The Rogue Alpha And His Wolfless Luna

The mating ceremony finally came to an end. Alice was overjoyed when her best friend, whom she had been secretly crushing on, chose her as his mate. She was so used to people choosing her twin sister, Stella, over her because she was the “cursed twin," who was born without a wolf. She was made the laughing stock of the pack, always ridiculed by everyone, but now she is mated with the Beta of her father’s pack, Lucas. Lucas is the youngest beta known. His father was the original Alpha of the Moonclaw Pack, while Alice’s father was the beta, but unfortunately, his parents died as a result of an unfortunate explosion caused by Wolf Hunters. Alice’s father, Alpha Adam, had to take over as the Alpha, and now that Lucas is grown, he has been made the Beta of the pack. He made a promise to Lucas’ father to take care of and protect Lucas. Alice was walking to her room to finally take a rest from the day’s activity but came to a halt when she heard a sound. The sound grew more intense as she sauntered down the hallway, her hands clutching her blue sequin dress. “Yes! Yes! That feels so good, Lucas. Don't stop, please. Don't stop,” a tiny voice came through from across the hallway. Her heart stopped when she heard Lucas’ name. She was familiar with the voice, and she was certain about it. She stopped at the door where the voice was louder, twisted the door knob, and right before her stood her greatest fear. Beta Lucas, her mate, was right on top of her sister, Stella, both naked. It was the day of their mating ceremony, and he didn’t even acknowledge or respect their mate bond. Lucas promised to wait until she got her wolf, no matter how long it would take before he would mark her, but there he was with her sister. “Lucas?” She called out his name, trying her best to remain calm. Her hand clutched her chest, trying to breathe properly. “What is going on here?” She asked. Lucas and Stella turned with their eyes wide in shock. Embarrassed by the fact that they just got caught, they quickly scrambled to cover themselves up. “Alice, please, you have to calm down. I can explain." Lucas pleaded. “My sister… Out of all the people you had to choose from, why did it have to be Stella?” Tears slowly trickled down her cheek as the makeup she spent hours perfecting was ruined. There was so much going through her head. Everything just had to go wrong in her life. First, she was wolfless, and now her mate is sleeping with her sister. Stella scoffed and smirked. “If you expect him to choose a weak, wolfless person like you as his luna, then you must be delusional." Stella was now on her feet; she had just her underwear on, and her great curves were on full display. Alice had always lived in the shadow of her sister, stella. Stella was the “golden girl” of the pack. She was beautiful and had a wolf, she was a luna material. And now she watched as once again, stella was chosen over her. “You do not feel sorry about having s*x with my mate! You have everything, Stella, from your father’s love and support to being the “golden” daughter. Why did you have to go for the one thing I have?" Alice screamed. Stella had a mate, and the mate was a Gamma from a neighboring pack; however, Stella rejected him in front of everyone. Now the reason for her rejection makes sense, and Alice understands why Stella rejected him. Stella rolled her eyes, not caring about Alice’s outburst. “I am in love with Lucas, and he loves me too. He just agreed to accept you because his father told him to." Stella smirked. “STOP IT! STOP f*****g LYING, STELLA!” Alice tightened her fist as she roared. She could feel the anger building inside her, waiting to be unleashed. No longer able to bear it, she lunged forward, attacking Stella, but was stopped in time by Lucas, who protected Stella. “Stop your drama, Alice! You are embarrassing yourself right now,” Lucas said, rolling his eyes. "Yes, Stella is right; I wouldn’t have chosen you if not for your father pleading on your behalf.” “What?!” Alice exclaimed in disbelief. She wasn’t sure she heard it correctly. She felt her heart breaking into pieces. “You are weak, Alice. No matter how much you train physically trying to make up for your selflessness, it does not stop the fact that you are wolfless. Who would want a wolfless Luna to rule?” Lucas condemned her. Stella stood behind Lucas, smirking and looking at Alice in a taunting way. “Don’t lose hope, dear sister; maybe an omega can be your next mate, who knows?” Stella condescendingly said to Alice. “You must be joking, right?” Alice laughed dryly. “I’m serious, Alice. I love Stella, and she is the perfect Luna for me. And I don’t care about your father’s wishes anymore; I am going to reject you.” "I, Beta Lucas, reject Alice as my mate,” Lucas said in a stern, cold voice. Alice felt like the air was being punched out of her lungs. She felt a pang of pain piercing through her chest. “Accept my rejection now!” Lucas boomed Uncontrollably, tears stream down her cheeks as Alice clutches her chest due to the uncontrollable pain from the heartbreak and betrayal. She has never felt such deep pain in her life. “I Alice accepts your rejection." She manages to choke herself out before storming out and running to her bedroom. She shuts the door and slides down on the ground, crying uncontrollably. BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Alice hears an explosion, and immediately her heart starts racing. “What’s happening?” She thought. “Rogue attack!!!” She hears one of the warriors scream. She scurries out of the room and rushes down the hall to the living room to find out what’s going on. The living room is a mess, with people running to find a safe place. Alice heads outside and sees some warriors of the pack fighting. One of the rogues rushed at her, and she kicked him hard on his knee, causing him to withdraw backwards while whimpering. Even though Alice was wolfless, she was physically strong and could defend herself. She trained daily to prove herself to her pack that she was indeed a strong wolf. The rogues noticed they were outnumbered. “LET GO!” One of the rogues screamed, and they began to run back towards the forest. Breathing heavily as she looked around, she felt relieved that there was no death or serious injury. “THE ALPHA!!!” One of the maids screamed in fear from inside the pack. Alice is distraught, hoping that what she fears isn’t true. “THE ALPHA IS DEAD!!!”
