I'm back
"Have you told your school friends that we're going to the Philippines? Matagal tayo roon, Lori, eight months." I said.
Kakapasok ko lang ng sasakyan, tinignan ko si Lori na kanina pa busy sa paghahalungkat ng kung ano sa loob ng purple backpack niya.
"Baby, are you listening?"
"Mommy, I think I lost the pencil Kuya Kervin gave me..." ngumuso siya, tinaktak na niya ang laman no'n.
I sighed, "Oh... baka nakalimutan mo lang sa desk mo. Want me to go--"
"Oh, it's here pala!" Nagliwanag ang mukha niya, she did a little dance and showed the pencil to me, proudly.
I chuckled. "Nasabi mo ba sa friends mong sa Philippines ka muna mag-aaral?"
"Yes, mommy. They cried nga, e."
"Did you cry too?"
"No, mommy. They're still alive pa naman po."
