Chapter14
Isabelle POV
Pain.
That's the first word that came to mind; I couldn't help but let out a groan.. The pain subsided and was replaced by pleasure.
They retract their fangs from my neck and lick my mark for quicker healing. Pulling back, they look at their mark with a look of adoration.
I feel drowsy and I'm quite sure it shows.
"Sleep, princess." I shake my head.
"Not before I mark you too." I speak. Leaning up, I grab the back of his neck and pull him to me. He tilts his head, granting me more access. I trial kisses from his chin to his collarbone, where I plant a long, lingering kiss. My fangs extract and I bite down. He grunts as I pull my fangs out of his neck, licking his wound.
I repeat the action for Sebastian as well, trailing kisses until I found a spot, before biting down.
"All MINE." I say when I pull away from both of them. I fall onto my back and they wrap their arms around me.
My eyes burn with exhaustion so I close them. The twins' arms tighten around me; possessively.
"All mine.." I mumble before I give into the drowsiness.
~
When I wake I am warm. Too warm. I open my eyes that feel as heavy as lead. Austin and Sebastian have their arms draped over me and their legs are coiled with mine. I try to lift their arms from off of me but it only causes them to groan and tighten them.
"I have to shower." I whisper, more to myself. I try to get up again, but it's no use; They're holding onto me as if I would leave. Closing my eyes, I drop my head in defeat. Their warmth consumes me, and once again I fall asleep.
"Wake up, Belle."
I groan. I hear two deep chuckles, and it causes my body to shiver involuntarily. Austin and Sebastian each place several kisses on my shoulder blades.
When did I get onto my stomach?
"Get up, princess." Austin mumbles in between kisses. I turn my head to the side to look at him.
I look up under my lashes and say, "I got up earlier. You both wouldn't let me go.."
They both smile. I bury my face back into the pillow and close my eyes.
"Don't you guys have a meeting this morning?" I say, my voice muffled by the pillow.
"Shit." They both curse, before they move frantically, getting off of the bed. Someone hits the floor and to follow the sound is a string of curses. I stifle a laugh as I listen to them move around the room.
I roll onto my back and watch the twins move in and out of the closet and bathroom. They come back out dressed in white dress shirts rolled up at the sleeves and black pants.
Can I say yum?
"So glad you're both mine." I mumble. I'm going to assume that they both heard me from the smirks on their face.
The twins walk over to me with the smirks still planted on their faces.
Austin leans down placing a lingering kiss on my lips.
"All yours." He mumbles against them. He pulls back slightly. "All mine." He says kissing his mark before standing to his full height.
Sebastian does the same; Placing a kiss on my lips, before trailing feather light kisses to his mark on the other side of my neck.
"We'll be back, Belle. Rest." He says pulling away also. He and Austin give me one last lingering look before walking out and closing the door behind them.
I close my eyes with a smile on my face; attempting to get more sleep. That proves to be an impossible task though, as I am fully awake. I sit up, making my way to the bathroom to shower.
I stop when I pass by the mirror to look at both marks.
Austin and Sebastian's wolves are printed on my neck with their names in a unique cursive under it. I take off my shirt to get a better look.
Around their wolves are their aura's are blue and there is a small blue moon on the corner of each.
On the right side of my body the marking continues, wrapping down my whole right arm in a spiral, stopping at my wrist.
In between the spirals lies four words.
Purity
Strength
Endurance
Persistence
I look at all of them with curiosity.
An alpha's mark is special, but this isn't normal.
I decide on taking a quick shower before going to find Cassandra. She's sitting in the kitchen with her face in a book.
"Cassy." I call out to her. She turns giving me a full faced smile.
"Isabelle-" She stops whatever she was going to say when she sees the marking from my neck trailing to my arm.
"Woah.." I'm sure she didn't even mean to say that.
"Yeah.. it's weird. I know that alpha's mark is above normal, but Cassy, this is..."
"Different." She says, nodding her head.
"Yeah. On to different things..."
"You're officially Luna!" She yells. I slap my hand over her mouth and glare. Pack members stop walking to watch us. I drag her out of the kitchen and into the living area.
I look back to Cassy. "Geez. Loud much?"
She looks at me with embarrassment and something else. I look at her for a moment before smiling. Damn, I couldn't stay mad at her if I wanted to.
She squeals, silently this time. I chuckle. "I'm hungry.."
I look at her with a pleading face. She turns around, acting like she doesn't see me.
"C'mon Cassy.. I can't trust anyone here to cook my food for a while.. It's either you cook me food or I go hunt." I say, turning her back to face me.
She sighs, feigning annoyance. "Fine." She agrees.
We turn around and walk back into the kitchen. Someone bumps into me and nearly knocks me to the floor.
Turning, I see Claire looking at me with a smirk. I move forward, willing to knock the smirk off of her face, when Cassandra grabs me. Of course, I could push her arms away, but I wouldn't risk hurting her.
"Problem, Isabelle?" Claire speaks. Not only mocking me, but disrespecting me as well.
"What the heck is your problem?"
"I don't have a problem, Isabelle. But I suppose if I did have one.." She trails off. I let out a disbelieving laugh.
"Walk away, pup. Before I hurt you." I growl out.
She opens her mouth to say something but stops short seeing both marks on my neck. "They marked you?!" She screeches.
I almost smirk, but I settle for raising an eyebrow.
"You don't deserve to be Luna." Claire mumbles. I feel Cassy freeze behind me.
"Isabelle, don't-" Cassy goes to pull me harder.
"Excuse me?" I say, releasing myself from her grip. Claire's face is one of fear, but she stands still, looking me in my eyes. "I don't deserve to be Luna?" I ask. Her face hardens.
"If I don't, who does? You?" I ask mockingly.
"Yes, actually, I do. You're too weak." She has her head held high. Ellie wants out. She wants to tear her head from her body and feed it to rogues.
"Are you challenging me?" I walk forward to Claire. Pack members start filing into the kitchen, watching things play out.
"Luna Isabelle, are you okay?" I turn to the voice and see Liam looking at me with uncertainty in his eyes. I give him a brief smile, flashing my eyes blue. All of the pack members who see let out a gasp and take a step back. I turn back to Claire.
"Challenge Accepted, pup. If I win, I want you out of MY pack. If you win, you're Luna." I turn back to the growing crowd. "Any objections?"
Silence greets me. "Good." I grab Claire by her blonde hair and drag her outside; watching her face contort to pain. Pack members follow us out to the front, as if protecting me from Claire.
I throw her to the ground a few meters in front of me.
She takes a moment to get to her feet before shifting into her wolf. Her wolf is a nasty shade of brown with a few darker spots like she stepped into mud. I feel something come from my body and surround us. I'm confused for a moment before focusing back on the wolf in front of me.
I stay in my human form watching her. I won't let Ellie take control, she'll kill her. I hear people talking behind me and immediately recognize the voices as Sebastian's and Austin's.
"Isabelle!" They both shout. I ignore them. They try to come closer but are stopped by something, like a barricade is put around Claire and I. I hear Liam telling Austin and Sebastian to let it happen, and it makes me smirk.
"Whenever you're ready, pup."
She wastes no time charging to me. When she gets close to me, I move out of the way so she runs past me. I grab her tail with both hands and pull her back, throwing her over my head. Her wolf whines, not wanting to be apart of this fight, but is stuck having to defend her human.
She runs back towards me and I stay still. She tries to go for the kill; Her jaws try to clamp down onto my neck. I swing my fist into her side and hear a reassuring c***k. I repeat the action several times before kicking her side, sending her into the ground as I take two steps back.
LET ME KILL HER, BELLE! Ellie screams through our link.
I ignore her and focus back onto Claire. She's struggling to stand.
"Done, pup?" I growl, my fangs and claws elongating. She shakes her head and charges back at me. I lower myself to the ground waiting until she gets to me; When she does her jaws catch my shoulder. I grunt and try to shake her off. It's not easy, as her jaws are holding on tightly.
With strength I've gained and strength I didn't know resided in me, I push her off of my body and claw her face. She stumbles back and I kick her into a tree. I'm by her side again before I can comprehend and I put my foot to her neck. There is enough pressure to let her know that if I wanted to kill her right there, I could.
"Shift." I growl.
She growls back, blood flying from her snout and I add more pressure to her neck.
"I said shift, pup." I growl again, this time with more force. She shifts back from her brown wolf and lays under my foot stark naked, but I don't care.
"Still consider me weak?" I ask rhetorically. "You lost, pup."
She grunts, trying to push my foot off of her neck. I take my foot off of her and take a couple of steps back. I watch as she shakily stands to her feet, favoring her left side. No doubt I broke one or two ribs. It almost makes a pang of guilt go through me; Almost.
I feel something absorb back into my body, and it leaves me disoriented for a second. Claire takes that second to come up behind me, attacking me in mind. I throw my head and elbow back when I feel her get close enough. She falls back to the ground and I stand over her. She looks like she is about to lose consciousness. I wouldn't blame her. I know I hit her hard, but she shouldn't have challenged me. She's lucky that I didn't let Ellie out to kill her.
"Liam." I called out. He's by my side in less than a second.
"Yes, Luna?" He sounds like he is ready to do anything I ask.
"Take her to your cells. Don't let her out until I say so. Understood?"
"Yes, Luna." He complies, picking up Claire by her shoulders and walks away to the back of the pack house.
Sebastian and Austin rush to my side.
They fire question after question, "Are you okay? What happened? Is your shoulder alright? Are you hurt-"
"I'M FINE!" I say, cutting them off from their bombarding questions. They look taken aback by my tone. "I'm fine." I say more calmly. They still look me over before going to hug me. They stop short, looking at the marking on my arm as Cassy did about 15 minutes ago.
"Woah.." Sebastian mumbles. I'm not even sure he was aware he said Austin looks over my arm and marks before his eyes shoot behind me. I turn and catch Cassy's gaze. She's looking at me.. well my arm, before she looks back to Austin.
I'm going to take a wild guess and say that they're mind linking each other; No doubt Sebastian has gotten swept up in the conversation, as his eyes are no longer focused, but trained onto my arm.
I step away from them, looking at the crowd of pack members.
"You all are free to go back to your daily routines. I am sorry for the interruption." I hear murmurs of 'its okays' before a woman steps forward with who I assume to be her husband and pup.
"Are you okay, Luna? Are you hurt?" She asks. Others make sound of agreement, as if they should've been the one to ask me the question.
"Yes, I am fine. Thank you for asking." I tell her with a genuine smile on my face.
"No problem, Luna. It is my job to make sure that my Luna is okay." She says with a lot of honesty in her voice.
I smile.
The crowd slowly disperses and I watch them leave.
"Isabelle." I hear Austin call from behind me.
"Hmm?"
He, Sebastian and Cassy come to stand in front of me.
"We need to go see an elder." I look at him with confusion.
"What for? I'm fine.." I say.
He looks at Cassy and Sebastian. They look at each other for a moment before Cassy turns to face me.
"We think you're the Moon Goddess's daughter."
