking of land and his threats, Ryan causing a scene, Layla, I stop hitting Ryan when I faintly heard our witch Yammy's voice yelling to stop, my father jerked me away from Ryan, able to see clear now I saw Ryan laying there bloody and unconscious, "Owen, Owen can you hear me." my father shaking me, I look at him, then back at Ryan, hurt washes over me, I call to my knees shaking Ryan, "Brother please wake up, I'm sorry, Ryan wake up." I say to him, he lays there. "I'll get him to the hospital right away." Ryans father says, 2 pack members pick Ryan up, Mindi stands and politely bows her head with sadness, "I'm sorry." I mouthed her, which I truly am. "What did you say?" I turn to Yammy, "Can we go some where private." She says gesturing at all the werewolves that's gathered, we turn to walk back into the church, I glance over to Land, him and his men propped up on a tree, laughing at the situation that just happen, I follow Yammy and my father, into the now destroyed meeting room, I look around, more sadness washes over me, I hear my father kicking and moving stuff out of our way. "Owen, I'm dispointed in both if you, y'all are a team, and today y'all showed weakness in our pack." My father stands there looking at me. I don't say nothing, Yammy clearing her throat, "We are not sure, but Layla started showing signs of heavy breathing then soon she was jerking, her head swinging back and fourth, she was choking on her blood, then we heard the commotion, her heart rate was dropping, around the same time that well you was beating Ryan in the face, we think because of the blood transfusion, everything that ryan feels pain, and such she feels, until his blood wears away from her, whatever happens to Ryan, happens to her." Yammy stops talking. finding a none broken chair, I sit down, "How long will it take till his blood wears off?" I finally ask. "I'm not sure, could be days, weeks, maybe longer now" Yammy says. Frustration crosses over me, "I once again, have shown that I don't belong with this girl, she gets hurt everywhere she goes, I can't even help her." talking out loud, Yammy stays quiet, her sad look gives that away, my father looking distance, no-one can give words because I feel that they understand what I'm getting at, "I'm going to check on Ryan, then your mother and I have to discuss some things," my father says and walks out, Yammy following, after they leave, I'm stuck in my own silence, Ajax- "You've really made a mess this time." Owen-"Glad, you finally coming around ajax." Ajax- no Owen, I'm not going anywhere, in fact it's time that you stand down, and let a real Alpha run what is his." Owen- what you mean, you can't come out unless I let you, I rule you. Ajax- You have broken every rule of being a wolf, you humans think y'all can rule us wolves, well Owen you can't, I have had enough, the fighting the Russians, Barron, All of it, and lastly I'm done with you, it's your fault once again, that my mate is lying there in a hospital dying because you simply can't stay long enough to help her out, just our presence would strengthen her, and one more thing you and no-one else will hurt her not while I'm leading, I'm taking over, and I swear to you Owen, no-one tells Ajax what to do. I felt the link cut off, I feel Ajax taking over, "Please ajax don't do this, please, I can't let you do this" falling to my knees, Ajax pushing harder, I feel myself being forced to change, ajax taking over my mind and body, suddenly I go limp, and fall to the floor, closing my eyes, I get sucked into darkness.

Layla's pov: falling in and out of sleep, I hear voices Everytime, but tiredness would consume me, I fall right back to sleep, then every so often I get this sensation feeling wash over, I feel funny in my stomach and down below, dreaming of some graphic images of Owen, that carried on seem like Everytime I wake up, but this time I was waking up, I felt angry, then shortly after I feel a small ounce of pain, then it got worse, and then the pain was so much, I think I let out a scream, I feel hands on me, "It's okay Layla, we are working on trying to figure out what is happening to you" is what I hear, "Oh my god Mindi are you ok dear," a voice yelled out. "it's Ryan I can feel his pain, someone is hurting him." I hear Mindi voice, Ryan I need to get to Ryan, he's in trouble, I finally get the strength to open my eyes, it's so bright, "Ryan", I whisper out, "She's awake" I hear a voice, another wave of pain hit me, this time I felt my whole face, being beaten seemed like, Screaming is all I could do, "Make it stop,please " I begged out. "Yammy her hear rate dropping, I think she feels everything Ryan is feeling, we have to stop it now." I hear a strong women's voice, "Mindi let's go, we have to stop the fighting." a women says, I hear the women running away, "please some one help me." I whisper out, Soon I felt warm small hands touch my head, "It's ok sweetheart, where gonna get you back to yourself, just stay strong young one." I felt the cold liquid run threw my body, feeling numbness take over, I lay there, then a few minutes later, I hear noises "put him there beside Layla," I turn my head slowly, next to me I see my bloody beaten brother barley breathing, I begin to panick, what if Barron found me, he's out there now probably killing everyone in his way, I have to do something, trying to move which is very hard considering the fact I'm numb as s**t, I make noises, a women looks over at me, shes beautiful, slender tall women, "Shh, sweet girl, everything is ok, just stay calm this is your brother he's gonna be ok, just be still." I stare at her, "Layla, Layla, its me Mindi, shake your head if you know what I'm saying, I shook my head yes, she smiles big, "That's good, listen your in a hospital, at the royal pack, Owen and Ryan got into a fight, but their both going to be ok, if you can be strong and stay awake that would be amazing." I shake my head again, what the hell am I doing here, I thought I told Ryan, I didn't want to come here, for now I lay there waiting to feel something or have someone tell me something but it's just silence, I hear small sobs every once in awhile, figuring it's Mindi, then after hours Ryan makes a small movement, I watch as he starts moving his legs, then his arms, I smile to myself, hes ok, then he makes a grunt noise, "Ryan love, are you ok? I was so worried. please love, next time let's not get violent." Mindi says out loud, I watch as he takes his finger and runs it down Mindi's soak wet face from her tears, their eyes just staring hard at one another, "I'm not going anywhere darling." My brothers husky voice speaks. I make a small noise, not trying to ruin a moment, I was just seeing if I could talk yet, but nada. "Oh my god Layla, your awake, thank God, help me up Mindi let me get to her," my brother trying desperately to get to me, I shake my head no, I don't want him to get up, his face is purple and swollen, "Ryan you need to stay laying down, you can heal faster that way," huffing he looks at his mate, then back at me, I give a small smile to him, (I think) he looks at me and sighs loudly, "Well least your awake, and I'm here beside you, thank you for not dying little sister." he smirks while I roll my eyes, but then I get a serious look which is intended for someone to start explaing, Ryan looks to Mindi, she nods and kisses Ryan, walks over and pats my hand, "I'll come back and check on you two in a few." I look back at mindi who walking out the door, then my full attention is back on Ryan, he sighs, "I got upset and threatened Owen we started fighting, it was about you, and other reasons, I'm sorry I almost got you killed, when we got you here, we had to a emergency blood transfusion, you got shot with some poision, I had to give you my blood, I guess for a while you felt everything I felt." He stops talking then blushes, why is he blushing, I don't understand. I raise my eyebrows to show I dont get it, Ryan shakes his head, "Nevermind, just know I'm sorry for putting you in harm's way, I didn't know." I nod my head, "Tanwyn, you there." odd, looking over at Ryan, I try to ask where Owen was, but he done fell fast asleep, 30 minutes later, Mindi comes in, good, I get her attention, trying to ask for paper, but she just looks confused, thinking I look back up to her, I twirl my wrist in circle to show I want to write something, she quickly catches on, she searching around for paper and pen, she walks out and a few moments later she comes back with pen and paper, I try to write Owens name she catches on, "No-one has seen him since the church, one member said he came out and went straight into the woods." I look away sadly. "Layla, alot has blown up, there's visitors here now that is causing alot of frustration and hate around here, he will come around." Mindi says, Ryan wakes back up, confusion written on his face, "I have to go," he says out loud, "No sir, you are to stay right here, doc orders" Mindi says with sass. Ryan looks straight at me, "Ajax has taken over,"

At that moment Owen comes thru the doors, Naked, Ryan trying to get up his anger rising,, I can only see Owens back, and perfectly round ass in my sight, stop Layla, I can see Mindi knelt down, "What have you done wolf," I hear Ryans voice, "Give owen back, let him be the man he thinks he is, let him break her heart, see how much of a man he really is." Break who's heart I wonder, mine? Owen growls loudly, I made a sound and suddenly Owen tenses up, he slowly turns around, I stare from his feet, slowly gazing upward, then I see his man hood, god o mighty, do they really hang down that long, finally taking my eyes away, I make my way up, I look up and see not Owens blue eyes, but those dark electricfyin blue eyes, that hold so much darkness

He walks over and bends down right in my face, I breath his musky smell that's intensifying, he smirks then suddenly I felt the liquid run threw my veins once again, my eyes go big, no no no don't put me to sleep, I look over to see Ryan holding the meds and with a sorry look on his face, I look back to Owen-Ajax, tears filling my eyes, "It's ok little one, sleep for now, when you rise again, I promise I will explain it all to you." I hear him as I'm entering the darkness once again.
