Loney Road Ahead part 2

“I just really need a friend right now, so please… I promise I won’t be a bother…” Cameron continued begging while looking up at him, his pleading expression similar to that of a puppy. “You’re… impossible… fine…” Samuel who couldn’t really do much but hear him out decided to lend him an ear. Cameron looked happy as he headed to the fridge and grabbed the bears he had there, then to one of the liquor cabinets. “Actually my wife and I… we were supposed to be celebrating our 12th anniversary this year… I bought this for that occasion but I guess now it’s not really…” “Whatever just let me drink so I can listen to your blabbering easier.” Samuel wasn’t going to mince his words, he never did, it was one of his bad qualities, due to not being a very social person he never really followed any pre-determined social pleasantries, thus… was his attitude that most would find un-appealing. But at that moment to Cameron, having someone who was honest felt somewhat refreshing. “I wish my wife would have been like you, just telling the truth without really caring… she was a good woman so much so I had no idea she was unhappy while with me.” “Why did you two get separated anyways? Did you cheat?” Samuel asked while opening the first can of beer and taking a large swing of it. “No, and neither did she… it was just… She wanted someone that made her feel alive and apparently I was just too plain.” Cameron explained with a bit of a shrug to himself. “And so? What’s wrong with plain? And why did she wait this long?” Samuel asked. “If it were me I would have been gone years ago.” “She wanted to make sure that Cynthia would grow up well… and now that she’s in school I guess… that was enough for her.” Cameron explained while looking down at the beer can, then suddenly he chugged it all in a single breath. “She… never hated me, is what she told me… Claudia didn’t hate me but she didn’t love me anymore either…” He cried as he closed his eyes, the tears rolling down to the sides of his cheeks. “Haa… what a pain…” Samuel thought to himself as he looked at the man. Somehow Cameron was a very gentle person, his wife was someone really strong willed, so much so he’d never seen her cry. “Are you just going to spend your days sulking? How about you try and go out with someone again?” It was all the advice he could come up with at the moment. “Who would even want someone like me?” Cameron questioned as he looked at the man through his blurry crying eyes. “It’s not like… I’m anything special, and I cry a lot and I have a daughter, no one wants so much baggage…” He said as he opened up a second can of beer and downed it quickly. “Stop drinking so fast, you’ll piss yourself…” Samuel warned him as he leaned back against the couch. ‘What am I supposed to tell this guy to make him feel better?’ He wondered quietly, watching him he couldn’t say the man was ugly. In fact Cameron was tall, his face had good and clean features, his hair was always tidy and his body was hardened by labor in his early years. Even nowadays he made it a point to exercise as part of his daily routine. So it wasn’t the man’s looks that held him back as much as it was his personality. “…then yet even someone so pathetic can be rather cute sometimes…” Involuntarily those words escaped Samuel’s lips in a low mutter. “Cute?” Cameron paused as he stared at the man with wide eyes. “You think I’m cute?” He questioned with a rather serious expression upon his face. “Not exactly cute…” Now that Samuel had dug a hole for himself he had to get out of it somehow. “I just think some women would think that you’re not that bad, and maybe find you endearing, you know, those really strong types…” He explained. “Do you… find me endearing?” Cameron asked as he leaned in closer. “What are you even saying?!” Samuel remarked as he slammed the can onto the table top. “I knew it… I’m ugly…” Cameron cried harder than ever before. “I’ll never find someone that wants me… I’m just… so gross and my wife was right to leave me!” He continued, each tear that rolled down his face seemed larger than the last one. “Ugh, f**k… quiet down… you look fine! You’re actually really handsome for a dad, alright?” Samuel who couldn’t stand people crying in front of him yelled out to silence him. He grabbed the man’s face and pulled him in. “If you weren’t such a f*****g crybaby maybe you’d be able to pull someone-” He was interrupted. “Do you… think I’m good looking?” Cameron asked with a pause as if he was surprised. Samuel let go of the man’s face. “That’s what I said!” He confirmed. “Dammit… making me repeat myself…” He complained as he grabbed his can of beer once more and raised it up to his lips, then suddenly it was something else that touched his lips before the can could… Cameron had pulled the man in for a kiss and held onto him tightly. ‘What is this guy’s deal?!’ Samuel wondered to himself as the kiss they shared was incredibly one sided, it felt more like an attack than anything else. His mouth was being forcibly open and invaded by Cameron’s tongue who was incredibly persistent for a drunk man, or maybe it was because he was drunk that this persistence showed through… Chapter 3: One Night Stand *** “Ngh… mgh…” Whether Samuel wanted to admit it or not the man’s lips that touched his, the technique, the scent… it wasn’t half bad. “You’re seriously drunk…” Finally when he managed to get away from the man’s desperate grasp he pulled back. “I… really miss her…” Cameron’s voice sounded hollow, although the divorce wasn’t as recent anymore, it had been a few months, why was it that this man was completely unable to move on? “Hey listen… I’m not some replacement for that woman, so you better get your act together.” Samuel’s voice wasn’t any less cruel than before as the man clung to his waist. “You’re beautiful…” Cameron spoke in a quiet voice. “Ha… and you’re hopeless…” Samuel felt bad for this man, day drinking and kissing your neighbor wasn’t on his to do list that day. ‘I have to get back and work but…’ He glanced once more at the man that held onto him as if he were his last hope. ‘…if I leave this i***t by himself he’s going to show such a pathetic side to his daughter…’ He thought to himself. “…what do I care?” He spoke out loud unwittingly. “I know… no one cares about me, not even you…” Cameron said while brushing his hands against his face, desperately trying to wipe off his tears but it was to no avail. “You were just trying to be nice and I… I did something like that to you.” “Ugh… not again…” Samuel grabbed the man’s shoulders and head butted him without so much as a warning. “Pull. Yourself. Together.” He demanded once more. “Ouch!!! That hurt! That seriously hurt! It hurt so much!” Cameron began weeping once more this time because of the physical pain more so than the one in his lonely heart. “I don’t care. Get up and go shower to clear your head… and get rid of THAT…” Samuel said as he averted his gaze, he didn’t wish to believe it but Cameron had gotten hard after their kiss that day. “Please help me…” Cameron begged as his legs were unable to stand up. “You can’t be serious… I can’t go in the shower with you.” Samuel said as he helped the man stand up. “Just take me there I’ll be fine.” Cameron reassured him. They headed to the bathroom and Samuel placed the man in the bath tub. “I’ll go clean up the mess in the kitchen now.” Samuel told him and the other man waved at him as if to agree but didn’t say anything, his expression as if he was going to vomit any minute. “What a mess…” Samuel began cleaning up in the kitchen when he heard a loud thud coming from the bathroom. He rushed over only to see the man half dressed and on the ground. “I need help…” Cameron said as he looked up at the man. Samuel reluctantly pulled up his sleeves and entered the bathroom. There shouldn’t be anything too weird about two men seeing each other naked only… it was that Samuel didn’t wish to see that man in particular, naked. The reason being simple… not just because Samuel liked men but because for some strange coincidence this pathetic mess of a man that Cameron is, was exactly Samuel’s type physically. “I really ask so much of you… I’m sorry…” Cameron who now seemed to have sobered up a bit spoke in a low manner as the other bathed him thoroughly. “You should be sorry actually… instead of working I’m here bathing a grown man…” Samuel once more having no intention of acting sweet towards the man simply scrubbed them with his left over anger. “Your lips are swollen… did I do that?” Cameron asked as he turned to face the man, he touched the man’s reddened lips with his fingertips. “Who else? You think I go around making out with all the neighbors?” Samuel was slightly even offended at the suggestion. “I hope you’ve sobered up because the moment you get out of the shower I will head out too…” He warned him. “So is it just me then?” Cameron chuckled lightly as if he found it all very amusing. He still seemed rather drunk, the way his face was flushed in a bright red color and the way the man seemed so unabashedly careless. He pulled Samuel into the bath tub with him. “Whoa… this is really…” Samuel glared at the man that simply smiled back at him. “You are really caring… I love that about you.” Cameron spoke in a low manner, his hand creeping up the man’s pants. “I think you’ll be very disappointed with what you will find there, so I suggest you stop now.” Instead of moving the man’s hand Samuel allowed him to touch him, so that the man would snap out of it himself. But to his surprise that wasn’t the case. Cameron played with the man’s crotch for a while. “Stop that… you’re doing things you wouldn’t do sober…” Samuel warned him while grabbing his hand. But Cameron looked upset, he pulled the man in and leaned in between his legs. Without much warning he placed his lips onto Samuel’s length and sucked on it enthusiastically. “No, what are you doin- ngh… wh… wait… I’m not your wife-!” Samuel said with a heated breath, he tried to push the man but a part of him really didn’t want to push him away. Would he be a bad person if he were to indulge in this instead of doing what was right and pull back? “I know you’re not her…” Cameron spoke lowly after Samuel ejaculated, the man didn’t seem to be able to hear him at all. Cameron had a complicated expression on his face. Was all that night really a coincidence or was the man doing this intentionally? “Haa… ha…. Ugh….” Samuel felt like his legs were giving out as Cameron moved his hand up and down both their lengths. “…since when… you… and…” Samuel couldn’t find the words to speak anymore it was as if his mind was completely absent. It was like his body was moving on his own and he couldn’t do anything to stop it even if he wanted to… and a small part of him didn’t want to stop at all… It was opportunistic maybe… but Samuel being the man he was, and as socially awkward as he was had become involuntarily abstinate when it came to s*x. If Samuel had more confidence maybe he’d go and hire someone but he had been stuck doing things on his own instead. So this was the first time in a very long time since his last relationship, that another man had touched him… And whether he wanted to admit it or not, the reality of it all was that he was feeling too good to even make heads or tails out of what was happening. “I just… I’m cumming again…” Samuel said as he leaned over Cameron’s shoulder. Now completely submerged in the hot water together his fuzzy head was becoming just slightly more clear than before… “You’re really… beautiful…” Again Cameron repeated the same thing but it felt so awkward to Samuel who had never been called that before. ‘Whatever… I don’t need to think about it…’ Samuel sighed as he closed his eyes, he’d dozed off before he knew what was happening… His entire body had completely relaxed after the sudden wave of pleasure that had penetrated all of him… As Samuel completely fell asleep the expression on Cameron’s face changed, he slowly made his way out of the bath tub and carried Samuel to his bed where he dried him off and put a blanked over him. Cameron sat there at the edge of the bed for a while watching the man sleep, he reached out his hand to touch the side of the man’s cheek but then pulled his hand back before actually making contact to his skin. “…beautiful…” Cameron muttered under his breath and stood up leaving the room, that night he slept on the sofa of his own apartment… By the end of that night it was left to wonder which man was the more confused one... And more than that, did Cameron's actions mean anything more than the nonsense of a drunken man? Or... was he drunk at all? Cameron laid onto the sofa for a while then grabbed yet another can of beer off the table top, then noticed it was the one that Samuel had been drinking off before. He noticed by the fact it was no longer sparkly anymore, as he took a large gulp from the drink and the liquid that had gone stale filled his lips he was reminded of the passionate kiss they had. Laying back down Cameron closed his eyes. "I actually did it..." He spoke in a low breath not really knowing what to make of himself... END of Lonely Road Ahead
