The Alpha excused Beta Daniel before shutting the door firmly behind him, leaving himself and Dex in the office alone. He stayed by the door, head c****d slightly as he listened for the sound of his front door opening and closing behind the Beta. When the sound finally came, Jay heaved a small sigh of relief. With Olivia busy today, it left the house void of any other life outside that room.
