I woke feeling refreshed, then slightly embarrassed after remembering I ripped my corset off, while I was half asleep. Then I remembered his proclamation to make my body feel things it’s never felt, it sent a shiver down my spine.

I rolled over and giggled, and decided to jump on the bed and dance around. My mate, I can’t believe I have a mate. I know we have that nutcase to deal with but I refuse to focus on the negative right now. It’s all I’ve done but he’s here now and I want him.

We want him, I bet Roman is just as amazing as Ezra is, ugh I can’t wait to go run and romp with him.- proclaimed Accalia.

She was in love and I couldn’t blame her, did I mention that man was fine? Then I heard a knock on the door. I stopped jumping and sat down. Then my phone pinged.

“Answer the door my dream”. That’s when I heard the giggles. It’s 8 am, and they’re here already, I was going to have breakfast with Ezra, I pouted. Then another knock came in harder this time. I guess I should let them in before they break down a one-hundred-year-old door.

As soon as I opened the door screams and squeals of excitement bellowed through the halls. They all rushed in. My mother, the twins, and even Maikiah. They all came with bags in hand and were followed by a man pushing in a breakfast cart.

My mother gave me a big hug, she stared at me almost knowingly. I was excited but, I decided to keep Ezra to myself currently.

“My beautiful dream, you look so, well rested. Anything you want to share with your mother?”. She asked me, I linked Maikiah for help. So she knocked over orange juice.

“How about we eat I’m starving”. So, we did, we laughed and joked, talked about Maikiah and Adir’s upcoming Luna ceremony we hashed out colors, she decided that all of us girls would wear lavender, and her mom and my mom would wear champagne or gold. That’s about as far as we got on that.

Around 9:30 there was a knock on the door, in there came the nail ladies, knowing my mom she had gone all out. About thirty minutes later, another knock came and it was a delivery of a box of lavender roses. My mom jumped up and got them thinking it was for her or Maikiah, she grabbed the note. “Eislyn Willa Yarrow, why exactly would you be receiving this very expensive box of lavender roses”. I hopped up out of the chair and ran over to my mother, I almost trampled the poor nail tech.

Taking the card from my mom. I walked over to the corner of the room for privacy.

I quickly shot him a text, telling him thank you for the flowers, and telling him I had slept well, for the first time in a while.

“ I just looked it up lavender roses mean love at first sight. Yelled Andalee. I narrowed my eyes at her. Great just great, trying to quickly change the subject. “ You know Maikiah I’m thinking orange instead of purple”.

“Oh no you don’t, little lady, who is sending you roses, that means love at first sight”. I look at her, and Maikiah, trying to figure out how to get out of this conversation. At this point, even the nail techs are staring me down.

“Ok fine,” I said as I walked back over to my chair. “ I met someone”, I mumbled. “ You, met someone”? My mother replied.

Maikiah started to snicker. The twins were watching me like hawks circling a mouse. My mother was not going to let this go.

“I FOUND MY MATE”! I yelled. My mother jumped, startled by my delivery. I could see her wheels turning she was so shocked. Then she screamed, followed by the screams of my sisters.

“Tell us everything”. The twins blurted out.

“ There is nothing really to tell his name is Ezra and he’s an Alpha”. I said in a meek voice.

“Not much to tell? he’s an Alpha, my daughter is going to be a Luna”- she said with a very proud sound to her voice.

I told them the basics, I didn’t want to talk about the drama while the nail techs were in the room. Once the nail ladies left. I headed to the bathroom to shower and wash my hair. There was a lot of hair in this room and we only trusted ourselves and Mom to flatiron it, but we would however have a stylist come in to style it.

After I finished, my shower, I blow-dried my hair. By the time I finished, I came out to see lunch had been delivered and my mother was smiling.

“You have a very caring mate I see”. She said to me. “ How do you know it wasn’t one of your mates. I questioned her. Well because we linked them, but this note also gave it away.”

To keep up your strength, we have a long night ahead of us. P.S. Tell your mother and sisters I said hello and can’t wait to meet them.

As the day went on my mom, started working on my hair while my sisters showered and washed their hair and blow-dried theirs, followed by Maikiah, doing the same routine. We ate, and laughed, all while we watched movies and some trash TV. The twins were still deciding on their dresses, but they were down to just two options now. We even squeezed in some random naps, especially since Maikiah's pregnancy was kicking her butt.

I woke, and it was just me in Mom, in the seating area she was drinking coffee. “ So I noticed, though you are happy, you seem to be holding something back”. She said to me. Do you mean to tell me she noticed that but didn’t realize that Casey had a crush on me?

“Well, I’m nervous, Ezra has been great, his pack isn’t far from ours, but he has a past”. I said.

“When you say past, do you mean s****l one”? She asked.

“Yes, and how am I supposed to compete with that, I mean even one of his exes is here and she’s not accepting of us being mates”. I rushed out.

“ First of all my love, you don’t have to compete, with anything or anyone. You were made for him. So I promise you anything he’s felt with any other woman, won’t compare to what you will bring him. We talked for a little while longer, and she reassured me about the goddess's plan and how everything would work out in the end. As far as Tonya goes if she doesn’t back down my mom is more than willing to kindly show, Miss Thing her place, my mom's words. Then I realized it was 3:30 I got up brushed my teeth, did my skincare routine, and the next thing I knew I heard a knock on the door. It was our favorite stylist, Michel, pronounced the French way. I’m pretty sure he’s from Utah but, who am I to judge, he’s a character, and his helpers, Gloria, Simon, and Brittany get the job done. Our hair and makeup are always flawless. Since we’ve found him he’s done all our big events.

He told us stories of a crazy client who wouldn’t pay him but tried to book him for this evening's event. He talked about how he turned down everyone for the Yarrow queen and her princesses. We joked and sipped a little champagne. He talked about his travels and how he’s opening a new salon, actually very close to my future pack.

Some time later, Michel and his crew left and we started to get ready. A couple of quick cold showers and moisturized shoulders, elbows, knees, and feet later, we got dressed. The twins picked their dresses. Anneis decided on a black, corset maxi gown, with a slit that stopped about an inch over the knee, with 3D flowers that cascade over her shoulder. It went well with the old Hollywood theme we decided on as a family. She wore a black heel with a gold metal strap at the ankle. With her hair in a ponytail, it showed off her décolletage, and she wore simple gold earrings. Andalee however went for some color with a Blush maxi, satin gown. It had a strapless peaked neckline with a bone bodice. The ruching added a feminine drape allowing the skirt of the dress to hold on to all her curves. She wore a gold choker and diamond earrings. Her hair was also in a high ponytail but curled up at the ends. Maikiah decided to keep up with her sexy before the bump tradition. The dress however elegant was indeed sexy, handmade with pearls and rhinestones, her gown had a v-shaped neckline so cleavage was the name of the game. It was a maxi-length gown that cascaded into a train. With a low back and strappy detailing. She wore a nude heel to match the nude underlay of her dress. She looked as though she was just wearing jewelry. She wore her hair in a French wave and accessorized with a diamond and pearl earrings. My mother however decided to blow us all out of the water. In a one-sleeved bronze-colored dress. The upper part of the dress has a corset inside with a Bardot sleeve full of champagne-colored crystals all over it, on one side. The bottom half of her dress drapes with a slit on the left and a tail attached to the waist.

After a thousand pictures, the twins were so sure we needed to take them. We headed down to the ballroom. When I saw that spineless c**t, trying to push up on my man again. I swear, if this was a game of Clue she wouldn’t have a single one.

“Alpha Ezra, would you be so kind as to escort me into the ball”? She asked him.

And before he could reply, I decided that I’d openly stake my claim on him. It wasn’t a lot of people in this hall but it was enough to spread that we were mates.

“Sorry, Tonya is it? Ezra is my arm candy for the night and every night henceforth”. He smiled a grateful smile, stepped around her, and took my arm.

I looked back at Tonya she was staring daggers into me. I looked over to my mom, and she winked at me, letting me know she had my back.

As soon as I turned my head I saw Ezra’s Beta coming towards us in a rush. So determined, that one I thought. Then he growled out Mates,

The f**k? He stormed past Ezra and me, heading towards the twins, wait twins he was all over them hugging them and kissing them on the neck. It was honestly gross.

“Excuse me, my mother whispered but yelled at the same time. I’m Aiyana”, she reached her hand out to take it. He quickly excused himself and said

“I’m sorry ma’am I don’t know what came over me”.

“Well, I do”. I snickered

“ How about we find a private area to have this conversation my dad said”. As he led us to an empty room.

Then it hit me, Frederick is the Beta of Ezra’s pack, and the twins are coming with me.
