After, our long uncomfortable talk about my s****l history. It was the highlight of my existence telling the woman who was made for me about my s****l exploits. I mean I didn’t go into detail and 10 women wasn’t a lot compared to some Alphas.

That was beside the point though. I could tell Eislyn wasn’t thrilled that I had, indulged with other women. But I could also see that she was trying to understand that waiting for your mate isn’t as common as it used to be.

Honestly, I’m thrilled she is a virgin, but I also would’ve accepted her if she wasn’t. Because no matter who her first was, I’m going to be her last. To know I’m her first, last and only had me and Roman over the moon.

We stayed up late, talking about everything, from our favorite colors to music, our love of art, my love of cars, her love of fashion and interior design, and everything in between. We just talked about the little things about each other.

Eventually, we settled down and watched a movie. While eating the food I had Fredrick send up to us.

At some point in the night, we both fell asleep and snuggled up against each other. It was some of the best sleep I’ve had in years, despite us sleeping on the couch.

As the night went on, I could tell Eislyn was trying to get comfortable. Her movements started to wake me. I kept my eyes closed, I was however interested in what was causing her to move around so much.

Eventually, I opened my eyes and I realized it was her corset causing her so much discomfort. Before I could say anything she snatched it off.

She’s currently topless on top of me and now I’m completely hard and I know she isn’t ready for what I want to do. So I gently tap her shoulder.

She just starts to grind her body on my d**k, in her effort to get comfortable. Oh boy this is going to be a long night is all I can think to myself.

So I gently tap her shoulder again. “Baby I think we should get you in bed”.

She just wiggles her body again. “Eislyn, sweetheart, you removed your top”.

“Ummm, hot”. That was all I could make out. But before I could say anything else. She popped her head up realizing what I said to her. Looking down she hopped off of me.

“Oh s**t…shit, geez, how embarrassing, what the hell”, she rambled on as she ran over to the dresser to put on a shirt. I adjusted myself. I didn’t think her seeing my massive hard-on, would’ve made this situation better.

I walked up behind her she had a shirt on now, and I was slightly disappointed, but understanding she wasn’t ready. I gently hugged her, and said. “I just want you to know you are beautiful, even if you're not ready for me to see you in that way”. She relaxed in my arms.

She turned to look at me, “I-I…I’m not ashamed or body shy, we’re wolves for goddess sake but I don’t know”. She kind of stumbled out. I lifted her chin with my finger so I could look into those golden-flecked brown eyes. Even in the dark, I could see them. “Baby, you are mine, I love everything about you even what I haven’t seen. I understand that you are not ready to fully share that part of yourself yet, and I’m more than okay with that. She smiled up at me a cute crooked little smile. But just so you know when you are ready, I’m going to make you feel things you didn’t know your body was capable of”. Her body shuddered and I started to smell her arousal she smelled Glorious.

I kissed the top of her head and bid her goodnight. it was three in the morning and she needed her rest.

Later that day I hadn’t seen Eislyn or Tonya all day. I did have a bouquet of roses sent up to her room. She did however text me letting me know she had some of the best sleep of her life last night. She also let me know her parents and sisters had shown up early to start prep for the ball.

I know girls take all day getting ready but how much time do they need? I thought to myself since that seemed to be the theme of the day, most of the Alphas were in the gym today. Adir and his Beta had just finished a game of basketball with a few of the younger Alphas and Betas.

Adir walked over to me and Fredrick with a smile on his face.

“ Good Afternoon”. He said with a sneaky tone.

“Good afternoon? I said arching my eyebrow questioning his motives.

“ So is it true you spent the night with my sister? I’m guessing you two made up”?

Looking at him with an arched brow, I asked “You sure you want to know”?

Clearly, he was checking my neck out for a mark as he replied. “ You can spare me all the details, but seeing there’s no mark on your neck, I’ll assume all you did was talk, I huffed at his ability to deduce the obvious. Talking is good, that means you two are one step closer to completing the bond. But really man I’m happy for you two”.

“Thanks, man, I do appreciate it, your sister is great. She’s hilarious and brilliant and….

Fredrick began to snicker. “ What’s so funny”? “ Oh nothing Boss just mated you is hilarious, I’ve never heard you gush over a woman before, it’s, shall I say, eye-opening”. Frederick jeered at me.

I backhanded him in the chest. “ that’s because no woman has been worth gushing over until her”. I replied proudly.

“Anyway, Adir have you seen Eislyn today at all?

“ No, and I probably won’t until right before the ball”

“ Really? Does it always take her this long to get ready”?

He laughed at me. “ What the f***k is so funny”?

“So it’s safe to assume you’ve never dated a woman with curly hair, long curly hair. And it’s not just 1 curly-haired girl getting ready, there’s five, I suggest you keep yourself busy it’s going to be awhile”.

So after my workout with Frederick, we showered, and came down for lunch. I had lunch sent up to Eislyn’s room. I noticed Frederick was being all weird and quiet.

“Dude, you ok?” I asked. “ yeah, man, I’m fine I just feel a little off, but don’t worry about me. Hey, I never really got to congratulate you, Eislyn seems great, I think she’ll be an awesome Luna.

“Thanks, man, I’m sure you’ll find your mate soon”.

I hope so man, I got a lot of love to give and now that you're taken I have no one to give it to.” He stated laughing at me while wiggling his eyebrows. But he’s right Frederick is a loyal and very efficient man, I don’t know where he gets the energy from but he’s capable of so much, he’s honestly an awesome Beta and best friend. I also know he’s going to be great to his mate.

After lunch we went back to our respective rooms, I made some phone calls to my Gamma, checking in on the pack and other business deals. After that meeting, I decided I better get some rest because after tonight’s ball, I want to get an early start getting back to the pack and making sure everything is prepared for Eislyn.

Now it’s 7:30 in the evening, and since the ball starts at 8:30. I decided it’s no time like the present to shower and get ready. I washed my body, trimmed my beard, and lined up my hair. I styled my hair in my usual man bun. I went for a classic black tux with a white Bib shirt and a black bow tie with some classic calfskin oxfords. I finished the look off with black stainless steel wolf cufflinks. With a light spritz of Cologne, I was out the door.

It was about 8:35 with me, Adir, and his father Alpha Cailan had been waiting outside of the ballroom. I had only met him once he was a very Honorable Alpha, maybe a bit brash to the outside world but he commanded respect. Adir introduced me as his new son and mate to Eislyn, he seemed elated at the fact I was joining the family. They both joked about how his wife Luna Aiyana was going to give me hell when it came to the questions but it was all in love.

I started realizing this family was all jest and in each other's business in the most loving way. I couldn’t help but think about all the love our pups would have from her family, and how sad I was they would lack it on mine. Just as I was about to get all mopey.

I got annoyed, instead, standing there was Tonya in her sequence floor-length dress, with a plunging neckline, black gown, and from the looks of the men behind her I’m sure the back showed all skin as well.

“Alpha Ezra would you be so kind as to escort me into the ball”. She asked me in front of everyone. This girl has no shame. Before I could respond.

“I’m sorry, Tonya is it? He’s my arm candy for the night, and every night, henceforth. The brown-eyed beauty said. I sidestepped around Tonya who was standing there with her jaw dropped.

She was a vision in red. This dress hugged her body like a glove, showing off her hourglass figure. With a dip in the front, the languidly sexy off-the-shoulder collar to the dress. It had a slit in the front that came to mid-thigh. Showing her beautiful warm bronzed legs. Her hair was loosely curled, in an updo with loose tendrils around her face and neck. She looked phenomenal.

As she hooked her arm into mine we walked into the ballroom followed by her family. Before we made it 10 feet into the room I saw Frederick headed towards us, with determination in his eyes. But he wasn’t looking quite at us, more like past us.

“Mates”. he growled, we turned around to see who the lucky lady was.
