A few minutes passed, and I just stared at them not knowing what to say. Grandma was the first to speak. "We know how this must seem but it is the truth," she says and she holds her hand out straight in front of her and a small fireball emerges from her hand. I was frozen from shock. When I finally found my voice it came out surprisingly clear. "Ok so I am a witch my father is a werewolf my mother a witch and grandma is a witch, I assume you are one as well grampa? He smiled at me shaking his head" No sweetheart I am just a regular old man" I smile at him feeling a little better about the situation. Finally, after a while the question that had been burning a hole in my brain emerges "So I get it now we are supernatural but I have to ask, why did that guy try to grab me and call me his.?" My mother smiled at me and explained to me that wolfs have lifelong mates and unfortunately they don't get to choose them but when they find them they fall in love instantly and they have a special bond. When a wolf finds its mate a special ceremony is held in which they can accept their mate or decline them. "So how am I supposed to accept him if I don't know him" my mother laughs softly and looks at my grandmother. My grandmother nods and then turns to me. "In the case, if a wolf finds a human or another supernatural mate there is a potion which is given to that human or other supernatural being, it allows them to feel the bond for 3 hours. Just before the potion wears of the ceremony is held. If you do not accept your mate you will feel a terrible pain for a few seconds and then it is over. But if you choose to accept your mate the bond you feel for your mate will be permanent and the ceremony will continue."

They continue to talk and my head starts to hurt from all the information I excused myself just to lay down a bit assuring them that I will think about it and think about the ceremony.

Jeandre's POV

" This can't be. f**k. What am I going to do? She is a witch, what if she rejects me. What if I cant find a second chance mate. Oh, moon goddess why would you do this to me. I have been good and now you send me this beautiful young witch and she is going to reject me please moon goddess why is it not Jolene." I was so busy arguing with the moon goddess that I didn't notice someone in my room. I turned around from where I was standing at the window. It's Luna Leila and she looks sad. Oh s**t. She heard what I was saying about the witch."I am sorry Luna I did not mean it like that. She is so f*****g pretty and she does not know our world I just don't want her to reject me" She smiled at me for a very long time and when she finally spoke I was shocked. "I know my daughter Jeandre, and she will accept you. She will drink the potion and attend the ceremony, Everything has a way of working out you will see." She walks to the door before she leaves she says " But Jeandre you have to be sure that you will be able to stay with her if you accept her and to face the fact that if you accept her that there will be a chance that your pups won't be a wolf. It is fifty-fifty." she left my room after that and I was left alone with my thoughts.

I went into the kitchen and bumped into the beautiful girl and I had to use all the strength I had to not take her in my arms right then and there.Her lavender and vanilla scent from the mate bond was intoxicating. I saw shock and confusion in her eyes but then she spoke with the softest most angelic beautiful voice I have ever heard. "Hi I am Miane your destined mate," she said while a nervous giggle escaped her beautiful lips. A soft pink blush crawled up her perfect cheeks making her even more beautiful. Right there I decided that this will be my queen, my Luna, I will not reject this beautiful girl she has to be mine, and I'm sure as hell going to try and convince her not to reject me I will make her fall in love with me with or without the mate bond. She is still expecting me to answer her. "Hey it is nice to meet you, I'm Jeandre," I say while smiling at her. "I just have to say this my wolf is going crazy and insist that I tell you about him. His name is Ace" she giggles nervously again and then she speaks to him as if he is there "Well hi there Ace it is nice to meet you also. I cant wait to see you in person." and without saying another word she turns around and leaves the kitchen. This ceremony better come soon.
