Chapter 7

Ava

While I ate, I caught movement with the corner of my eye. I turned to see Celia staring and followed her eyes, only to see Jamie and Sarah talking. At that moment I hoped they weren't talking about her threats in that note she gave, rather threw at me. I silently prayed it wasn't, cause she'll attack me even more and at every chance she gets.

They seemed to talk for a while before she left for her table. On her way back she glanced my way and glared.

I'm screwed

I thought.

"Do you think they talked about that note she threw?"

"Nah...". Celia replied. "Jamie was wayyy too calm to be talking about that note. You know how he gets when he's protecting his people". Celia pointed out and I nodded.

"yeah you're right". I nodded. "She looked pissed though when she left and even more pissed when she looked our direction".

Celia shrugged, let out a sigh before putting a spoonful of food into her mouth. I continued with mine until it was gone from the plate. The bell rang out.

"What's your next class?" I ask.

"Economics".

"Mine's physics. So I guess I'll see you in

English class with Jamie". I said and walked her to her class before heading to mine. On the way, I thought of how annoying and mean Sarah has been to me and Celia for no reason. It boils my blood and I wish i knew what her problem is with us. Getting to the door of the classroom, I tried to remove all negative emotions and thoughts so I breathe in and out, pushed the door open and settled on a seat.

The door opened and Ivan walked in. He looked as handsome as usual and also way out of my league. I don't have a crush on him, I'm just calling a spade a spade.

"Hi Ava". Ivan hollered.

"Sup?" I said

"Don't try to be such a tomboy Ava, when you are even more girly than the rest". I rolled my eyes at his comment and scoffed, while he smirked. "Ignoring your bestie won't do you any good Ava~". He sang.

"Go get yourself a seat dude and we aren't even besties". I said playfully.

Fortunately for him, there was an empty seat in front of mine. He sat on it and turned to face me before speaking again. "Come on we all know a person can have more than one bff. Besides, I'm a really good deal. You wouldn't want to miss a good deal now would you?" He practically advertised and winked too.

What a pile a trouble this Ivan.

I thought while chuckling to myself.
