The Blue Wolf

Chapter 3

(Lylla)

​Seven days since I had started talking to Daman on a regular basis, and today I had felt horrible pain. I knew that Daman was in his challenge fighting for his life and I was very scared that he would not be coming home but I had to have hope even when the scares showed up on my side. Five claw marks from the top of my shoulder black to the bottom of my ribcage next to my stomach. After feeling that pain I decided that a walk down to the lake was in order I had finished my school work for the day and no training till Jarvis and Rebecca came back from their job and tomorrow was a relaxing day for them cause they were going to go have a date.

​I decided that I should take my phone with me after swiching into my swim suit that I had bought this week it was a two piece so my new scars did show which sadden me but if he survived then I would wear them with pride. This week had been crazy not only was I doing normal school but also queen training and history training so I was learning a lot. The blue wolf not only has wolves for her guards but a least one guard from every supernatural creature type that she governs. And it was imperative that I start getting them two years would go by fast. And according to my goddess and Mica it was time to start recruiting. I don’t have to come out of hiding but it was time to get my guards. Not just guards but doctors too. I would keep Jarvis and Rebecca as head doctor and guard. They had been with me the longest so far. I had also learned two of my powers. I could tell when someone was lying to me and I could heal but I had to go full queen mode my crown that was apart of my wolf would have to show to heal someone so I couldn’t use that yet.

​I had reached the water and had dipped my toes in when my phone rang my heart soared I knew it Daman had made it. “It’s good to hear that you made it Daman.”

​“Sorry Luna it’s not Daman its Andrew but I don’t want you to be alarmed he’s passed out so he couldn’t call in and check up with you but we are on our way home. He won he should be by no later than tomorrow evening if he wakes up by then.”

​“That’s good to hear drew. I’m glad he made it and how are the gashes?” I asked him I had started to call him drew instead of Andrew because it fit him so well.

​“You have scares don’t you? He wont be happy about that but they are healing well that’s why he’s passed out his body is healing from it. He will see you tomorrow my Luna.” Andrew said before I could say anything and ended the call.

​I was sad that I couldn’t talk to daman till tomorrow but that was okay I could wait I decided to take a few laps in the lake not to far out since it was a pretty large lake and I didn’t want to tire myself out to much. I swam for a for about an hour when I noticed someone was siting near my town on the edge of the lake just looking at me he had green hair and crystal blue eyes that would not stop looking at me, I swam closer but not to close. “Who are you and what do you want?”

​He bowed his head down and answered with melodic voice, “my queen, my name is Siros. And I would like the pleasure of being one of your guards to protect and serve you.”

​“How do you know who I am Siros?” getting out of the water and wrapping the towel around me I sat sext to him looking at me he had told the truth so I did not feel the need to run or call for Jarvis.

​“My queen my kind can see what is hidden like your crown. Our eyesight is some of the best in the world.” He looked at me with a smile. Moving slightly more towards the water.

​“And what are you exactly?” I was curios more and more about him there was much to discover about this world and I didn’t know much about who all I governed a subject that would be rectified emmedialty.

​“I am a merman my queen. There is not many of us left, there is a cavern connected to this lake that reaches all the way to the ocean which is how I found you I love coming here to think and to be alone. I have trained all my life to protect our queen and king but we do not have one anymore until I saw you swimming in the water above I believed that my purpose would never be fulfilled though we live hundreds of years very rarely do we get a king or a queen. Will you accept me my queen?” I couldn’t tell anything from his facial expression he had learned very well how to control his emotions something that would come in handy in the future. I knew that he was telling the truth and to be honest I wanted him here.

​“Yes, though you can’t tell anyone I’m out here yet I’m in hiding until such time that I expose myself you will need to stay here. There will be a chose of rooms for you on the third level.”

​“Thank you my queen. I do not have much anything I need I can get I’ve lived in the human world before and have a good savings account.” He smiled at me. “Are there any others yet?”

​“Please call me Lylla when we are alone with no one else around expect my team or my mate. And yes there are two others my head guard Jarvis you will meet him later when he gets back and my head doctor Jarvis mate Rebecca whom you will also met when she done with her day job. I’ve asked them to keep up appearances as if nothing has changed in their normal lives until I come out of hiding which will be made easier with you here to protect me.”

​“And their kind Lylla?" He eyes pierced mine.

​“Jarvis is a vampire and Rebecca is a werewolf formally from my mates pack.” I had to look away from him it felt like his eyes were piercing my very heart.

​“I’m sorry Lylla I keep forgetting you are not of my kind and I know the effects of my eyes can my mesmerizing I will work on it. But I believe it is time to get you out of those wet clothes.” Siros was a very kind but fierce man. He escorted me to my room so I could change and went to the third floor and chose the room that was formally Rebecca’s and Jarvis’s. Having him here in the home felt correct like it was meant to be.

​After taking a quick shower and putting on some fresh clothes that I had brought with me her I still hadn’t done any proper shopping a just a few pieces here and there when I could something that could be changed now that I had an extra guard. Heading down the stairs instead of taking the elevator I could hear voices arguing in one of the kitchens. I walked to Siros and Jarvis arguing Siros looked ready to kill. I didn’t know what the argument was about but I needed them to get along or having more here would never work.

​“Boys!!!!” I growled at them I had enough of their bickering. Couldn’t even tell what they were saying anymore. The minute I growled the both turned and looked at me with murder in their eyes. Don’t take that s**t. They have no right to look at you like that you chose them for our guard time for you to put them in their place you are queen. Mica said pissed she wanted to take over and rip their heads over but she new that we needed them. “Don’t you dare look at me that way!! I am your Queen and if you can’t get along then you have no business being here!”

​“I’m sorry my lady.” Jarvis said he temper completely gone I do not believe he thought that I would be so pissed off. “I did not know that you had invited this man in we were arguing about whether he had told the truth or not but with your statement I now know that he was.”

​Siros said nothing but he was no longer angry. Looking at these two bicker over me was ridiculous and I wanted to scream some more. “Do you think if I hadn’t realized that he was speaking the truth that he would even be in here? Or do you really doubt me so much?”

​“No my queen. I doubted him.” He said with a bow. I could no longer be angry with him he had been concerned and Siros had been defending his honor. I nodded my head at them both and grabbed an apple.​

​“Lylla, I know that you are still learning of the creatures that you will govern I would like you to learn and also I believe there is someone you should met I believe she would be a valuable asset to your guard.” This coming from Siros breaking the silence that had surrounded us.

​“Okay I agree that I needing to learn. Who is she?”

​“She is a witch, magi very old in this world and very powerful she is what we call a seer in my people she has the capability to see into the future.”

​“Invite her I will meet with her.”

​“Yes ma’am I will send her a message at once I would like to start teaching you tonight madam. Shall we go to the library?”

​“We shall Jarvis pick up Rebecca and enjoy and evening alone before your date tomorrow.”

Daman

​Waking up drowsily after being hurt is not always such and easy feet for me. I normally woke up angry but this time. This was wonderful. Meaning I would have a clear head when I met up with Lylla.

​“Daman?” I heard Andrews’s voice comes up from behind me looking over my shoulder I noticed we were still on a plane. Great just were I wanted to be.

​“I’m here. Where are we?” Was all that I could say.

​“About to land actually. We about two hours away from home. You be seeing her sooner than you think from the airport we will be heading to her she sent you the address earlier last night.” He said handing me orange juice and an aspirin.

​My side was no longer in pain but my head was killing me. I swallowed the aspirin and downed the orange juice with no complaint I was ecstatic that I would be seeing my Luna so soon and so was Luca. I wanted to see her, and I wanted her under me in bed but that would have to wait I had promised to take it slow though I really didn’t want to but if it made her happy then so be it. “Have the car brought around to pick us up I don’t want to go through the airport to it to much of a headache send the rest of the pack home your driving me to Lylla’s.”

​“Yes alpha.”

​For the next twenty minutes we sat in silence which allowed my headache to subside and all I could think was of her I could still see her face from the first time I saw her. Such beauty. Though I barely new her in person our phone conversations where the highlight of my day.

​“Bro, your shaking cool it we are touching down now. I’m going to get the car and we will head that way. Here call your girl.” Andrew handed me my phone after we touched down and went to go get the car.

​I took his advice and called her. A few rings in she answers. “Daman?”

​“Hey love I’m headed your way hope that’s okay?”

​“Of course I’ll have some food ready for you. You must be hungry. I know your hungry shut up!” I heard her say to me and to someone in the back ground. I heard a male voice that I didn’t recognize the next I heard was her saying “OHHH put a cone shell up your ass why don’t you.” Then nothing but laughter. “See you soon” and the line was disconnected.

​Something was going on and it had been funny. And I was going to find out heading out the jet into the car. We started driving to her home with no idea with what was going to be next.​

​We were finally pulling up to the property with a winding road that leads to large home. It was larger than my pack house and very beautiful and well light for the twilight hour. You could hear laughter and shouting coming from it once we had parked. I and Andrew walked up to the door and it opened and whom do I see but Rebecca laughing. “Alpha come on in us are in the kitchen two doors up and take a left follow it down three doors and take a right.”

​We follow the directions that she gave went through a coat room a wash room and a clear kitchen and entered a second kitchen that was not as large as the first. I see Lylla laughing while throwing fries at a man across from her and instantly I was jealous and angry. I started walking forward when the man grabbed her and put ketchup in her hair. No longer jealous I was just pissed Luca sprang forward. Instantly had the man pinned to the wall. “SHE IS MINE!”

​His eyes met mine and my grip loosened. I could hear Lylla screaming and could feel the power radiating of her. “Let him go now DAMAN STORM!!”

​I did not want to but did for her I did not like seeing her so angry. “Siros, are you okay?”

​“Yes ma’am.” The man that I had pinned to the wall told her.

​“You may leave. Jarvis!” she screamed behind her. He came back to the room and gave a slight bow which made me coursis what was going on. “Take a seat you are to stay here with me while I deal with my mate.”

​“Yes my lady” and became stone in a seat to left of her. I was really confused,

​“What is going on Lylla?”

​“What is going on I will tell you. You and your wolf just made a grave mistake. Siros was not harming me nor staking his claim on me. Your attack on him was not needed. There is too much at steak and too much going on for that. I need you to behave and keep your self in check or you stay away. I need you by my side, but if you will not get along THERE WILL BE NO NEED FOR YOU TO STAY DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR!” By the end of her rant I felt really small and luca was whining telling me that we had made a huge mistake in attacking Siros.

​“Now do you think you can do that?”

​“Yes.” I say quickly I’m really hoping that she tells me what is going on I truly do.

​“Now I will tell you what I can. I am the blue wolf. And basically what that means is I’m queen of all creatures including werewolves. I was born the blue moon and chosen as the werewolf queen by our goddess the night that I shifted. You are my mate and the king that I chose to share my burden with though according to everything I’ve learned you would mainly help with the werewolves. In two years well less now a war will happen between the supernatural world and the half humans. And what happened tonight will not happen again. Or I swear you will regret it.” She said storming out of the kitchen Jarvis following her and SIROS coming in behind them headed straight for me. HOLLY s**t!!!!

​OUR MATE is a QUEEN. What the hell. Luca was basically speechless after we were put in our place. “I understand why you did what you did otherwise I would not have allowed you to do it.”

​“What are you?” I needed to know I knew he was not werewolf his scent didn’t smell of that in fact he smelled a little fishy.​

​“I’m a merman. You are a werewolf of the rank alpha soon to be king of all Werewolves and the mate of the queen of us all. You have just by the smell of you have the largest pack in north amerce and just finished winning a challenge. “He said in between smells.

​“Wow. And what are you to my mate?”

​“I am apart of her personal guard.”

​“Thank you.”

​“You don’t need to thank me it’s my duty to protect her. I love her dearly but not the way you do. She reminds me of my little sister. And I would do anything for her.” He was a good guy I could tell. He meant what he said I would have to learn to trust him, as I needed to trust my mate.

​Its going to be different with her being a Queen, but doable. We love her and accept her we can accept her being a Queen. We should widen our territory to surround the territory of her palace to give her an extra layer of protection. Ask her I believe she will agree. Luca that is an excellent idea I will do just that.

​I started to look for her in this large home that luca was calling a palace. It basically was so I agree it was a palace. Not finding her at all but I could smell her she wasn’t in the palace anymore. I followed her vanilla scent down to the shoreline of the lake. She was swimming with Rebecca with Jarvis standing guard on the rocks. Siros joined him and stripped his clothes off before jumping in the water the minute he touched the water his form changed to what you think I merman looked like. His scales matched the exact color of his eyes. If I had been into guys I would say he was beautiful. He was circling the lake keeping his distance from the girls but near enough that if he was needed he could be there in a jiffy.
