My wolf

I regain my conscience a little and I hear voices all around the room. "Why would she say that mother? She is a witch she does not have a wolf, does she?" I think that was my mother speaking. "Sorry for scaring you, I just had to make myself known to you. I have waited so long to speak to you. You can talk back to me in your mind they don't have to hear you talking" Stormy says all of a sudden again. "Well hi, uh stormy. But how can this be? I am a witch like my mother says so how is this possible?" I ask her still laying down with my eyes closed to scared to move. I can feel Jeandre holding my hand. Stormy laughs softly and answers me with a vague answer "Because you are special, and soon you will find out just how special you are. I can't say anymore so I am going to leave you to speak to your family. I am here whenever you need me, just talk in your head and I will answer just like you were doing now. Oh and Miane before I leave you, I know all this is weird but you have to trust me on this. Accept Jeandre. You have to do it for the sake of the world." and just like that my head was quiet again, but I could still feel her there. I slowly get up from the couch and see the relief on everyone's faces. Jeandre is still holding my hand refusing to let it go. I feel this pull to him and the scent I smelled that day on my birthday is even stronger now, the smell of Sandalwood mixed with fresh peaches. Stormy keeps saying mate in my head and I utter the word out as well. Everybody looks at me confused including Jeandre. "Honey, did you just say you had a wolf?" my dad asked the question that everybody was too scared to ask. "Yes I did dad, she told me her name is Stormy. She said that she has always been my wolf but the spell did not just make my powers dormant but it made her dormant as well. The potion removed the spell." My mother walks to me and hugs me so tight that I can barely breathe. "But how? We have never heard of anything like this." My dad asks. I tell them what she told me about how I am special and I will soon find out how special. Grampa who is a human but knows everything about supernaturals doesn't know of anything like this. "I will have to do some research, but for now I think we have to join the party we have been gone for too long. They will say we are rude. We are the hosts after all." We all go back to the party.

We dance and feast on the wonderful food that is served tonight. I spend the whole night with Jeandre I don't want to be away from him and he doesn't mind by the looks of it. "You gave me a scare little water fairy" he whispers in my ear while we danced again. I place my head on his chest, taking in as much of his smell as I can. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to. I just had the sudden urge to drink the potion. I am glad that I took the potion because now I can feel the bond all on my own." He holds me tighter and I can feel his heart beating faster by the minute. "Jeandre there is something else, something that I did not want to say in front of everybody" We stop dancing and he leads me to the back porch. It is almost eleven and I'm nervous about the ceremony but I know I have to do it. He sits down on one of the steps and pulls me to sit next to him. "Is something wrong?" he asked me and his eyes are full of concern. "No, no nothing is wrong. Well, to be honest, I am not sure. Stormy told me that for the sake of the world that I should accept you. I have no clue what she meant by for the sake of the world." He gives me a quick kiss on the lips, stands up, and pulls me up. "Well, my beautiful mate there you have it. We have to be together, now come let's go we have to change for the ceremony" he says as we walk back inside to where everybody else is. Just as we enter my dad's voice echoes through the room. "The time we all have been waiting for is finally here. Will all the couples who are participating in the ceremony tonight, please go and change into your comfortable clothes, and meet us down at the beach in fifteen minutes. The rest of you, you can make your way to the beach so long. Drinks will be served while we wait" I look around the room to find Ruby and I see her making her way to me already. I give jeandre a quick kiss and leave him behind while Ruby and I make our way to my room to get changed. "So Ruby, sorry if I'm overstepping but I'm just so curious. Are you going to accept Justin?" I ask while helping her unzip her dress. She blushes and nods her head slowly. "Yes, yes I think I am going to accept him Miane. I just feel that I have to, I just hope he feels the same" she says with a slight sadness in her voice. "Of course he will accept you. He will be dumb to reject such a beautiful girl like yourself." She smiles more confidently now and she helps me with my dress. We get dressed in our comfy clothes and make our way downstairs to where all the other couples are waiting. This night is definitely a night to remember.
