The man of my dreams

Ashlyn POV It’s 4am I wake up from my dream which I have been having for awhile now and I just can’t pinpoint why. I just don’t understand why he looks like Asher that lives next door to me, I have always liked him since I was younger. But it probably will never happen anyway. I guess I fell back asleep because the next time I looked at the clock it was 9am, oh shoot I just realized I was late for school I had overslept from waking up early this morning because of my dream last night. I hurry and get dressed, I was wearing a white basic T-shirt, a cardigan, ripped jeans, and vans. I grabbed my back pack, my keys, and ran down the stairs. My mom said hey! Take a bagel with you on the way out so you at least have something for breakfast. I don’t want you starving sweetie, my mom said. Ok mom, I’m running late it’s after 9 now and I’m super late for school, which started a hour ago. Honey do you just want to skip today since your already late anyway, we could make it a girls day, we can go shopping and get our nails done. Ok! Mom, as I head back up stairs. Call me down, when your ready to go, I said. I head back up stairs, to my bedroom window, I look at the scenery, the sky is so pretty, there a slight hint of purple and blue, there’s yellow and orange, it’s so beautiful.There’s mountains, and the sun hasn’t came fully up yet, so it’s like the prettiest thing I have ever seen. Ya know, besides the hot guy that lives next door to me. We grew up together, our families are really good friends. We both know we have feelings for each other we just never really admitted it. So, I text him to see what he is doing this weekend, to see if he wanted to hang out. Asher texted back and said that he was busy, he was going to a party, why? I said, oh I was just seeing if you wanted to hang, and go boating this weekend. I can talk to mom and dad and see if we are doing anything as a family this weekend, and if not then I’m all your?, Asher said. Ok, just let me know, so I can tell mom that I have plans this weekend, I said. Ok I will, bye. Asher said.
