Lisa POV: Evelyn added, "So like I said, this is my brother Ace," as she gave her brother a quick glance. "How long has he been in a coma?" I questioned quietly. "2 weeks now." Glancing first at him, then at me, she said. "Have any doctors given anything to him?" I inquired once more. Given the appearance of his body, why was he in a prolonged coma? Evelyn laughed and added, "Yes, I don't know their names," before passing the bottles to me. "Uhm what kind of accident did he have?" As I asked, I saw that I was staring down at my patient. Evelyn added, "It was a car accident," as her voice grew quiet. "He was driving when another car ran a red light and hit his car." She hesitated, obviously finding it difficult to discuss the specifics. "I have a feeling he will wake up, even though the doctors think he might not. My sibling is a combatant. That's what I have to think." Her speech carried emotion, and I was struck with sympathy for her. I understood how difficult it must be for her to witness her brother's actions. I tried to console her by putting my hand on her shoulder. "He is lucky to have you as his sister," I replied. "I know you're doing everything you can for him, and that's all anyone can ask for." With watery eyes, she gave a nod. She said, "Thank you," in a whisper. I smiled a little at her. "Now, let's go over his daily routine, shall we?" With a determined gaze back in her eyes, she nodded after inhaling deeply. "Yes, let's do this." "He requires assistance with all of his daily needs," I said. "This covers eating, dressing, and taking a shower. We'll tackle it one step at a time, even though I realize it's a lot. Are you willing to participate in this?" To make sure Evelyn was comfortable with all we would be doing, I asked. She inhaled deeply before nodding one more. I am capable of doing this. For Ace. Her commitment to her brother encouraged me, and I nodded and grinned. "Okay then, let's get started." "I thought you were hungry Lisa?" Evelyn spoke quietly. Why was her tone so composed? Sure, but that can wait for a bit, I grinned. Evelyn laughed and added, "Nonsense, come on, we got lots of time for this, let's go fill your tummy." After giving her a slow nod, I followed her out of the room. I took care to approach the door slightly. It took us a few of turns to get to the kitchen. "What would you like to eat?" Evelyn enquired. I muttered, "Uhn anything is fine," not sure what to ask for. Evelyn replied quietly, "The maids are going to make a lot of meals, just pick one, please." I looked away from her eyes and mumbled, "Uhm, I'll like noodles please." I felt as though she was peering into my soul with those emerald eyes. After giving a maid instructions over the phone, she left the house. I trailed after her carefully, unsure of what action to do. "You know, you are the second nurse arriving here," Evelyn replied. "Why did she leave so quickly?" I questioned incoherently. Evelyn laughed quietly and remarked, "Oh, she was scared of my brother, saying he was too big and he looked like someone who could kill her." After listening and shaking my head, I sat down. "When Ace wakes up, I won't be around anymore." Making me look up, she said. "Why, isn't this your house also?" I enquired. "Nop, it's his, Ace hates me and some of our family." With a sweet voice, she spoke. "So I'll be left with him?, Would he accept that?" I noticed that I was inquiring. Evelyn muttered the last line, "Hehe, you see, his a complicated Man, and his very rude." "So how will I take care of him?" I questioned incoherently. "You're going to make things work, my love," she smiled. "Ah, the food is here." Grinning, she said. I gave her a brief glance before turning to focus at my meal. I had no idea what to do. Why had Dr. Kingston not told me about this earlier? I've never shared a house with a man before, and this one treats people so rudely. I picked up my spoon and ate gently, shaking my head. I have time to make up my mind because he is in a coma and we don't know when he will wake up. "Are you going to leave also?" Evelyn asked, and I heard. I briefly believed that she was reading my mind, or that I may have uttered it unintentionally. "I just don't see why I should," I grinned. ......... "Oh thank you so much, this means a lot." remarked in an even tone. I nodded and turned back to stare at my meal. After I finished, I gathered up my dishes, but Evelyn assured me that the maids would take care of the cleanup. "I'd like to go to bed, is that ok?" Silently, I inquired. She gave me a brief glance before nodding her head and keeping a constant smile on her face. Something was wrong here; she was far too polite. I turned to go back upstairs. I looked around to make sure I was alone. I turned to face Ace's chamber again. I glanced down at his body once more. She claimed Ace was in a vehicle accident, but I can't see any marks on his skin, so it didn't make sense. He appeared to be in wonderful health. For him to have been in a coma for this long, though, it appeared that he was administering an injection. circling his room. I shook my head and picked up the first injection vial. All of them were too heavy for someone who had been in a collision. Thank goodness I always carry my medicine bag with me, so I hurriedly made my way to my room to grab it. The ghost was clearly visible as I looked down at the stairs. Quietly, I went into his room and shut the door. When I was finished, I let out a sigh. I hurried up to Ace and took out the injection from his skin. I needed to find out what this injection meant, so I emptied the remaining ones into a container. Other than this, they gave him no one. I then gave him my injection very swiftly. not to draw attention to oneself. After emptying and cleaning the interior of the previous bottle, I inserted all of my shots. Hence, whoever gives him his medication would believe it is the original. I smiled after completing all the tasks. glancing down at Ace I couldn't help but wonder why someone was abusing him one last time. Again, though, this is Earth; you won't know whom to believe. until everything had been completed. I remembered to give him one more glance as I left the room.
