Chapter 4 The ooze of Jason's blood went to Nicholas's nostrils, and Jason's blood on his nose made his veins weak, before he realises himself Jason is up from the floor. Limping with one hand covering the place he was struck by Nicholas, he tried healing the spot but it was very painful, leading to him falling to the floor and passing out. Nicholas watches as Jason struggles and eventually passed out, he stood still, observing his body on the floor without making a move. An idea struck his mind immediately and he smirked, going forward to Jason. "Don't touch him, Nich. I will take care of him," Peterson's voice echoed behind him, he walked past Nicholas to Jason's body. He observed him for some minutes before drawing out his sword, Nicholas held his shoulder immediately, preventing him from striking. "Don't! I have a better idea, take him with you," he said to him and he nodded in agreement. Peterson knows better than to go contrary to Nicholas's orders, he retracted his sword and returned it to its shield. Wine is out of Craine town with Colleen and the two other group members who she realized that her brother wasn't with them, she paused along the track, causing the others to stop as well. "Where is Jason?" She asked no one in particular, looking behind them. "He didn't follow us," The red hair among them spoke. "s**t! We have to go back and help him, we can't go back without Jason," Wine exclaimed, turning back to the direction they were coming from. "Wait Wine, you can't go. Let's give him some time, there must be a reason he wanted us to leave without him," Colleen explained. "What do you think could be the reason?" Wine questioned, stopping in her track. "Let's go back for tonight, we will find Jason in the morning," Colleen assured, leading Wine back to their way home. Wine isn't satisfied with Colleen's suggestion but she doesn't have the strength to start arguing, she has also sustained a lot of injuries because of the fight. Something isn't right, she can feel it deep within her but she can't wrap her hands around the exact feeling, it all boils down to Jason, she is worried about her brother. Getting to Scar town, Colleen decided to walk Wine safely back to the house while the other two find their way back to their respective homes. Nicholas ordered Peterson to take Jason to their captive room and lock him up for the night, he did just that. Jason is still unconscious, he sat on the chair with his legs and hands tied up with ropes, and his head hung over the arm of the chair. The room is dark, more like a secret room. Nicholas walked into the dark cell room to see Jason still unconscious, he circled him, studying his appearance and everything about him. His fine face caught his attention, he extended his hand to remove the strands of hair that were all over his face. He arranged them back, giving him a perfect view of Jason's face. He watched his lips in awe, not minding the bruises on his face, he looks cute. Nicholas stepped back with a sigh, we walked out of the room and locked it behind him. He moves to his room after giving out instructions to Peterson and some of the house securities. Jason struggled as he finally opened his eyes to the sun rays entering the cell room through a very high window. He tried raising his hand to his but couldn't, that's when it dawns on him that he's in somewhere strange. The memories of last night rush into his brain, he sighs in frustration and defeat, and tears of not being able to defend his people run down his cheeks. His legs are tied as well, leaving him in a stay-still position. At this very moment, he needed to know how his family and people are doing in Scar town and it hurt him that he can do nothing to remedy the situation. Losing a first fight as a pack leader is the most painful thing. And not just that, being captured by the opponent pack is the greatest of all the bad feelings. The door cracked open, bringing Jason back to his current reality. He watched as the person walks in without a smile on his face, he is certain that he was the leader of pack Wagons, the one that challenged him to give up the fight, the same person he fought with. Of course, the person that defeated and is now holding him hostage. Jason couldn't picture his face last night, but his incredible height is still the same as last night. Nicholas smirks at the look on Jason's face, he wakes up very early to check up on him. He feels so fulfilled to see him awake and lost like a little sheep that's being held hostage. He enjoys this kind of reaction from all of his captives. But instead of the frightful look that his captives always exhibit, the one in front of him marvels at him. Nicholas wonders why he is still maintaining his calm self. "I told you to back up, prince charming. Welcome to Craine town," Nicholas spoke, settling down in an empty chair in front of Jason. Jason smiled at him, he doesn't want to give the satisfaction of seeing himself defeated. "What do you want from me?" He inquired with a sigh. "Very simple. But before then, I must commend your effort," he said, stressing the last part to purposely teased Jason. Jason couldn't help but notice his firmly built muscles again, the next thing that caught his attention is his eyes and eyebrows, the green and brown mixture of his eyes is rare. Looking at him, he imagines what his wolf nature will look like. "Do I look too pretty?" Nicholas snapped his hand at his face, causing Jason to blink. "You're worst than a devil. A devil is never pretty," Jason said with a grin. Nicholas fumes at his words, with his fist folded in absolute anger, he raises his hand to punch Jason in the jaw but Jason is quick enough to avert his attack, leading him to punch the hard surface of the chair. Peterson ran in because of the noise he heard from the cell room to see Nicholas fuming. "Take him to the judgment room, now!" He commanded Peterson before storming out of the room.
