Chapter 5 In the town of Craine, the judgment room is a place for severe punishment. Only captives who have committed the highest crime are taken to the judgment room, and none has ever left the room the same. Some died of too much torture while those who can bear the torture comes out disfigured and deformed for life. Jason's eyes lighted in amusement as Peterson drags him into the dark tunnel where it feels like it was a space, a space he cannot see. A ray of light shines through a hole where Jason can't place a source of where it's coming from. He is met with different kinds of arms, ranging from swords, knives, chains, and different levels of handcuffs. He marvels at the level of wickedness that could be carried out in the room he is in. Peterson pushed Jason to a chair, a chair that was secured with chains to the floor. He had handcuffs on his both hands and legs. Jason sigh at his current position and tries not to fight his oppressor. A figure appears before him, even in the dark space he knows his greatest enemy. The one that has held him in this current position, he sighs as he watches Nicholas approaching him. Nicholas smirks at the sight of helpless Jason, he drew nearer to him, gazing at him straight in his dark blue eyes. "I told you this wasn't going to be easy," he declared victoriously with a round of laughter. "You coward, why don't you untie me, and let's half this free and fair battle?" Jason chuckles, trying to suppress his anger. Nicholas howls at Jason's words, his dark brown eyes glowing as one could clearly see his wolf nature. Jason's eyes glow as well, he is trying to control himself as the two wolves are now challenging themselves. Nicholas held Jason by the neck as his fangs grew longer, piercing into his skin, blood gushing out. The chains are broken, and Jason growls louder leading to the bashing in of Peterson who was outside the dark judgment room. Raising a wooden stool to Jason's head, he hit him hard. Nicholas is brought back to human form when Jason falls to the floor unconscious. "Are you alright?" He rushed to the bleeding Nicholas, helping him to his feet while taking a look at the bits and marks caused by Jason. Nicholas stomps out of the room without uttering a word to Peterson, Peterson follows behind closely. It took Nicholas a second to heal all his wounds and have a grip on himself. Meanwhile, Albert Brooks is on a mission to Scar town. With his friend, Alex, they are planning to go undercover to leak out a secret about his brother Nicholas to pack Foon, which will lead to the downfall and destruction of his stepbrother, Nicholas. After regaining himself and still angered by the challenge thrown to him by Jason, Nicholas wonders what makes Jason different from all their previous captives. He came out with a perfect plan to make him succumb. ******* In Scar town, Wine is still very restless and consumed by the fact that his brother has been captured by pack Wagons. She knows that town Craine is up to no good concerning them. She vents her anger as she strikes the punching bag with all the energy in her. She's holding herself guilty for the capturing of Jason and can't bring herself to disclose this to their mother. She brushes her red hair from entering her eyes as she takes in a deep breath, slumping down in a chair in their personal training room. It's a fight room, where Jason and her were trained on the necessary fighting skills by their mother. This used to be their father's favorite place in the house, according to the mother, this is where she also engaged in fighting practice with their father. This place holds a lot of memories for Wine, she couldn't hold back her tears, they fall freely as she tries to suppress her emotions. "What's going on Wine? Where is Jason?" Wine jerked out of her trance at her mother's voice. She wipe her face before turning to face her with a little forced smile. "Jason is cool Mum. He is just on a mission to protect Scar town. You know he's now the newly appointed leader and alpha in pack Foon," Wine stated, giving her mother a peck on both cheeks which her mother reciprocated by giving her a quick hug. "Then why are you so moody? Are you missing him already?" Mrs. Lock teased her daughter who is now hiding her face. "Common, let's practice!" Mrs. Lock drew out a sword, positioning herself for a battle with her daughter, Wine. ******* Jason came alive after some hours of passing out. He awoke to see himself covered in blood, with so much pain as he tries to lift a muscle. But, a wolf will always be a wolf, right? He healed up his wounds and within a blink, he is fine. He felt weak due to so much stress and hunger, he hasn't eaten since he was captured by pack Wagons. He sighs, realizing how miserable and helpless his family and the entire Scar town would be in his absence. He has never imagined a day like this, not in his entire life. He also imagined what his father would have said if he was still alive. The dark room is open and his worst enemy steps in, this time with no single smile on his face. Nicholas walks up to Jason with a pre-planned and thought-after plan. "I have a deal for you. A very interesting one, and I want you to be wise and go to the point because there's no way out of this," he said with his stern face, not looking Jason in the eye. "Here is it," he pushed the document in a paper form to Jason. Jason's jaw drops as he read, clears his eyes, and looks from Nicholas to the paper once again. "Choose between remaining in Craine town as your slave and my people's lives?" Jason exclaimed, dropping the paper with his blue eyes changing color as they burn in anger. "You either sign the deal or have yourself and the entire Scar town killed before sunset tomorrow," Nicholas smirks victoriously before walking out of the room, leaving Jason to wake up from his nightmares.
