No one's POV
Laying on the bed in the infirmary, Bleu remained unconscious and couldn't wake up.
Luna's POV
"Oh my god, I'm really worried about Bleu! We should've told him the minute he stepped foot in this academy!" I screamed.
"Girl chill! Everything's going to be okay. He'll wake up, forget anything bad that had ever happened and continue living his life like a normal person. Easy!" Chad answered, putting both his hands on my shoulders, trying to calm me down.
"No! He's not normal! From the minute he set foot in this academy, I knew that! I- We have to tell him that when he wakes up!" I shouted, pushing Chad's hands off my shoulders.
"So you're willing to risk his life and ours? For God's sake Luna, are you really that dumb?" Chad said, looking deep into my dark green eyes.
"No, of course, I'm not dumb! We just can't hide it from him... I don't want the same thing that had happened to me, happen to him too. He's innocent Chad! Please. You have to help me! You're my best friend right? You'll help me right?" I pleadingly ask.
"Sigh, why did you drag me into this mess? Do you know that I can never say no to you right Luna? You're like a little sister to me, do you know that?" Chad answered, looking away.
"You're like a big brother to me too! I love you so much! Thank you. Now we have to help him!" I said while standing on my tippy toes, hugging Chad.
"What do you need help with? I'll try my best." Chad said, chuckling, trying to get out of my grip.
"I just need you to distract anyone that's about to enter the infirmary. I need to wake Bleu up before anyone else does." I said.
"Okay then. Good luck. Here goes nothing!" Chad said.
No one's POV
After figuring out where to stand, Chad stood near the front door of the infirmary and signaled to Luna that the coast was clear.
"Okay, you're good to go!" Chad gestured at Luna.
Tip-toeing to the infirmary, Luna entered the infirmary while slowly closing the door shut.
Luna's POV
"There he is. He looks so calm on that bed, sleeping peacefully. Now I feel bad that I didn't tell him sooner." I thought.
I slowly walked to the bed Bleu was on and sat down on one of the empty chairs nearby. I saw that he was still breathing but it hurt me to see him on that bed.
"He's innocent Luna," I thought, "Why aren't you helping him?"
I couldn't do it anymore. I had to help him so I got up and went to close both the white-laced curtains on the window near the front door of the infirmary. I went back to Bleu and gently placed my hand on Bleu's heart. I closed my eyes and began to cast a spell.
"Serthuaz him delaro" I said.
I slowly opened my eyes and looked up to Bleu. Not even a single movement. God, I hate being weak right now. Bleu needs my help, so I went ahead and cast the same spell, making sure it works this time.
"Serthuaz him delaro!" I exclaimed, not caring about making a noise.
Just as I was about to lose hope and call Chad, Bleu coughed.
"Oh my god! You're awake! Oh, thank God!" I instantly shrieked, engulfing him in a hug.
"Oh Woah Woah, cool down would ya?" Bleu confusingly replied.
"Oh sorry. I didn't mean to hurt or scare you." I replied, looking down.
"Hey, don't be sad! I'm not mad okay? I'm just confused. How did I get here?" Bleu asked, slowly lifting my head to look into his eyes.
God! I'm in love with his ocean blue eyes, his brunette hair, and the way he slowly lifted my head. He looks kind of cute on that infirmary bed, I'm not going to lie...
"Hello? Did you hear my question? Earth to Luna!" Bleu waved his hands at me like a maniac, trying to get my attention.
"Oh sorry! I'm just kinda tired from what happened just now," I replied, shaking my head to regain my composure.
"Well, do you mind telling me what had happened? Why am I on this bed, in the infirmary?" Bleu repeated.
"You don't remember anything at all?" I genuinely asked.
"No duh, that's why I'm asking you!" Bleu replied, kind of annoyed.
"Okay, so what do you remember then?" I asked.
He sighed, trying to recall what he remembered.
"Oh! I remember sitting in Sign class. waiting for our Sign Class mentor and that's everything." He said.
"Well then let me get to the point but you have to promise me not to freak out okay?" I looked into his eyes, practically begging him not to scream.
"Okay.." He replied, feeling a bit frightened by my actions.
"Okay so, our teacher was teaching us, her name is Mrs. Higgins but we call her Mrs. H for short. You just finished introducing yourself to the class and talked about your aunt, who sent you off to this academy for being in quotation marks, sick. That's when everyone started laughing and murmuring about what they heard." I explained.
"Okay, go on..." Bleu said quickly, feeling slightly impatient.
"Just when you heard those murmurs, you asked the class what was going on and Mrs. Higgins told us, the class, to shut up. She explained that this school was for.." I stopped, thinking about what to say so I don't shock Bleu.
"For what? For what!" Bleu angrily asked.
"This academy is for those who have powers. This isn't a normal academy, it's an academy for students to learn more about their powers and to improve on them. Hence, the lesson 'Sign class'." I bluntly spoke.
"Oh my! This can't be for real right? I don't have powers. I'm a normal human being and you're lying to me, you're just trying to trick me!" Bleu exclaimed.
"No Bleu! Why would I even lie and make up all of these excuses? Just so you could leave this academy? Well, hell no! I would never! Bleu, you're such a good friend to me, I wouldn't want you to leave! Please trust me.." I said, frantically holding his hand and looking up at his eyes, wanting him to trust me.
"Can you please prove it to me then? I do trust you and I do like being your friend too but I just don't trust any of this bullshit right now!" Bleu took his hand back, letting me go.
"Fine! I'll do it for you!" I stood up, slamming my chair into the wall behind me.
Bleu's POV
"Fine! I'll do it for you!" Luna shouted, slamming the chair into the wall behind her.
She stood a few inches away from a vase that lay on top of a small circular brown table. She held her hand up and began chanting something I've never heard before.
"Herles hi majui besita" She chanted.
A few seconds later, I saw the vase slowly lifting from the table and slowly floating towards me. I was completely shocked! I couldn't believe that this was happening. As soon as I could completely comprehend what was happening, I saw the vase landing on top of another table, closest to me, with a thud.
"Now do you believe me?" Luna asked, glaring at me.
"Um, wait. Let me hold it for a second. I think you're just playing tricks with me" I said.
"Oh give me a break! Don't tell me you didn't believe what just happened in front of your eyes, ten seconds ago!" Luna screamed.
I just looked at her and got up from my bed, eyeing the vase. I put both of my hands onto the vase, each hand on each side of the vase and began to turn it around.
"See! There's nothing right! No wires, no strings, there's nothing attached to it!" Luna threw her hands up, frantically trying to prove her point. I let go of the vase and turned behind, looking at her.
"Fine, there's nothing. I trust you. I'm sorry." I apologized.
"It's fine. I wouldn't believe it too if I were you... It's not your fault." She said, smiling at me.
Just as we were about to hug, like what usually happens in movies or storybooks, Chad had to open the door and interrupt our conversation.
