Chapter 17Derek and Jonah were waiting for them outside the bedroom. Two more minor obstacles between them and bed. Jesse knew they needed to talk, make their apologies, but he just wanted them to go home so he could curl around Emma and Gideon and sleep for at least a day. He couldn’t remember the last time he had been so exhausted. But, to be fair, he couldn’t remember much of anything at that point. His brain was already shutting down.
