The proposal

“So Ryan tell me more about this Olivia Bryant.” Matthew said to his long time friend and business partner. Matthew had only a few weeks left before he had to leave to Bora Bora for his family vacation which usually was about a month. It’s where the whole family mom, dad, siblings, aunts, uncles even his grandmother. The vacation was more for his grandmother who would be turning eighty it was a celebration for her and a chance for the family to reminisce. The only issue was the last time he spoke to his mom which had been more than a while he was currently seeing someone and had mentioned he would bring her. It was more of a hookup that was exchanged between the two but it was always nice to have company so Matthew had invited the young lady forgetting about it all until it was down to the last minute. Matthew had called it quits because he well to be honest had just got bored but now he was in a pickle and needed a date. Not just any girl would do though he needed someone who would also please his family. “Why would you be interested in this Olivia chick?” Matthews co worker asked looking interested himself. “I really don’t have to explain myself but like I said before it’s just business.” Matthew said glancing at Olivia. “Ryan please get me everything there is to know about her and do it fast please.” Matthew said walking away. This Olivia women was different usually Matthew had women falling over him hell even a few men did but this women never seemed to even glance his way. Matthew had even slept with the woman’s best friend Teagan who also worked for the company hoping to get Olivia’s attention but instead she didn’t seem jealous or phased by it. She was beautiful indeed. She had long auburn hair and olive skin. Her eyes were a green emerald color. She was polite in every way I don’t think there was even a mean bone in this woman’s body. There was something about this woman that he felt drawn too and couldn’t help but want to try and figure her out. Perhaps she would be the perfect person to play the part of his spouse. Olivia checked her emails before she began working on her other assignments there was an email from the CEO himself rolling her eyes she clicked on it and read the message “Olivia Mr. Coleman would like to see you in his office right away.” Looking around Olivia checked her assignments before getting up to go see Mr. Coleman. Once at his office door Olivia went to knock and before she could the door opened to Mr. Coleman standing in the door way grinning. “What could he possibly want.” Olivia thought to herself. It wasn’t like she wasn’t attracted to him because she was it was just more on the note that the last thing she wanted was to end up like every other girl drooling over some guy who couldn’t commit or keep it in his pants no longer than a few days. Matthew was tall about 6ft or so he had a muscular body that could be seen when he wore his suits most time Olivia thought he bought his clothes a size too small just to show off his muscles. He had dark hair that he often wore into a man bun and sky blue eyes. He had a deep voice and perfect white teeth. His skin was a beautiful tan with a natural glow and let’s not forget the facial hair that was kept clean and trimmed. His jaw structure was well defined almost like it was sculpted and though this man screamed s*x appeal he was nothing more than a man w***e in Olivia’s eyes. “You wanted to see me sir?” Olivia asked while looking anywhere but at Matthew. “Please come in Olivia and call me Matthew.” He stated while shutting the door behind her. “So how have you been?” Matthew asked Olivia while walking back to his desk. “Fine.” Olivia answered back almost to eager even for her liking. “How’s your boyfriend has he came back home yet?” Matthew questioned looking at her seeing that he seem to have hit a nerve. “Is this man f*****g serious?” Olivia thought to herself. It wasn’t no secret that Olivia’s boyfriend would disappear from weeks at a time without leaving a hint of where he was or even if he was ok. It use to scare the s**t out of Olivia at first but eventually it became something she got use too. She would spend countless hours to try and find him when it only lead to more stress, heartbreak and confusion. It had gotten to wear Olivia would leave a key under the welcome mat for whenever he did decide to show up. Things weren’t always like this at point she thought he’d be the guy she married but things weren’t looking that way anymore. She loved him of that she was sure she didn’t won’t to see anything bad happen to him though she wasn’t sure if she was “in love.” Clearing her throat she looked across the office where Matthew stood “my personal life is none of your concern.” She quickly said. Hating the brief encounter her friend Teagan had with this man and the stories she shared with him. “With all due respect I just wanted to make sure everything was ok.” Matthew said trying to calm Olivia who seemed upset. “Mr. Coleman can we please just cut to the chase and get to why you asked me into your office?” Olivia said crossing her arms over her chest. Sure Matthew could have just came out and said the real reason he called Olivia into his office. “People talk Olivia and I wanted to make sure you were doing ok.” “People talk as in Teagan?” Olivia questioned getting more annoyed by the second. “Look I don’t know what Teagan told you but I am fine and I don’t need you to pay some kind of pity to me either!” Olivia shouted and left the office with Matthew still standing behind his desk more intrigued about Olivia than before. “God what is it with Teagan and opening her big mouth!” Olivia thought to herself. Teagan was Olivia’s best friend they met way before Coleman’s Enterprises. They were best friends back in grade school and had been inseparable since. Teagan was the opposite of Olivia in many ways one of those being an over sharer. She didn’t mean no harm letting it slip that Olivia’s boyfriend was here one minute and gone the next but the last thing Olivia wanted was her boss snooping around. Back in high school or even college Olivia could remember the times Teagan tried to play match maker a few times. They weren’t all bad dates that Teagan would bribe Olivia into going out on. Some of the men were sweet and well mannered but they also just seemed a little to boring for Olivia’s taste. It wasn’t long after college Olivia ran into her now boyfriend Nathan he was adventurous to say the least. He had a weird sense of humor that Olivia became to like. He was tall not overweight but not skinny either he was average you could say. He was well cleaned and groomed. Olivia didn’t get the chance to meet his family has he once stated they were estranged. The work day was coming to an end which meant it was time for Olivia to head home. It was pouring down rain when she went to step outside the building. Where ever Nathan was should could only hope he was at least dry. Thankfully it was July so there wasn’t any worry of Nathan freezing. It was hard Olivia had once tried to reach out to friends to help with Nathan disappearing and all anyone could tell her was he’d come home when he was ready. The rain was beginning to come down heavy and Olivia’s car wouldn’t start. “f**k!” She said to herself. She figured she’d sit there for a few and try again later as of right now she was just happy to be out of the rain. Trying once again to start her car with no luck she tried calling Nathan only to get his voicemail. She scrolled through her contacts and called Teagan three phone calls later she finally picked up. “Hey love what’s going on?” Teagan questioned. “Tea I’m still at work and my cars having trouble could you come get me?” Olivia asked her best friend. “Babe I’m currently on a date but let me see what I can do.” Teagan said back. Feeling defeated Olivia hung up the phone and threw it in the seat next to her. How could this be happening she thought to herself. An hour went by when a car pulled up beside her Olivia felt relief hoping it was someone to help her. Suddenly Olivia got a look at the person coming around to her driver door and without a warning it was no other than her boss the CEO himself. “Teagan” she said to herself. She knew this had to be Teagans doing though she wasn’t surprised Teagan sent someone else. Matthew motioned for Olivia to roll the window down so he could speak to her. “Someone called for help?” He spoke with a smirk. “My car won’t start.” Olivia said back hoping he would just take a look and it be some easy fix. “Liv it’s raining to hard for me to look at your car but I can give you a lift.” Matthew said looking eager. Olivia stubborn as all get out just sat there contemplating her options she honestly didn’t won’t to seek help from the man who was ever so eager to help only to want something in return. She thought about walking but even she knew with it raining like it was that probably wasn’t a good idea. Swallowing her pride back she accepted the offer and only hoped she wouldn’t regret it. “Thank you for the ride I can give you some gas money when I get home.” Olivia said politely. “No need I’m glad I can be of service Liv.” Matthew spoke back smiling. “No one uses Liv much anymore.” She told him. “I don’t see why not when Teagan called you Liv for the first time I thought it was cute.” Matthew replied back hoping to break some of that wall away Olivia had up. “I’m not interested in hooking up or whatever your intentions are Matthew.” Olivia shot back looking at Matthew who seemed to be enjoying the car ride. Laughing to himself he stopped the car several feet away from Olivia’s apartment complex. “What are you doing?” Olivia questioned quickly. “Trust me when I say this I believe you’ll be more than interested with what I have in mind.” Matthew said Olivia was puzzled but also interested in what more Matthew had to say. She couldn’t help herself Matthew that close to her she could smell his exotic cologne and feeling his breath on her skin gave her goosebumps. She was most definitely attracted to Matthew but she wouldn’t dare give him the satisfaction of letting him know plus there was a pitch of guilt she felt because technically she wasn’t single even though Nathan wasn’t around. “I think I’ll see you tomorrow at work.” Olivia whispered softly to Matthew and got out of the car. The rain had finally stopped and She fought the urge to look back knowing Matthew was watching her walk to her apartment. Once inside her apartment once again no sign of Nathan she eased her mind and took a nice hot shower once out she decided to call the hospitals, morgue and jails to see if Nathan had been at any of those and none had even heard of someone by that description. Olivia decided she’d give his friend Samual a call to see if he had at least heard from Nathan and rest assured he had and told her he was ok that he just needed time. She wasn’t sure from what though she knew Nathan had a mental illness and suffered from his demons she had promised him along time ago she’d always be a safe place he could come too. Resting her mind and body in bed with knowing that at least Nathan was alive and seen when her phone went off. “Ping ping” glancing at her phone there was a text from a number she didn’t at first recognize. “I could see the desire in your eyes.” It read and Olivia had a gut feeling it was from no other than Matthew. “How did you get my number?” She quickly wrote back. Watching as the three little dots danced across the screen she knew that was a stupid question he was her boss after all. “I wonder how good your tongue would taste.” The message said. There was a tingling sensation Olivia felt after reading that text from Matthew even she knew it had been way to long since she had any kind of intimacy but she wouldn’t let him know that. “Is there something you wanted Mr. Coleman?” Olivia wrote back. “I think you know what I want but for now there’s a favor I need instead, care for some company?” Matthew wrote. Thinking of Matthew her boss the CEO over at her house for a favor had her mind racing. “What favor?” Olivia asked hoping he’d just ask over text instead. “Invite me over.” Matthew sent back. “Fine come over but no funny business.” Olivia sent back nervously. Jumping out of bed to try and make her small one bedroom apartment look decent she ran into the bathroom to make sure she didn’t look too homeless when she heard a knock on the door. Breathing in one big breath and blowing it out slowly she went and opened the door. Matthew was standing there with a stack of papers and still with his dress pants on and button up white shirt. “Come in.” Olivia gestured to her little apartment shutting the door behind him. Matthew looking around and than back at Olivia before taking a seat on the couch. “Nice little place you have.” He said trying to sound polite in the best way even though he knew the place she lived in was a nightmare. “Drinks?” Olivia asked from the kitchen. Matthew shaking his head while watching Olivia bring two glasses of some clear liquid. “Sorry all I got is some Tequila.” She said handing him a glass before taking a seat next to him making sure to leave space between the two. Matthew smiled and took a sip as Olivia did the same. “So what’s this favor?” She asked hoping to lighten the air around them. “It’s more of a proposal.” Matthew said back keeping his gaze upon Olivia. “Take a look at the paperwork and read it and tell me what you think.” Matthew said placing the paperwork beside her making sure his hand lightly grazed her thigh. Hesitantly Olivia started reading the paperwork which was about Matthew himself and how he became CEO. Continuing to read she paused and re read the same paragraph over and over before looking at Matthew. “Your going to hire someone to play your girlfriend for a month on your family vacation!” She said laughing at the thought of that going down. “What the CEO himself can’t go out and find a date?” She spat out still laughing knowing it was the Tequila making her this way. “Why don’t you just tell them the truth.” Olivia finally said while calming her self down. “And what truth is that Olivia?” Matthew quickly asked. “Oh you know the type that is afraid of commitment and can’t keep it in his pants nor could you sleep with the same girl that long.” Olivia said before realizing what she had just said out loud in front of her boss. Pouring himself another shot of Tequila Matthew watched as embarrassed Olivia looked down at the floor. He could see she wasn’t wearing a bra at this point and her n*****s were becoming hard. “Let me prove you wrong.” Matthew said while walking over to Olivia. She looked up at him standing in front of her not having the words to say back. Matthew grabbed Olivia by the arm so she was standing in front of him, he started slowly backing her into the living room wall so she wouldn’t be able to escape. “I’m not interested Coleman.” Olivia spoke realizing she was up against her wall with Matthew standing up against her. Leaning in close Matthew traced soft kisses on Olivia’s neck feeling her body tremble beneath his. “Scared of a challenge?” Matthew asked while nibbling on Olivia’s ear. The sensations Matthew was giving Olivia had her dazed she hadn’t felt like this in a while and she didn’t want his to stop. “Please say yes Olivia, tell me you want me just as bad as I want you.” Matthew whispered in her ear while sliding his hands down her waist inching closer to the inside of her shorts. By now Olivia was throbbing by just what Matthew was saying she hadn’t had any s****l activity in God only knows how long and she could feel her p***y getting wet. Olivia wanted him hell she wanted to be f****d so bad but she couldn’t allow herself to give in so easily not to someone like Matthew. “Stop!” Olivia shouted pushing Matthew back. “What the hell Liv?” Matthew shouted back looking confused. “I’m not just some girl you can sweet talk your c**k into.” She said angrily. “Liv it’s not like that please I want you to help me I’m willing to pay.” Matthew said trying to plead with Olivia. “Why me?” Olivia asked. “Like I said there’s money involved and I’m not about to just give it to some bimbo who doesn’t deserve it Olivia.” Matthew said back bitterly. “No intimacy involved whatever you want im willing to give or do if you just agree and sign the paperwork.” Matthew said looking back at Olivia. “Anything?” She questioned. “Yes!” Matthew said thinking it wouldn’t be much. “Fine I’ll play into your plan but I need your help into finding Nathan, he’s back on drugs and I want you to pay for his treatment.” Olivia said bowing her head. Startled by what Olivia just said Matthew looked at Olivia. “Did she say drugs.” He thought to himself. “I’ll help.” Matthew said thought he was determined to find out more about Nathan and his drug use. Olivia shocked and thankful all at the same time hugged Matthew before signing the agreement of her playing his spouse for the month.
