"But daddy I don't want a change of school, I've already gotten used to my class mates and teachers I don't want to change oo" I said stumping my feet but stopped as I saw the eye my dad was giving me, daddy now I said trying to change his mind the best I can. "Young lady I'm not having a change of heart it's either you make up your mind that you're going to Crystal's academy if not you will go and work in mummy chuka's tailoring shop o"" I turned to my mum for help but she shook her head telling to just accept...I don't think anyone can help me at this point even my elder sister could not help. I just don't like the idea of changing school and meeting new people, I'm really going to miss my friends. Right now I'm in the room I share with my sister but I have it all to my self because she's in school, the university to be precise and I'm looking for a way to tell my friends I'm changing schools. After telling my friends about my dad's decision to change my school we cried over the phone, saying how we'd miss each other. Two weeks later , After all the going to the market and listening to my mum yell at me for being sluggish, and with good reasons, standing for hours on a Tuesday morning , just so I have to arranged my things for school and I'm resuming on a Saturday, so what was the point?!. Well I won't say I wasn't anxious because, I definitely was. Faye!!!! Yes, that's my name, Faye Shagaya. And I have two siblings, my older sister Jade ,and off course the person who is yelling my name right now, my annoying younger sister Pamela . "What is it?" I yelled back at her "Daddy said you should be ready in 30 minutes o" she replied "I have heard " I told her "Sha me I've told you o" she replied "Get out " I said to her At times like this I wish I had a brother instead of the mini demon in front of my room, don't get me wrong I love my sister it's just sometimes she's...ahhhh so annoying I can't even explain. After she left I got up and decided to go out to wait for my dad. I had on a slim fitted body con dress that stretched down my ankles and a simple strap on sandal. One thing I love about me is my body shape so the body con was really showing it which I love because I have to flaunt it. I made a mad Sprint out of the house, knowing fully well that if I don't get to the car immediately ,my dad would lose his mind. He was not fond of tardiness, especially if a time was set for something to be done. And if I'm late I might be going to school with tears in my eyes. "Why are you wearing your house wear instead of your uniform?" my dad asked, and immediately I stepped out. "Daddy I haven't collected it yet nah, I have to get to the school first then it'll be given to me " I replied "Okay get into the car let's start going we don't want to be late " he said "Daddy its you o, you're the one that don't want to be late. I don't even want to go to the school'. was what I would have liked to say right now, but I didn't. "Faye" My dad called,his voice a bit calm,, but I was still upset by his decision to change my school. "Yes daddy" "I know you don't want to go to this school but it's one of the best schools and we really want the best for, we want you to have the best experience and better education so please don't be upset with us" my dad said " Yes daddy " I replied "And know that we love you . Oh make sure you manage whatever you've been given alright " he said said bringing the accountant in him . Why daddy? why do you have to spoil the mood I was getting emotional . off course still in my head. Four hours later. it was a long drive there. "Faye! We're already there, wake up" my dad called me I usually sleep when traveling because why not ? I yawned rising to see the schools gate with the name of the school written boldly on top, and the schools logo with a sheep in a green pasture field which signifies meekness and the need to grow. And the motto which says knowledge and power On entering the school the sight that greeted me was the beautiful flowers that were arranged and trimmed aesthetically around the school. Even if the school looks nice that still does not change my mind. After being checked by a teacher who I later got to know as my form teacher whose name is Mr. Adele. The form teacher of the science class oh yeah I'm a science student (SS2A) After being checked I was given my uniforms, the colors of the uniforms are actually mad , I love the colors...they are in the color of white long sleeve shirt, navy blue flay skirt, navy blue tie and a navy blue blazer then I was taken to my hostel and room. " We have four hostels Peace, Joy, Love and self control house and you're in peace but every student house is changed every section just so you can be ready if you hear that your hostel is going to be changed next section oh and then you'll be in room 3 of peace house" said our hostel metron.
