Chapter 14 The next few weeks were the happiest Rory could ever remember. A tiny part of him wondered when the other shoe, or cowboy boot, was going to drop. Zane took to his reading lessons very well: Rory’s inexpert diagnosis, based on online testing, was that Zane was dyslexic. This had led to a heated discussion—bordering on an argument—where Zane said dyslexia proved he was stupid, and Rory insisted he wasn’t. However, when Rory bought some different colored films to lay over Zane’s reading books, and showed the big man a special dyslexia font on his tablet, Zane found his reading speed and word accuracy picked up markedly.
