A couple days had passed out I woke up in the afternoon to Val sitting in front me on the side of the bed just rubbing my hand and leaning his head on the side of my nightstand watching me..
“Hey val what’s wrong are you okay?”
Val
“Yeah I’m fine beautiful.. i was just worried about you that’s all… you scared me little bit this morning you grabbed onto me pretty hard and begged me not to leave you alone this morning when I was getting up.. I think you were still asleep and maybe it was some kind of nightmare.. I just got worried and didn’t want to try to get back in bed and wake you up after you were peacefully asleep..”

“I don’t remember doing that.. “
Val-
“It’s okay baby it’s normal for this kind of situation..
3 dsys later i was on the couch eating a snsck and watching tv while Val was taking a nap. It was one of the first occasions I was able to peacefully sit somewhere else and still feel secure that both of us were safe. He was slowly but surely becoming the most important person in my life and I really was falling in love with him.. it’s been about 2 weeks since the incident at the prison and it’s all over the news that there’s a fugitive a large suspected of starting a riot that ended in the mass murder of 37 people the prison and the kidnapping and suspected murder of… me they thknk I’m… dead? But why? I shrugged it off and turned off the tv. I decided to make something to eat for him for when he woke up..
It only took 35 minutes for the phones to rimg and I picked up..
“Hello?”
“Hey it’s Marco.”
“I’m sorry can yoj confirm your phone number for me please I’m cooking ag the moment,”
“Sure”
He confirmed the number for me like val and I came up with for extra verification.
“What’s the update Marco?”

“Cc i need to give these numbers to Val for me alright.. he will understand exactly what they are and how to act afterwards.. he needs three asap please.”

I hung ip with him and turned off the stove, plated the food and brought it in to val..

“Mmm it smells amazing beautiful thank you.”

i grabbed everything we had mine and his stuff and met him back in the living room.

“Okey i got everything”

“God i love you!
“I got the keys and just to forewarn you because I don’t want you to be scared.. you are about to meet Marco too. He’s meeting us to help.”
Lucina
“Íts okay if you can trust him then so can i..”
“I love you too.”
He pulled me into his arms and kissed my lips for a moment before he guided me out of the door and to the car.
Val-
“Marco can be a bit of an ass sometimes so if he bothers you too much just punch him haha he’ll eventually learn.”
Lucina
“Oh so just punch him hehehe I’m allowed to just randomly sucker punch people now?”
Val
“Haha why not technically you are fugitive too since you are an accomplice to an escaped convict.”
Lucina
“Oh that is so not funny val hehehe”
Val-
“Then why are you giggling huh?”
“We are close to where we have to pick up marco.”
“Listen the note he gave me.. it was pretty serious he told me that the guy responsible for all of this was pretty close to narrowing down where you were working and if they figure that out they can connect the fact you were with Van at the prison..”
“I’m getting Marck out of dodge with us because I can’t want him getting hurt either being in the middle of everything and he can help me keep you safe too.”
“Are you okay with this beautiful? I can find a separate location that’s just as safe for him if it’s not comfortable for you.”

“No it’s okay i trust you baby.”
“What happens if they find out who i am?”
Val-
“Nothing more than the general rides right now but I don’t want anyone narrowing down any approximate geographical locations on us either.. the people we grew up with and were involved with they are career criminals and very dangerous ones… obviously.. but they have very very smart people.. a lot like you helping them.. not to mention the police department, the prosecution’s office and plenty of DA’s but I heard about your law firm and since I thought it was one not associated with anyone i knew before I setup a meeting with Van and sure enough my very first meeting i met you and you saved me… but you gave me another reason to fight for myself.

“Is there anyone in the feds office they work with or anything?”
Val-
“I dont think they’ve made it that far yet but marco would know.. you can ask him.”
