Chapter 2

I woke up in my bed remembering everything that had happened that night meeting the moon goddess, shifting, marking my mate and running away. It scared me that I had already marked him I didn’t know his name or who he even was. I knew that I didn’t want to reject him that would break me and him. I already felt so much love for him but I was so confused. Why would I mark him already Mica wasn’t being much of a help she was ignoring me but mom had informed me that normally after the first shift that our wolves will go dormant for a few ours during the next day so I wasn’t too worried about her.

​I looked at the end of my bed and saw some books with a note on them with my moms hand righting.

​There is much that I wish I could tell you and unfortunate there is not much that I can. I have protected you for so long my lovely daughter you have grown into a strong and independent women that knows her own heart and has compassion beyond compare you are a warrior at heart. I know of what you will face I too have been contacted by our moon goddess. Our line comes from her; I must go dear I have already switched everything over to you. Our goddess has given me a task and I shall return in 6 months I do not want you to worry about me I will write and sent then to you when I can to check in on you my dear. I have met your protector. ​My mom was gone there was none that I could talk to anymore with mica down there was no one and I did not want to deal with my mate yet . Our lives were connected but I did not know what she meant. He was the alpha that nurse roger had spoken of I guess I could talk to her about him to get a since of who he was. But I was still confused on my feelings on what happened. That’s when I felt a searing pain in my stomach and in my neck where my mate had marked me. A feeling of regret and confusion and sadness came over me and I knew that I was feeling what he felt. Now I had even more questions like did he regret meeting me or marking me why was he sad. The only way I would get answers is if I went to him and I was not ready for that but maybe there was a different way I didn’t want to face him but I wanted my questions answered.

​I got up got ready for the day. I was excused from today’s school day thanks to my mother but I wanted to go ask a few questions to the nurse since she was the only one that I knew that knew the alpha. I put on a dark blue tank and my jeans that I love but instead of boots I put on flip flops which showed of my painted baby blue toes. That thankfully matched my finger nails its not a normal thing for werewolves to paint there nails with how often we shift but I enjoyed so I went weekly to get them done. In fact I had an appointment next Monday after school to have them done again maybe I would do a color to match micas true form.

​I got in my car and drive to my school traffic today was not that bad so it didn’t take me to long to get there it was in session so there were not students out at about so it was very easy to get to a parking spot. I let the secretary know that I was only here to talk to the school nurse she issued me a visitor pass gave me the okay to head that way.

​She was sitting at her desk daydreaming about just anything. She say me and beamed a huge smile not saying a word I closed the door and sat in from of her desk in the seat that was provided. She looked at me thoughtfully waiting for me to start talking but now that I see her I really don’t know what to ask.

​“I shifted last night and marked my mate without a second thought and he marked me but then I ran away from him. I know who he is and I’m scared that he regrets marking me because I ran. I didn’t mean to mark him yet but I have no intention of rejecting him. I just need to take it slow so many things are changing and I do not fully understand everything.” I tell her spilling my guts just as I’m telling her what is going in my head when I young man came into the room smelling of old blood and charcoal I instantly recognized the smell of a vampire but I new that this was the nurses mate he had brought her lunch but what he did next surprised me.

​“Jarvis what are you doing here so early?” Mrs. roger asked him seeing him stare right at me completely shocked out of his socks. “Rebecca don’t you know who this cant you smell it on her the power that she radiant’s from her.”

​“I don’t understand” I and Rebecca said. I was really confused is it possible that he knew what I was even though I barely understood what it meant.

​“Your majesty this is not a conversation for here. You really must learn how to mask your scent when you are in public until you wish to be known by the supernatural community.” he stated bowing his head towards me it’s obviously that he knew more about me than I did.

​“Please don’t bow to me I only just recently found out who and what I am and I need to come to terms with that. But since you do know a lot I would like to pick your brain later if you would be willing.” I said looking at him and I could see that Rebecca was shocked she couldn’t stop crying.

​“Of course my lady. There is something we need to discuss now though. I was a personal guard for the last queen if you will have me I would like to be again.” He stated. I didn’t know how I felt about that but I liked the idea especially with what the moon goddess told me.

​“OK I agree I like the idea very much I don’t know exactly who is out to harm me but I know that something is coming and I’m going to need all the help that I can get. Especially with learning myself.” With that said I masked my scent my mother had taught me how to do that when I first got my wolf.

​“Of course madam. We can either move to your building or we can find a suitable house to share near the edge of the city near the forest I will leave that up to you.” Rebecca said she had finally stopped crying and I was so happy because I needed her. Assign her as your personal doctor you will need her she would have been if she wasn’t mated to the vamp if you lived with your mate. Mica piped up in my head. Well did you enjoy your nap? It wasn’t a normal nap was with her learning what all you will need she will tell you in time she told me so we could get this started. You will need a large home a place were you can train in privacy there is much to be done tell them to look for that and get your mates number and call him and tell him what is worrying you.

​“Rebecca I would like you to be my personal doctor I know that you have the training. I will need a large home with privacy so I can train there is much to be done. And can I please get ALPHA damans number it is time that I spoke with him.”

​“Of course Madam I will get on that right away.” She said as she handed me a piece of paper which I knew had his number on it my fingers brushed her hand causing a crescent moon to appear on her hand.

​“Don’t be alarmed it’s normal it’s the mark of the queen. It’s normal for her person guards and medical team along with anyone else that she requires to be marked by it. You will need to cover it till our queen decides to come out of hiding.” Jarvis informed us saying it outload he took my hand and his appears on his neck. “ for medical it appears on their hands for your personal guards it will appear on their neck it is to let the work know or you know if someone is trying to impersonate us because only you can bestow this mark and it cannot be replicated.. “

​“at home I do not want you to hide them” I told them I also told them to let me know when they find the place it was time for me to contact my mate I left the school and headed back home there was a lot of info in my head.

​Instead of going home and calling daman I decided that I would just spend sometime to myself and relax and by doing that I mean I’m going shopping I had my debit card and I headed to the nearest store which just happened to be a target. I knew what I wanted to get which were moving boxes and tape. Everything was changing and it was confusing but I know that it was changing for the better. I pull to a new isle and notice some girls giggling and looking at my marks on my face which made subconscious which I didn’t understand why I was proud of them that connected me to my mate and my goddess.

​Ignoring the girls I grabbed me some new sneakers since mine were destroyed some chocolate mms mint flavor and a new journal I was going to need for all the confusion that I was under. Looking at the journals I noticed him and her ones with wolves on them. I grabbed them for me and Daman we could use them to tell each other things that happened when were away from each other for long period of times. I smiled putting them in the cart. Grabbing a new blanket that looked like Damans wolf except for the goddess’s markings I went to check out.

​Leaving target some i***t tried to drive me over, getting to the car I say Jarvis standing there looking worried. I gave him a puzzled look. “I felt that you were in danger my lady.”

​“You could feel that?” I asked putting my bags in my car. I motioned for him to get in the car this was not a discussion meant for the outside world.

​“Yes one of the advantages for me to being apart of your personal guard is that when I am not with you is that I will always feel when you are in danger. Normally the queen will keep at least one guard with you at all times but with me being your only guard member at this time that cant happen since you are in hiding.” He says. I knew that there was more than he was telling me and I needed to know so I did the only thing I could think of and brought him home with me to pack and pick his brain. “Rebecca has found the place that you asked for we should be able to move in tonight madam.”

​Grabbing my bags we both head up to my mothers apartment it had been paid up for 2 years so I could move at any time and still have it there for my mother. This was wonderful to now since she would be back in 6 months that’s what she had told me and I was going to be counting down the days.

​Letting us into the apartment I mental go through on what I want to pack up. I knew I was going to take the fridge contents so it wouldn’t go bad but anything else in the kitchen could pretty much stay unless there was anything open like chips or cookies but I doubt there was anything. Moving to the living room I would take a few pictures of me and my mom so that I could feel like she was with me. Moving us into my bedroom I start pulling things out that I want to take with me looking over and Jarvis he was making up boxes for me we were really a good team. He is going to be your most trusted adviser and you top guard take him every where with you and you should go to online school so that you aren’t without protection. But also let him have a life. ​“I would like to switched over to online school for my safety and I trust you even though I barely know you but I have questions. What do you know of the blue moon wolf?” I questioned him

​“The first queen of wolves was one which made her different. She wasn’t just the queen of wolves though that made her have to put them first but it made her the queen of all other supernatural creatures there could be no other queen within neither those creatures nor a king just her. Though thee is a king for the wolves it would normally be a brother that could share her burden since she would be caring not only for her kind but for others. Sometimes it would be a mate. I know that you are the next blue moon wolf I emmedialty new when you were able to mark me. Though I had asked you to guard you without being the blue moon you would not have been able to mark me. When you die the mark will disappear. I’ve been marked before the last queen that we had was a blue moon unfortunate during our time of peace. Her brother could not handle sharing her burden killed her and himself. I failed in my job of protecting her...” he looked so sad when he told me this.

​“It wasn’t your fault. Jarvis thank you for being here I would be lost without you we are going to be great friends. Lets get this packing finished and join Rebecca at the new place. One last question. If I have a mate how would I know if he would make a good king? Or would he be a king?”

​Jarvis smiled at me grabbing the boxes that we had filled we had packed everything that I was going to take with me I still wanted my room to look like mine when mom came back. I could get new stuff I had a good savings acct I could go shopping again tomorrow for furniture. “Rebecca told me about Daman. He’s a good alpha. He’s kind when he needs to be and merciless when needed. He’s not cold hearted he would make a good king. Let me ask you something. Does he bare the same marks that the goddess gave you?”

​I nodded to him because he did have them. “Good then when you are ready and if he accepts he was meant to be your protector to share your burden, the marks link you together. Your lives are connected. He’s meant to be your king.” Jarvis got in the driver seat and set us on our journey out of the city and into the unclaimed territory near where I met Daman the first time.

​“What do you mean we are connected? My mother said the same as well as the goddess.” We started going through the forest and to this house that was absolutely beautiful it reminded me of the home of a billionaire. It was so large it was white with large windows a plus because I loved natural light. It was surrounded by the forest with trees right out front and a meadow in the back for plenty of room for training with a lake just a few meters always. It was perfect Rebecca did a good job on picking the home. Fit for a Queen and that is what we are.

​“Your lives are tethered together the world is not meant to be ruled by one person so if he dies before you will live because of who you are madam, but if you die he will die with you. Our world was meant to have its queen and king but the burden of power is to much for just the male alone.” he said getting out of the car and grabbing my few boxes leading me thru the house. Rebecca meets us at the door grabbing my box from me.

​“What do you think?”

​“Its perfect you did a great job. Can you tell me about it?”

​“Well it has two kitchens a large living room to extra dinning rooms which I would like to convert on into a thrown room for you once your ready, there are 4 dens one should be converted to a war room and there are 17 rooms on this level 20 on the next and on the 2 to the top there are 4 on the 3rd and 2 large rooms on the top. There is an elevator for the top floor as well as stairs that are all connected.” She says leading me through the large home. And straight to the elevator. Which let us out on the top floor where you good see to rooms separated by the hall way. I chose the door to my right which already had a bunch of furniture in it. A vanity a desk a King size bed and a large bathroom with a shower and a tub and a double sink countertop and large mirrors on both sides. It was beautiful.

​“We are on the third floor if you need us. Also for the future all rooms on this floor and the third floor have been sound proofed.” Rebecca said. I knew why she told me that and it sent a shiver down my spine but I knew that I didn’t want them on the third floor. “Rebecca, Jarvis do you guys moving the other room on this floor. Id prefer if you two were close by.”

​“Of course my queen.” They both answered and went to the floor with their stuff to start moving it. I start unpacking my boxes the pillows and the new wolf blanket went on the king size bed which matched the dark blue theme that I liked so much. I put what cloths I brought in the walk in closet put my favorite land on the desk along with all three journals and the books my mother left me I put one picture of my mother and me on it as well as one on the vanity and on my bedside table, my last box was my bathroom things. This all fit nicely on one side of the sink without over lapping into the adjacent sink. I knew the sun was setting I could feel it. I informed Mica that we could go for a run tomorrow as I jumped into the shower to relax. Getting out of the hot steamy shower I place my hair in a towel and put on my lotion that I love so much as well as putting on my pajamas.

​I walk over to the bed wrap my self in the blanket that looks like Daman and call him. “Is this alpha Daman?”

It had been almost 24 hours and I wanted to be near Lylla not here in the middle of Wyoming staying in a enemy’s pack house as a guest until the scedualed dual but it gave us both a chance to come to terms of what we both want. But I missed her immensely.

​The sun was starting to set and I had just gotten out of the shower when my personal phone rang. Wondering who called me since everyone that needed to come was here. I answered the phone and said “hello”

​“Is this alpha Daman?” a coming voice said and I knew that it was Lylla because I instantly calmed and luca perked up at her voice. I knew that he had missed her as well.

​“Yes. Who am I speaking with?” I asked to just make sure that it was her I didn’t want to frighten her.

​“I’m Lylla. I’m your mate.” She said really quietly like she was scared at how I would react.

​“It’s nice to finally hear your voice little mate.” I said chuckling.

​“You’re not mad at me are you? I really did not mean to mark you yet but I’m not going to reject you either. Are you going to reject me?” he voice had loudened but with her final question it sounded like she was near tears and I couldn’t have that because there was no way that I could reject her she was perfect for me.

​“I’m not going to reject you darling. We have marked each other before truly meeting but do not change anything we can take it as slow as you want and get to know each other before taking it any farther. I’m not going anywhere.”

​“Then why did you feel sad earlier?”

​“Because I didn’t want to leave you. I’m in Wyoming about to take part in a challenge so I had to leave and I didn’t want to till we had talked but if I had state I would have to forfeit my alpha title and that would not be fair to my pack.” I told her luca wanted to take control and talk to her but I told him that there would be plenty of time for that right know this time was for us.

​“When will you be back?”

​“If I when later this week though I might have to come back up after a bit.”

​“Ok when you get back I want to see you. Until then you call me every evening to let me know that you are alive and well. “

​“Ok I can do that love do you want me to come to you or would you like to meat at my pack house when I get back?”

​“You should come to me I’m not ready to meet everyone I will text you the address.” I could hear noise in the back ground of someone calling her name though I couldn’t tell who it was but I could feel her and she wasn’t in any danger so I brushed it off.

​“Alright love I will talk to you soon till tomorrow.” We ended our call and I fell asleep with a smile on my face my mate had accepted me.

6 days it had been since I first started talking to Lylla six days of pure bliss. But know today was the day of the challenge the day that I could go home and see my beautiful Luna. The dual was in 30 minutes and I needed to win there was no other option my Luna would need me we had just got each other she could not lose me know.​

​“You ready Daman?” I heard Andrew call out to me he voice sounded worry.

​“Stop worry brother I’m going to win I will get home to my Luna and you will be going home as well your mate is waiting out there for you.” I said walking out the door. Yes Andrew is my younger brother but he was not an alpha for he was only my step brother my father past away when I took over the pack and my mothers second chance mater was his beta so I had grown up with Andrew and we were already like brothers so it worked out. He was also my best friend which is why he is my beta. We walked out to the arena that had been set up for the fight. The alpha from the other pack was smirking his ass off I could not wait to ripe it off his face...

​The beta from the red rose pack goes to the middle of the arena and anoused to the whole pack rules even though there was only one rule who ever kills the other wins the dual everything else goes. And with that the alpha phased to his wolf and attacked I had a different approach I would stay in my human form till he had warn himself out energy. I miscalculated a jump his claws slashed through my side I could feel the pain that I was in but I felt hers as well I knew I had to be more careful not just for my survival but for my Luna so she would not be in pain. Let me take over he is already winded I can end for them. I agreed I jumped and shifted mid air landed on the alpha and tore his jaw of with my paw put my teach around his neck and didn’t let go till he had his last breath. Shifting back naked though I didn’t care I was bleeding from my side “Swear you r loyalty to your new alpha or get my territory and go rouge.”

​Every single wolf except 2 swore loyalty the beta and gamma went wrong they had been the younger brothers of the alpha they had respect for me but they wanted to search the world for their mates since their brother never allowed them I granted it and told them if they ever came back they would be welcomed for I understood wanted to have your other half. It was time to go home and with that I walked to Andrew and told him quickly to get us home and passed out. It was time to heal.
