GAVIN’s POV
I can call her right now and I know she’ll answer back immediately. But the thought of being able to have a conversation with her in messages is sweeter and quite addicting. Reading her messages repeatedly calms me down even when I am alone.
“I hope you enjoyed your birthday, even though that happened.” After sending my reply, I picked up my guitar again and started playing. Actually, I planned to sing a song to her before bedtime, but I don’t want her out since it’s almost midnight.
“It was a blast. Mas masaya compared sa mga nakaraang birthday ko. May panira lang, pero masaya pa rin.” she replied.
I really wanted her birthday to be memorable. Kahit bago man lang siya matulog maging masaya talaga siya at makalimutan niya ‘yong pangit niyang ex-boyfriend.
