Zephyr's POV

 Ris

 Ris

 I run my hands through my hair. It's been an hour, but her name keeps on echoing inside my head. What's with that girl? I'm unbelievable.

"Zephyr?! The heck ka! Kanina pa kita hinahanap!" I saw Mya running in my direction while shouting. 

       She sits beside me while gasping for air. I take a glance of her for two seconds. She looks so tired. 

"Si Dwight." She said. When I heard that bastard's name, my anger towards him started to grow again. He's an asshole, an evil asshole.

"What about him?" I saw annoyance in her eyes. She placed a plastic bag between us and open it. I saw a bunch of apple inside it.

"He's pestering me again!" She retorted.

"What happened?" I ask her while eating the apple she brought.  

"Look at this f*****g wound! We had a fight earlier and he's still asking for my freaking' eyes! I hate him! He's insane! Evilly insane!" The annoyance in her eyes changes into anger.

        Dwight is still asking for her eyes?  What's his plan?

"What did you told him?" I asked then I throw the apple away.

"Ofcourse, a big big NO. I don't care about my damn power, but I do care about my life. If he take my eyes, obviously, I'll die. Is he even thinking?" She retorted again while bitting on her apple.

"What happened with your fight?" She pout.

"Huwaaaaa! Syempre talo ako! Ano namang laban ko sa evil na yun?! Pwe, demonyo talaga siya to the max power!" I smirk.

"The more you hate, the more you love." I stand up and started walking away, I know she'll punch me when she realize what I've said.

"ZEPHYR!" She's really loud. But I like her, big time.

Athena's POV

"Damn you!" Napasigaw ako ng bigla akong gulatin ni manok at daldalita. Wala talagang magawa sa buhay ang mga to! Nakakainis.

"Wahahahahaha, yung mukha mo Athena!" Tinignan ko sila ng masama kaya tumitigil sila sa pagtawa ng MALAKAS. Nagsimula naman silang tumawa ng mahina. I.WILL.KILL.THEM.

"Run for your lives, Idiots!" Sigaw ko kaya tumakbo na sila. Hawak hawak ko ang tinidor na ginamit ni daldalita sa pagkain. I'll kill them using this thing. They're getting into my f*****g nerves!

"Hahahahahaha. Tinidor?! Hahahaahha," Manok said while running. Damnit!

"What the?! HAHAHAHAHA. Patawa ka Athena!" Sigaw naman ni daldalita. I swear, I'll kill them!

"Shut up! Face your death, stupid!" Sigaw ko sa kanila ng malapit ko na silang maabot.

"WAAAAA!" Sigaw nilang dalawa.

"Catch you!" Sabi ko ng mahila ko ang mga damit nila. Magkasabay naman silang sumigaw ng,

"Huwaaaaaa!" Napapikit ako dahil sa lakas ng sigaw nila.

"Shut the f*ck up!" Sigaw ko, sabay ko silang iniharap sa akin.

"Huwaa, Athena, close naman tayo, wag mo akong patayin, si Jensen muna!" Nagmamakaawang sabi ni manok. Insane.

"Kyaaa! Bakit ako?! SI Lian muna! Hindi ko pa nasusubmit yung test paper ko! Waa!" Sigaw ni Daldalita. Marami ng taong nakatingin sa amin. I didn't expect what I did after I saw their freaking' faces,

"Pfffft. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA" I laugh while holding my tummy. Their faces, it is so funny!

       Napahinto ako ng makita ko silang gulat na gulat. I'm confused but when I realized what I just did. My jaw fall on the ground.

       DID I JUST LAUGH?!

Zephyr's POV

     I'm stunned when I saw Ris laughing. I can't believe it. I didn't expect her in that kind of momentum. Her laugh... It's like music to my ears. What's happening to me? Damn.

     Without thinking, I grab her right arm away from her stupid 'friends'. They're not even moving. Even them, we're flabbergast.

"You're unbelievable." I told her when we already reach the field. No one's here because of their classes.

"I did that?" She asked herself. Even her, she's amazed about what she did earlier.

"Yeah?" I answered her. She look at me.

"Anong ginagawa natin dito?" She asked me while scanning the whole place.

"I don't know. I'm bored, so, accompany me." I ordered her.

"I'm not your slave, moron." She rolled her eyes.

"Just do it, stupid." I rest my back on the tree.

"Damn you! I'm not stupid." She retorted. This is the first time I saw her like this.

"Let's play a game." I told her.

"The hell?"

"Let's play rock, paper, scissor, the winner will ask questions to the loser and the loser must tell the truth." I explained to her. She smirked and nodded to me. We started playing the game.

"Talo ako." She told me. Oh, we have the same perception in playing this game?

     Rock is stronger than the paper, which means that if a rock hit the paper hard, it will be devastated. Yes, the paper can cover the rock, but the paper can't break a rock.

"Who's your mother?" I asked her. I just want to know this, let us just start with the basic.

"I dont know, I don't have any idea." She answered me. Poor girl, she doesn't even had the chance to meet her parents.

Me, rock.

Her, scissor.

"Loser." She teased me. I'm really daze with her.

      Even though rock is stiff, metal is still harder than the rock. I don't know what's gotten into the normal people's perception about this game.

"You know me?" She asked. I smiled at her before answering,

"Yes." I answered bravely.

"What's your real name?" We have spoken in chorused. We both smile.

"Athena Iris/ Zeus Oxford" We stare at each other for ten long seconds. Oh, I noticed that she is wearing a contact lense. For what reason?

Me, scissor

Her, Rock

"How are you related to Ion?" I asked her, I saw that her eyes is full of little confusion. I think, she didn't know that I know Ion all along.

"A friend?" She answered. 

Me, paper

Her, rock

"How are you related to Ion?" She asked me the same question I've asked her previously.

"My ex bestfriend." I told her the truth. Her eyes is full of questions right now. I know that she have a lot of things in her mind. I know that this game will give her more enigma. Her brain is crowded right now. I can read her reactions effortlessly, her emotions are so accessible.

"How come?" She asked me. Her face is traced with confusion.

"10 years ago, we're the best bud. But, nothing last forever, so we broke up." I tried to joke so the tension in the atmosphere will lessen, but nothing happens.

Me, scissor

"Why did you laugh?" I changed the topic. The informations is enough for her. I don't want to give her more confusion.

"Because of the two dumb ladies with those funny expressions." She answered me while staring in the clouds.

Athena's POV

Me, rock

Him, scissor

"This is your first time, umm, err, laughing? Right?" Tanong niya sa akin. What's with the hesitation?

"Yes." Sagot ko sa kaniya.

"Okay, let's stop this. Let's just take a walk." Sabi niya. ang bilis naman magsawa ng isang to. Pero ayos na din yun, mas lalo lang kasing nadadagdagan ang mga gumugulo sa utak ko.

      Tumayo muna siya, medyo ikinagulat ko ang sumunod na ginawa niya. I didn't expect na gentleman din pala ang isang to. Inilahad niya sa akin ang kamay niya upang tulungan akong tumayo.

      Mas kinabigla ko ng hawakan ko ang kamay niya. What the heck is happening to me? Masyadong maraming nagyari sa araw na to.

      Agad akong napabitiw sa kamay niya ng makatayo na ako.

"When is your birthday?" Tanong niya sa akin. Napaisip naman ako. I don't know.

"Hindi ko alam." Napatingin siya sa akin dahil sa sinagot ko. Nagkasalubong ang mga mata namin, hay, nakakatakot talaga siyang tumingin. Am I afraid? Damn.

"Seriously?" Tanong niya ulit sa akin. Nagnod naman ako sa kaniya.

"I don't celebrate my birthday. And, I don't believe in it." Sagot ko. tignan ko nalang ang dinadaanan namin.

"My birth, it is not worth celebrating." Dugtong ko pa.

"I'm born once, so? I never experience happiness in my entire life so I don't want to celebrate my existence. I really don't get a human's perception. They celebrate their existence every year, but, are they happy with their lives? I don't think so."

"Likewise, I can't understand them." Sagot niya sa akin.

"I believe that you only have the license to celebrate when you're contented. But, humans, they will never be satisfied. So, they are not worth it." I said coldly. Kaya ayaw na ayaw ko sa mga tao. Kailan ba sila makokontento? Tsk.

"You spite them so much, huh?" Huminto kami at umupo sa isang upuan. 

"Yes. Not actually them, but the way they think, its disastrous." Wala naman talaga akong pakielam kung ano sila at kung papaano nila ililigtas ang mga sarili sa mundong ito. But there is something inside me. It's like, telling me that I must, that I should and I have to.

"Ouch, are you saying that, my view point is catastrophic too?" He said while holding his chest. What an actor.

"Am I hitting on you? Don't worry, you're an exception. I like the you. I don't feel any grudge towards you." I told him honestly. I like Dwight too, but this guy beside me, he's very different with Dwight.

      He's more appropriate for me.

       Wait? What am I talking about? s**t. Sinabi ko bang mas appropriate siya para sa akin? Damn thoughts.

"No, but, I'm a human too." I look at him suspiciously.

"Really?" I said playfully. Tinignan naman niya ako ng masama.

"Do I look like an ugly creature in your eyes?" He asked me annoyingly.

"Hahahaha, a little." I saw his eyes full of shock. What's with his face?

      s**t, did I just laugh? Again?! I can't believe it.

"I think, you should start celebrating your existence," Sabi niya sa akin. Seryoso ba to? Nakaramdam ba talaga ako kanina ng,

Saya?

"I think so." Sagot ko nalang. All along, akala ko hindi ko kailanman mararamdaman ang kasiyahan dahil bawal daw akong magmahal. Akala ko sa pagmamahal lang makakamit ang kasiyahan. Mali pala ako. Marami pa nga akong hindi alam sa mundong ito.

"Should I declare that this day is your..." Nginitian ko siya. I really don't know when is my birthday because it doesn't make sense, knowing the date of your existence.

"So, happy birthday Ris." Napangiti ako sa sinabi niya. 

"Salamat." Sagot ko. I can't believe it. Isang tao ang nagbigay ng araw ng kaarawan ko. But, I'm happy.

"It's already our dismissal. We better get going." Sabi niya sabay tayo. Tumayo na din ako.

      Nagpunta na siya sa direksyon ng back gate. Mukhang dito siya lalabas. Nagpunta na din ako sa direksyon ng main gate.

      Before we separate our own ways,

"Ris." Huminto ako. Naramdaman ko ang paglapit niya sa akin.

         Humarap ako sa kaniya. Matagal kaming nagkatitigan bago siya muling nagsimula.

"Thank you." He said.

       I'm about to nod, but I'm dumbfounded on the next thing he did.

       He kissed me.
