Chapter 19 - Destined

Most of them went out at around 4 in the afternoon to enjoy water activities. They really have no plans for the first day because they figured some will still be working and some will be resting.

Klasy and Theo went away from the crown. After they watched the sunset, they had some drinks in the hotel bar. Since it is early, there are only a few people hanging out there. You can still see kids having meals.

At around 7 PM, they gathered in a restaurant located at the highest floor of their hotel. It's crowded because today is Saturday. A middle aged man is playing the piano, it is setting the mood in that place. Overall, the ambiance is RELAXING. The distance between tables is also enough to have provate conversation. But since they are a big group, they requested for a table near the glass wallwhere they can connect two tables together.

Klasy and Theo happened to be sitting in the middle. Rowy and Theo were sitting farthest from each other. Gaizer, Kier, and Melody were sitting beside Klasy. The others are still on their way, they are coming straight from the sea.

After 10 minutes of settling down, they are finally complete. They do not have a specific topic around their table but it is already noisy. At least 3 people have to be speaking at the same time.

They placed their orders while Paolo was scanning still the menu. He's looking for a good wine while his brother already decided of the first cocktail that he will order.

"I'll take just 2 glasses tonight. I had enough last night." She didn't mean to open the topic about last night, but they started bringing it up again.

"She gave a firm statement that he and PIerre are not dating. From her peripheral view, she can see that Theo's jaw was clenching. He remained silent while Klasy was explaining seriously to their friends that PIerre is nothing more than a brother to her. Theo hates hearing even his name. He hates Klasy being affiliated with him, but he remains calm.

"I appreciate if you never bring that topic again."

"I agree!" Let's be cool about it. Klasy will introduce her boyfriend to us if she got one. No pressure to y, sweetie." Rowy winked at her and raised her glass but it's just a glass of water so everyone laughed at her. Klasy thanked her for making the mood lighter.

"And you also had a lot to drink last night, you should be setting Klasy as example and try to drink as little as possible tonight. No one here likes to take care of your drunken ass, Rowy." She stood to look at the guy who pointed that. It was his eternal enemy, Paolo.

"Coming from you, Pao. Please you are a worse drinker. We'll be happy if you don't cause a trouble in our stay..."

"Excuse me. When did I ever cause a trouble?" She was caught off guard, but what surprised everyone was when Paolo seemed to suddenly remember something and they both shut up.

"I guess we should really moderate our drinking while we're here." He cleared his throat and started changing the topic. What happened? Klasy can't remember Paolo causing a trouble because he was drunk. Are these two keeping a secret from her? Her brow raised and continued to observe her friends. They seem normal. Even they are sitting far from each other, they will find a way to rebut every chance they get. They just won't let each other be at peace.

Klasy felt Theo reaching out for her hand. She glanced at his way and let him hold her hand. The dim light in the place also gives them confidence. She wanted to lean on his shoulder but their friends would start getting wild. She still has no idea how to tell them.

The dinner was served. They are talking in peace about politics and business. They have a common stand when it comes to politics. In terms of business, almost all of them have background so they are also fine talking about it in their circle. Paolo and Theo hold the highest positions in terms of management. When they talk, they really sound like billionaires but they are cool about it. They never brag or whatever.

Paolo kept looking at Klasy. He noticed immediately how sweet she is to Theo. Last time they were all together, these two are like Tom and Jerry, but now they keep agreeing to what each other is saying. Their other friends find them weird too, but none of them is brave enough to confirm.

"Klasy..." Pao called her.

"Yes, Pao?" She looked at his way with those glowing eyes,

"Try this wine. It has the blend that you like." He handed her a glass wine, and Paolo immediately saw how Theo murmured something in her ear.

"You had 2 glasses already." Klasy blushed unconditionally because of what Theo said. Only she heard that because he whispered it right in her ear. Their friends looked at the two if them but Rowy was quick to save the moment.

"Tomorrow we are going island hopping, right?" She asked with her loud voice.

Klasy took the wine glass that Pao handed her. She took a sip and immediately put down the glass which made Theo smile. She sipped a little amount, just enough for her to tate the wine.

" Good girl." He commented letting everyone hear. Klasy was already blushing. The way Theo can make her all flustered.

"It's great, Pao! This is the most expensive drink tonight? you really know my taste!" She exclaimed. Pao gave a smile but his eyes were piercing through Theo. He wanted to drag him out of the table and ask him directly what's going on between him and Klasy.

The night is young, but they seem to get drunk already. Rowy is also holding her alcohol because she does not want headache for the activities tomorrow.

"You used to play piano in high school, right? Why don't you show us some skills?" Pao was indeed drunk. He kept boasting about Theo's achievements. All of them knows that these two have a great bond even they are just half brothers. Paolo is always proud of Theo and they shared the same values and etiquette so watching them like this makes Klasy's heart melt.

Theo looked at Klasy then to Paolo. He looked at where the piano was located then he stood which earned respect from very one in the table.

"You still remember the keys?" Pao was even shocked. He stood and followed his brother to the piano and he started recording. The staffs and the bartenders looked at him. The other guests started recording as well when he played.

Klasy watched him with admiration. This man has done a lot. Even dunig his high school days, he kept pushing himself to do more because that's where he finds value for himself. He never considers money as the most important thing in the world. It has always been honor, talent, skills, and achievements for him. He is a perfectionist, and that put a pressure to Klasy somehow. She has to keep doing things that will make Theo proud, but they are here at this moment, she just wants to enjoy what they have.

He played the keys for Somebody Out THERE. Their friends started singing along but with a low voice. Klasy was not aware that her tears started falling because of the lyrics she's hearing.

"You need someone who miss you, hold you and kiss you. There's somebody out there who will."

"You need a man who holds you for hours

And laughs when he says they don't have love like ours

He earned a round of applause which just made him smile. Paolo kep shouting that Theo is his brother. He must really be drunk. He paused for a moment then spoke to the microphone in front.

"This song is dedicated to my love." He cleared his throat.

"I am her first boyfriend, and she will be my last girlfriend. To the woman who stirs me up and causes a havoc in my ystem but in a good way, I love you. I'm glad you allowed me to be that somebody to take care of you, hold you and make our friends jealous." He has never done such thing, so he was embarrass also but that is fine. He's willing to do the same in the future if it is for Klasy.

Everyone's looking at Klasy when Theo went back to their table and wrapped his arm around Klasy. She covered her face because she doesn't want them to see her ugly reaction. She's overwhelmed and shy.

"YOU ARE DATING?" No one of them can believe. Paolo walked slowly only to see them hugging each other.

"This is betrayal."

"Shut up, PAO. You never had a chance to begin with." Paolo was still shock, but ROwy has a point. He took a deep sigh and took his seat. He sobbered up.

They became the main topic in the table. They keep asking how did it happen when they were always fighting before.

"I can't say I'm happy but I cannot also contradict to what you have. You were not kidding when you said one time that you are dating her. I thought you were delusional." Paolo was speechless for some time, but when he spoke, he just said what he thought.

" And we also don't need your approval, Pao. Everyone knows that Kasy and you are friends, and we know who you really like. You should go after her before you lose your chance forever." Theo roasted him good then sipped from his beer. His eyes went to Rowy who is now watching him and Klasy. She's quick to turn away.

"Me? I like someone?" Theo was clueless.

They took it easy that night. They agreed to meet at 8 AM in the hotel lobby to go together to the shore where they will meet their tour guides for the island hopping.
