My Mystery Luna

Adam POV

It was a new day and I knew I had finally found my Luna. Her name was Athena, now I just had to actually find where she lived at. I had a feeling she was Human, judging by her scent. Then again she could be a wolf who has not shifted yet or she has shifted very few times. Most wolves don't shift till their eighteenth birthday. I had hoped to find her she came pretty far out though for only being a possible human. I knew that much because she has smells on her as if she was from a farm close by, but as my father told me "never judge a book by its cover." by George Eliot.

I began to get frustrated, because I knew I was going to have problems tracking her down. Just judging her scent that I was able to pick up, I knew I was going to have to track her down on foot possibly. I reminded myself and my wolf Shane to calm down. It will be ok if we find her Shane. As I contemplated what to have for breakfast, I recalled my dad having a map on the wall in the office of everything placed in a one hundred mile radius from here in each direction. After finishing getting around about an hour later I was ready to go on an adventure to find my Luna.

I left my Beta Joe in charge for the day and told him to mind link me or text me if I was to far out of range if he needed me. With the map off the wall in my hands and silently thanking my father I made my way to my truck and drove to the first further out place on the map. Unfortunately when I got there I just knew she wasn't there due to the smell of a musty dusty smell that filled my nose. It was so intoxicating, that it overwhelmed my senses. It was abandoned for a years maybe a little longer. I decided to mark down the property as abandoned, so I could look into expanding our property possibly if I could.

I decided to check the next place that was still pretty far out from the property, but not as far as the first one I checked. I decided with that I would checked one more place for the day since the drive was so long. I drove a few more miles before I found a pathway to the next property I wanted to look at. When I finally found someone who owned the place I parked my truck and walked the rest of the pathway. I talked with the family in hopes of finding her only to end up leaving disappointed, sad, and frustrated. On the walk back to my truck I could hear my wolf whimpering and I could feel his sadness and that his ears were folded down.

I felt his tears begin to well up inside myself and my wolf. He felt defeated, but knew she had to be close by. I could feel it in my soul, I knew for damn sure my wolf could feel it. I couldn't help console Shane. I had three more properties to search, but wit this feeling I wanted to stop. Shane encouraged me to look as he felt my hope dwindling.

We decided to move on to the next one with no luck at all. When we got their it was abandoned for years like the other one and the smell filled our noses. I was ready to be done, but I wanted to keep going on for Shane. I did not want him to be sad, I wanted him to have his other half just as much as I wanted mine. I took a deep breath before I marked and x down on the map again and made my way towards my truck. I got in the truck and laid my head back on the head rest in frustration.

I headed home calling it a day while I hoped that a hot shower, some good food, and some rest with the start of the new day would help. It felt like hours for the drive home it was nice to take a shower. When I was done got in my pajamas, I went down stairs and found everything to make a quick and easy dinner for the night. When I was done with dinner I went to my room ready to lay down. I decided to lay down with my favorite book. As I read for maybe two or three hours before I started to doze off.

I felt my head jerk up and I decided to put a book mark in and before I knew it I was out for the night. That night the moon goddess came to me and told me my mate was close, but it would be a small time consuming adventure that I must travel down to find my Luna. My Luna would be special I have to take care of her. She would be my match, my Queen, my other half to stand the ground when needed. I couldn't wait to check the other three places to find her. I knew she was my mate from first sight.

The moon goddess had plans for us, but no one ever knew what those plans entail with. I laid their after putting my book up and of course I couldn't fall asleep, it seemed like when I was only reading my book I could fall asleep. I tossed and turned for about half the night until I finally decided to turn on the TV. Scooby Doo also being my favorite I decided to put it on hopefully it would help me go to sleep. That for sure as h*** was not going to happen any time soon. I thought about Athena again and I had to find her for my sanity's sake.

I finally fell asleep around 3 a.m. and my mind danced with visions on my beautiful mate walking down the isle in a beautiful white dress with her father walking her to me. She had a beautiful bouquet of red and white roses. I hope she loves roses just as much as I did. Either way she is my mate and I know I will love her forever and ever no matter what. I don't care if we have differences, what matter the most to me is we love each other for who we are. I really hoped wit all my mind, heart, soul that she would accept me.

I don't know what I would do if I could't have her in my life. Surely she will accept me, as we are soul mates bonded by the moon goddess and love. My mind had wondered so far I didn't even realize I had started to cry in my sleep till I woke up and saw the tear stained soaked pillow when I woke up. I sat their looking at the soaking wet pillow for at least another five to ten minutes. I felt a chill going down my spine, and I decided to get up and start the day even though I had only slept for about 3 hours. I went into my closet and found one of my Omega's who was putting away my clothes.

She stopped when she saw me walk in. She averted her eyes and spoke softly "I brought you more laundry. I am sorry for bothering you Alpha." The omega said. You are not in trouble Maria thank you for bringing me clothes the rest of my laundry. I got super busy yesterday searching for my Luna that I forgot about them. I need all the help I can get until our Luna gets here.

I am going to have some breakfast and go see if I can find her today and hopefully she will be here with in a week. She lives close by on a farm. I do however need my beta Joe if you can have him meet me in my office. With that the omega left quickly with a smile on her face letting me know she would get him. I was still exhausted so I felt it might be a good idea to take a small nap before trying to find her. I headed off for my office and breakfast was their for Beta Joe and for me thanks to Maria.

She was a sweet girl and planned everything out. When I looked at the trays she had our names on them and I began to dig in because I was hungry and I was tired. A few minutes later Beta Joe came knocking on the door and I waved him in and he ate with me. I was looking at the map and I eliminated all the further ones out. I was hoping I only had three places to check, but we would see when I started my search. This search is going to be a great search I just hope I find her in time.
