Chapter four - Carried away

Vince's POV:

I never imagined that I would be where I am today. I have a good job, a place to live, and a beautiful girlfriend. Before, I walked after every girl that I met. The thing is that I wanted to be with many girls. Luckily, I have changed. There is only one girl with who I want to be and her name is Emma. Thanks to her, I am a better person. We had problems, but for now, everything is good. We haven't seen Ricky, which is great. Well, there is a chance that he might come back, but I hope that he won't. Maybe he has changed, but I don't think so. Sometimes I still can't understand why he did all of these things. Emma had told him many times that she didn't like him. I'm glad that we got rid of him. Technically, we should thank his parents. I won't think about him. It was in the past. I want to focus on more important things. One of them is my girlfriend. I never thought that, with a kid, we wouldn't have much time for ourselves. We can steal some time when the baby is sleeping, but it won't be the same. That's why I will enjoy the time which we have. Once we have a kid, things will change. I'm starting to understand why Emma didn't want to rush. Also, she is the one who has to carry it for nine months. I don't know how women deal with this. In their place, I wouldn't survive. That is too much pain and struggle. Sometimes, I'm glad that I am a boy. Well, no matter when this happens, I will help Emma. I might not be the best, but I will do everything for her.

I woke up and looked at Emma. She was still sleeping. I kissed her cheek and carefully got up. Lately, she works a lot, so today, I will make breakfast. I'm not a good cook, but I know that she will appreciate it. I looked on the Internet and found an easy recipe with eggs, bacon, and cheese. Well, it looked easy. With my experience, it probably will be hard. I hope that I won't burn it. I took the ingredients and started cooking.

After thirty minutes, breakfast was ready. I walked back to our room and checked on Emma. I don't want to wake her up, but we need to go to work. I laid down next to her and gave her a small kiss. I saw my favorite smile, which meant that soon, she would wake up. If I could, I would help her in my arms forever. I thought that my girl would wake up, but no. She only snuggled. I have no problem with that, but I don't want us to be late.

- Emma, will you wake up? Breakfast is ready.

- I want to sleep.

- Please. When we come home, you can sleep as much as you want.

- Did you make breakfast?

- Yes, why?

- Thank you.

- If you want, we can eat it in bed.

- No, thanks. I will get up.

Emma and I went to get ready. When we were ready, we walked into the kitchen. Both of us started eating, and she looked at me. Please don't tell me that she doesn't like the food. That was one of the few times I tried to cook something. I know that it's not the best, but this is what I can do.

- You don't like it, do you?

- No, I love it. Every time you are getting better and better.

- Thanks, but you don't have to lie.

- I'm not lying. I like the food.

- Really?

- Yes, I do. It's delicious. You need to cook more often.

- When I have time, I will happily cook you something.

After breakfast, both of us went to work. Every day we have to check ourselves. We are not in a bank or a building with a lot of money. Our boss likes security. It's not like I mind. All we have to do is, put our cards in front of a machine. Only employees have it, so there is no chance someone else can enter.

- We have to meet Cherry and Adam today. - Emma said

- They will come in an hour.

- Do we have all the plans?

- Yes, they are right here.

- I hope that they will agree with us.

- Well, we are here to help. The final decision is theirs.

- I know.

While we waited for Cherry and Adam, Emma and I made another plan. It was for a couple. The woman is pregnant with twins. They live in a small apartment but bought a big one. They said that once they move in, they will sell the old one. There are many options. Mostly it depends on the rooms. Which will be their room, and which for the kids. Also, it's important what twins will be. I mean two boys, two girls, or a boy and a girl. It's not necessary to paint the walls pink or blue. I don't know why people do it. When our kid is born, we won't do this. If he or she wants it, yes. Otherwise, I don't plan to do it.

Soon, Cherry and Adam came. We asked the assistant to make the coffee. According to Emma, our clients should feel welcomed. I have never thought about that, but it has worked.

- Hello. I'm glad to see you again. - Emma said

- We too. Can we start with the plans? Today is a busy day. - Cherry said

- Yes, sure. Vince, can you give me the first one?

- Here you go.

- This is how the furniture will look if you choose this one.

- Emma made the garden.

- It looks great, but right now, we can't afford all that. - Adam said

- It's ok. We didn't buy all the furniture in our house. Only the most important things.

- When we save more money, we can buy the rest of the things. - Cherry said

We spent almost an hour talking with Cherry and Adam. Finally, they decided that the second plan was the best. Emma gave them a copy. Of course, if they want, we can change something. After all, this will be their house. For lunch, I ordered food. Emma said that she wanted to finish some work. I don't know why she works so much. Even without the effort, Kim notices it. I don't think that she tries to impress someone.

- Here you go. Your food is ready.

- Leave it there. I will eat later.

- Emma, can we talk for a second?

- Give me ten minutes, and I'll be ready.

I didn't say anything, walked up to her, and made her look at me. She didn't like it. The only thing that I did was kiss her. Is it bad that I wanted to spend some time with her?

- I'm sorry. I have a lot of work.

- No, you don't. Can't you stop working for a while?

- Who will do all of my work?

- You have enough time for that.

- Look, I want to finish my tasks. Later, I will turn all my attention to you.

- Later, it might be too late. - I said and walked away

Since Emma won't take a rest, I will make her. For the last couple of days, I have planned to make something for her. The thing is that I always had work. Today I will ask Kim if she will let me go from work early. I plan to make dinner. If things go in the right direction, I can give her a treat. I walked to my boss's office and knocked on the door.

- Hey, Vince. How can I help you?

- I need a favor.

- Ok, I'm listening to you.

- Can I go from work a little bit early?

- Why?

- Emma has been working a lot lately, and I wanted to make dinner. All I want is to make her take a rest.

- I wish that someone could do this for me. You can go, but only today. I mean that I can't let you do this every day.

- Don't worry. It's only for today.

- No problem. Go now, and good luck.

- Thank you.

I went to take my things and walked away. Emma didn't notice me at all. Maybe that is better. Otherwise, she would ask questions. I spent an hour in the store, wondering what to get. Later, I walked home and started cooking. I have three hours until Emma comes home. My idea is dinner in the dark. Technically, I will put candles on the table. When I was ready, I wrote a note and put it on the front door. Usually, we turn the light on when we come from work. Today, this is forbidden.

After half an hour, Emma came home. I guess that she has read my note. I hope that she is not mad at me for today. I didn't want to offend her. Only to spend some time with her.

- Vince, are you here?

I didn't say anything. My girl has to come and find me by herself. I heard her coming into the kitchen. Emma came to the table, and I used the chance to go behind her.

- This is amazing.

- It's all for you. - I said and wrapped my hands around Emma

- Did you do all of this?

- Yes. It's not much, but it took me a lot of time.

- It looks so good. I'm sorry about today.

- Let's eat now. Apologies will be later.

I was sure that Emma would come late again. For the last week, we came home at 6 pm. I don't mind it, but I want some rest as well. After all, I am a person. Both of us were eating without saying anything. I see that Emma liked the food.

- What will we do now? I'm sure that you have planned the whole night.

- Maybe I did. I was thinking about a treat.

- Why not? I owe you one.

- I'm glad to hear that.

We walked to our room. I didn't tell Emma that I had one more surprise for her. I bought a couple of roses and put them on the bed in a heart shape.

- Is this for me?

- Well, I won't do it for myself. - I said, chuckling

- I need to start treating you better.

- You don't have to do it. I know lately, you work a lot, so I thought some rest wouldn't be that bad.

- I don't know what I did to deserve you.

- But I know. - I said and kissed her

Very soon, we were on the bed, making out. After ten minutes, we were only in our underwear. I put one of my hands on my girl's stomach and moved it slowly to her pants. I felt how her breathing became heavy. I want to go further, but I don't know if she would like it. There is one way to find out. I slid my hand, and her whole body shivered.

- Are you ok?

- Yes.

- If you want, I can stop.

- No. Go on.

I won't lie that I was happy to hear that. I continued from where I stopped and felt Emma's heavy breathing. Soon, I removed her pants to make it easier for me. Meanwhile, she got rid of my underwear and put her hand on my weak spot. Emma has never done this before, but it feels so damn good. We did this for god knows how long until I decided I wanted to do it completely. Now and with her.

- Do it.

- Are you sure? I don't want to make you do something you don't want.

- Please, just do it. I can't wait anymore.

- Ok. It might hurt you a bit.

- It's ok.

I tried to be gentle. In the moment I felt Emma's pain, I stopped. Damn it! I didn't want to hurt her. Soon she calmed down, and I started moving. This girl feels like heaven. I have never felt anything so good. I stopped when both of us finished. I don't know about Emma, but that was amazing.

- I'm sorry for hurting you.

- Are you kidding me? That was amazing.

- To understand that you liked it.

- Everything. The dinner, the roses, and this. Thank you. I promise to pay more attention to you.

- Don't worry. I know that you like to work.

- Yes, but you are more important. - she said and kissed me

- I'm going for a shower. Will you come?

- Yes, sure. I need one.

It was supposed to be a shower. Instead, we did round two. This time it was even better. My girlfriend is amazing. Who knew that she could be such a beast? After the shower, we went to sleep.

- Good night and sweet dreams.

- To you too. - she said and snuggled

I knew that one day this would happen. I didn't plan it to be today, but I'm happy about it. Some couples did it as teenagers, but we had other problems. I think that when you grow up, you appreciate this more. I'm glad that we did it. It was about time. Also, our parents have talked to us about that since we graduated from university. They got worried that we would never do it. I don't want to be mean, but this is our business. We are grown-up people, and we know what is best for us. I'm happy that she let me be her first. I love Emma, and I want to spend my life with her.
