Setting: University campus. Several days later. Montage-style sequence — quick flashes:
• LEE YEON and TAEYANG crossing paths on campus.
• Both in the same lecture hall, three rows apart.
• Accidentally reaching for the same book in the library.
• Sitting at opposite ends of the same café.
Each time, Taeyang looks more rattled. He avoids, pretends, hides — but fate keeps looping them together.

Scene continues: Group Discussion Room
They finish another project session. Everyone packs up. TAEYANG stays seated as the others slowly leave. He watches Lee Yeon laugh at something Jiwoo says — then turns to go.
(Taeyang stands up quickly, clears his throat.)

Lee Yeon—wait.
(LEE YEON stops at the door and turns around casually.)
LEE YEON
Hmm?
TAEYANG
(awkward, breath caught)
I… I wanted to talk to you. About…
(LEE YEON raises a brow, waiting. TAEYANG hesitates. The words won’t come.)
LEE YEON
(tilting his head, playful)
About the project?
TAEYANG
No, I mean—about us. I mean… that day. Years ago—
LEE YEON
(blinks, then smiles warmly)
Oh, that?
(TAEYANG goes silent. His chest tightens. LEE YEON walks a few steps closer but keeps the mood light.)
LEE YEON
It’s fine, sunbae. I don’t remember much about it anyway. We were kids. It doesn’t matter.
(Pause. Taeyang stares at him like he’s seeing a ghost.)
LEE YEON
We’re in the same school now, same project group. Let’s just be friends, yeah?
(He offers his hand. TAEYANG stares at it like it might burn him.)
TAEYANG
(small, stunned voice)
O…kay.
(LEE YEON smiles again — almost too sweet — and walks away without looking back. TAEYANG slowly lowers into his seat, dazed, jaw clenched.)

(voiceover, rattled)
He doesn’t remember?
Or… he does, and he’s pretending.
But why?
